While I am optimistic about where the void can go I practically have zero expectations.
Like, the void may be more that we can assume from the snippets we've seen throughout the show. It could be some DC comics abstract concept tier corporeal entity but there is nothing in the show that suggest that. The void has been built so sparsely that anything done with it in the final will be new to see and it will most likely not contradict/retcon anything previously established.
