why is it that captain america is the only solo movie in the MCU with no bad sequels?
Why is it that captain america is the only solo movie in the MCU with no bad sequels?
Cause the first was a solid 6/10?
I dunno, probably because the Captain America trilogy is the only trilogy where all three movies are good.
Reminder that this is the best superhero trilogy of all time and anyone who says otherwise frankly deserves a bullet
MCUzoomer please, its not even the best trilogy in capeshit
Civil War is more Avengers 2.5 than it is a Captain America movie.
Why does no one remember meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
This, and it was shit.
Iron Man 2 and 3 were not bad
Pretty much every capeshit series completely shits the bed by the time the 3rd movie comes out though.
X-Men, Dark Knight, Spiderman, Iron Man and then X-Men again all have mediocre to awful 3rd films. Stuff with good 3rd entries (Wolverine, Thor, Avengers) all have shitty films in either number 1 or 2 (or both).
Thor Ragnarok has no bad sequels.
This and it was terrible
I like Justin Hammer as much as you but his movie sucked
Civil War was complete garbage outside of the last 10 minutes which may just be some of the best writing in the MCU. It's extremely overhyped just because of muh character overload and the airport battle.
Similar to how Dr. Strange was totally mediocre outside of the bargain scene (and maybe Ancient One's death).
the mirror world scene was amazing too
because you're silly
Civil War was an Avengers movie, not a Cap movie.
Civil War was good from start to finish, whenever Cap's not sucking his great niece's tongue that is
Let me guess, you're one of those blind nolanfags?
Civil War was fucking great.
>beginning scene with Crossbones and Nu Avengers is great
>Black Panther was the best he's ever been
>Stairwell fight -> Black Panther fight -> road chase was insane
>Jail breakout thing was great
>Airport Fight was overrated, but interesting
>Cap vs Tony vs Bucky was fucking great
>Black Panther and Zemo scene was great
>good villain who didn't even need powers to pull his shit, and also won in the end
In some ways it almost is better than TWS, I don't get the recent contrarian hate for Civil War and most of it seems focused on Spidey, Sharon or the airport battle.
Just saying that over half of the points are action scenes. If they missed the mark for someone then there really isn't much to the movie for them.
Civil War was hot trash
I liked the other two though.
The writing overall was great besides that. I don't really see too many criticisms about Civil War that I can understand, other than certain cuts during fight scenes
>zemo wasn't a character
>his plan made no sense
>RDJ phones in his performance
>every character just shows up to fake fight
>spiderman was pointless (black panther was okay)
only good bits was the stairwell fight and Bucky/Steve friendship stuff
Honestly anyone who gives this movie higher than a C is a mental defective.
>plan made no sense
In what way?
>RDJ phones it in
Oh come now, do you really think that?
They didn't have much choice considering the actual Avengers 2 was so bad and pointless.
You mean Guardians of the Galaxy?
Winter Soldier > First Avenger > Civil War
Not really. The Avengers movies are all about the Avengers coming together to stop a singular threat. In Civil War, everything happened because of Cap. People either joined him by virtue of him being Captain goddamn America, or fought him because they knew he'd be too stubborn to hear them out. The main conflict centers around Cap and his actions directly affect everything in the movie. He is both the protagonist and the antagonist. It's definitely a Cap movie, not Avengers.
Ant-Man and the Wasp was solid
Its one of those movies that are funny to watch so it is naturally based
>This brainlet tier opinion again
>Civil War
>not bad
Not surprised that a board full of onions infused incels that suck up to the current Marvel comics status quo disliked Civil War.
I'd actually be concerned if I found myself agreeing with the collective of this diseased board.
