Why not? They're being made by Marvel Studios. Who, unlike Marvel Entertainment (a completely separate production company who made all the TV and Netflix shows), produces the MCU exclusively. If Feige wants the shows created by Marvel Studios to have influence on the movies, there's no reason to think they won't.

They should have had her survive the snap, contrasting how she'd cope with losing everything to how Thor coped, and built to this moment more, but it still manages to feel earned.

Even after showing off how many female characters they have, Wanda being one of the most powerful means that they could face real backlash if they killed her off or did some Disassembled/House of M story that turned her into a villain.

She mostly appears in Avengers comics and a lot of people learned about her from the first two years of the Kurt Busiek/George Pérez Avengers, where they introduced the "chaos magic" thing.

Otherwise she floats in and out of the first year of the X-Men (the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants), joins the Avengers in the famous lineup change in issue #16, leaves then comes back (in issue #75) to begin her long romance with Vision, they stay with the Avengers for many years and get two "Vision and the Scarlet Witch" limited series.

After Avengers Disassembled/House of M takes her out of the Avengers (and she's still not back) there's her return in "Avengers: Children's Crusade" and her ongoing written by James Robinson and not a whole lot else of note.

I remember Children's Crusade pulled some sideways Doom Wank to make House of M more his fault then hers. I was fine with that. It was a fucking awful decision to tear her down. But then she just... didn't do anything. And her costume in the Robinson series looks awful.

Nope, she and Vision were part of a core of characters who almost never had their own series and were the Avengers characters who the comic mostly revolved around, because the Avengers writers couldn't do anything with Cap, Thor, Iron Man etc.

Her stories are so intertwined with the Avengers stories you can't really collect them solo. Just ask for what arcs or eras focus on her. Wundagore probably does. I think. Jesus it's been a long time.

Both of her 1980s miniseries with Vision have been collected, and there was another collection, named "Avengers: Scarlet Witch" released in time for Age of Ultron, it collected her 1993 miniseries and every other solo story.

Yeah you got to keep in mind team books use their status as team books to boost C listers to A listers. They keep the A listers so you look at the book, but they can't actually change them because they have their own books. They rely on the B listers to keep you interested in the book month to month. There's usually certain characters that aren't so small they just fuck off, nor so runaway successful they get their own book. Scarlet Witch, Vision, Martian Manhunter, most of the Teen Titans, etc etc.

Pretty sure that Disney+ shit is going to be as important in the films phase 4 onwards. They are turning away from making the phases be all films with maybe a shout out in AoS, rather a combination of films and Disney+ shit.

The trinity going forward is going to be Strange, Carol, and T'Challa. Throw in Scott, Hope, Wanda, and Vision and the New Avengers team does laps around the old Avengers team. Thor and Banner are probably on reserve, too.

I can't see how they'd possibly do it, but I'd love to see Pietro back. I partially expected them to bring back White Vision in EG, but that seems like a Disney+ thing now.

Then again, I have no idea how Pietro would fit in anymore. Everyone else has kind of moved on.
