Among the big changes are that Genos's arms are now completely CGI. A lot of the action and movement looks pretty slow and floaty as well, none of the punch or impact of the first season. I know it's unreasonable to expect the new studio to rival Madhouse, but I still feel like they could've done better than this.

And there's always a chance the BDs will fix things. While it's not exactly inspiring that studios have to constantly fix their shit in the home releases, it's better than them just ignoring the poor quality they do and not attempt to make some improvements.

the manga is actually just Murata redrawing and expanding on the original webcomic by ONE, which does reach the end of Garou's arc and beyond. but yeah, the end of the tournament is probably where it'll stop, so it'll cover all the King stuff and the hero hunting.
