There was really no other option. WB had Detective Pikachu and Godzilla 2 are coming out in May, Aquaman was in December and January and February are dump months. The rest of the summer is jampacked too. June is Alladin, and Toy Story 4, maybe X-Men and MIB might have posted threats too, July is Spider-Man and Lion King. It was April or buster.

Detective Pikachu will do fine. Not only are people excited about, but following the Sonic trailer it's getting even more positive buzz. Paramount pretty much made it so even fence sitters want to see it now. Godzilla will do decent enough too it's a month away from Endgame at that point steam will have died down.
