Like he helps her out in the movie but refuses to ever forgive her?
that would be d
But he decided he wanted to be a rabbit’s bitch
D?
t would have been interesting if they kept the collars
Better movie. They just needed gonads and a PG-13 rating.
That would have been garbage and you fucking know it.
How so? Are you a Disney employee?
Trips of truth.
Read Beastars. It's zootopia done right.
The setting barely made sense even, by it’s own rules, as there is no discern able reason people would even stick around the city if they could be tazed at any time, and the very premise of it was so outlandish and childishly grim that any attempt to emotionally resonate with people would have fallen flatter than a layed-off Japanese Salaryman. It sounded more like a some amateur artist’s furry webcomic than an actual funded production.
It was really overthinking the setting
that WildeTimes themepark though
It honestly would have been better just to see Nick as the main character. Judy's cute and all, but she's boring as hell.
>They just needed gonads and a PG-13 rating.
and also to make a completely different movie than what they wanted.
Could easily be added in a sequel or other additional material. could be Nick's original dream when coming to Zootopia. But people already think that carney games are rigged, and a carnival run by a devious thieving, liar fox? No one would go.
the place was full of games where predators could unwind and do somewhat "savage" things like boop a bunny or roar as loud as possible.
it would undermine some "rules" set in the first movie, although Ralph Breaks the Internet did exactly that, so who knows?
And now it would be a regular theme park, but it failed because everyone thought Nick was stealing from them.
It's a hard question because as was said, it would have resulted in a COMPLETELY different movie entirely
That Zooptopia would have been bleak as shit, doing EVERYTHING differently than what we got. Could they have made it strong and emotionally resonate? Possibly. Audiences would have certainly had less affinity for it, I don't even know if Yea Forums would have liked what we got or if there'd be dozens of threads a day for months bitching about the politics
It would be interesting to see just to see the "what if" and the only way to know if it would be good would be the alternate reality where it was actually made. But I suspect I'd find what we got here to be the more enjoyed movie
spieceist
Sequel when
when Rich Moore will return to Disney
furfags want the original script that was all nick with no judy
What was Judy even apologizing for?
Judy has way more furfag follows than Nick ever could.
Starting a race war and denying the Baahlocaust
What race war? What apocalypse?
I think at this point a tv show is more likely then a new film
Don't you remember that 10 minute long scene of her lynching a bunch of wolves with a bunch of prey supremacists
... No?
Judy wasn't malicious nor wrong in her statements. There was a biological component.
Why didn't Bellwether just move to a vegan city?
That would honestly be better.
You have to remember her curbstomping that tiger cub then being dragged to prison and being raped by a big fat rhino woman right
Right and neo Tokyo was so grim that no one would live there.
Yes. D.
why are they so cute together?
If it's 2d, that could be nice. But I would still prefer a new movie by Josie Trinidad
>It would have been more interesting if he was in a coma the whole time and it was all a dream
Why Josie Trinidad?
nani
It would have been interesting if it was Silent Hill but with talking animals
This.
That would just be the perfect game. Night in the Woods only had Silent Hill dreams.
Night in the woods was such a letdown.
>there is no discern able reason people would even stick around the city if they could be tazed at any time
Immigrants
That would be too savage, and make him a dick.
>Zootopia: Hot Fuzz
>The dynamic bunny and fox duo solve crimes in Zootopia while trying to balance their personal lives.
No, it would have made an already hamfisted movie unbearable.
How is a society supposed to function if it tazes 50% of the population?
How is any sort of satisfying conclusion to the setting supposed to occur?
Because she seems to take the story seriously.
Nick gets summarily executed.
Immigrants are usually being tazed back at home anyways. They're just going to lighter tazing.
They totally would have made Bellwether into some kind of generic dictator villain in the original. With constant anti-pred campaigns to brainwash the citizens.
Would be unironic kino
She takes "white privilege" seriously. Fuck that.
in the original script the "secret" villain was a pig who was a Clinton parody.
Interesting? I suppose so if you want to go down the depressing "Some things we do can never be undone" route. But you sacrifice Nick's entire backstory by doing it.
Nick didn't forgive Judy simply because he's a good guy. At best, a person is half selfless and half self-interests (as it should be). Nick, more than anything else, longed to belong to something. You see it when he is tells his back story about the ranger scouts. You see it as he's helping Judy solve a mystery and getting compliments from her.
But you mostly see it see it when she actually invites him to be her partner in the police force (absolutely happy and hopeful) and on his face as he's walking away from her under the bridge which only lasts for a second until the camera cuts away to pic-related (absolutely miserable and hopeless).
Nick wanted a reason to come back and Judy gives it to him. It wasn't a matter of simply "I forgive you because that's the Disney way". It's more "Oh thank fucking god, because I'd be miserable going back as a lame Popsicle hustler after experiencing being a part of something as exciting as a cop".
Basically a post full of correct.
but didn't he walk out when she revealed she was getting an abortion?
All the more reason for her to make the sequel.
Because Judy is cute
I would've loved to see it just for how bizarre and off-beat it sounds. But there's no way they could've made it work as a normal formulaic family friendly movie where everything comes together perfectly, like the final movie turned out.
I'm amazed they kept that shock collars concept for so long. It was part of the movie for years, right until the last minute where they re-did everything. How did the Disney higher-ups not shut it down immediately?
So is Nick
I wish it can be a detective TV series to extend the world building of Zootopia, and discovering something new outside the city.
How could you ever not forgive such an adorable and sexy little bunny?
Yeah I don't know why people want the collars so much. They are very edgy. The movie as it is is more elegant, if still flawed.
>So literally nothing has changed.
It would have made for a darker and edgier movie, but not a better one. This is about as bad as the racism aspect of Pocahontas. The kind they have in the final product is better because it's a more grounded, realistic kind of racism we see every day. It gets the message across and does it in a way we might not have realized it existed at first. Hell, it's fascinating that the main character, despite her own efforts, does still have some racist prejudices and is forced to realize and overcome them.
THAT'S RACIST YOU CAN'T SAY THE C WORD DIE!
If he didn't forgive her he wouldn't be able to get close enough for mindblowing hatesex
Great image, thanks.
>japanese humor
They really bungled the translation of the dialogue, I hear.
Why must you make me want things I can never have?
I agree. Arby’s-addict Nick is the more interesting direction
Aborting the spawn of satan
You know the whole alternate movie is on YouTube right?
youtu.be
based and redpilled
hardly "whole" because it uses all the deleted scenes from various story versions
Are they a couple yet?
Technically no, but it’s the worst kept secret both in-universe and by those who worked with it
It would have been retarded if they kept the collars.
We all say things we regret. Nothing to ruin friendships over.
I think you mean "hot."
this girl gets it.
trips of verity
But how can Nick ever forgive her?
Read some Beastars.
One of the better mangas I have read in a while.
