Bump
No one cares about this? This is fucking huge.
Those two make good shit
Wait, how does this deal work with Marvel? Are they doing it self-contained in a Sony Universe or tied to the MCU?
It's apparently supposed to be connected to their Spider-Man universe (starting with Venom).
>Sony's making Spider-Man cartoons again
Too bad that won't save Spectacular.
Based. These guys are golden. Too fucking bad Lord won't write Spider-Verse 2.
Guessing that other Black Cat movie got canned
On one hand, I hate Sony's commitment to doing a solo Spidercentric universe of movies. On the other, I hated Disney throwing away Lord and Miller when they had them and want them to succeed. I really liked Spider Verse so I'll be cautiously optimistic for this..
Is it though?
>Projects involving Spider-Man, Venom, Morbius, Black Cat and Silver Sable
Venom and Spiververse are locked.
The rest will end up in development hell.
We know it's coming. The only thing that matters is when the first trailer(s) drop.
What does this mean for Marvel Animation Spider-man?
The newest show is cancelled. They just need to finish airing the second half of the second season, and that's it.
the story of spiderverse is garbage.
Didn't you read my post ?
I don't watch modern cartoons anymore, there's too much a risk that characters you thought you knew will suddenly turn lesbians at the end
>DC still wins in cart-
cant wait
It will flop like dc shit like Shazam and Sony knows it.
Don't remind me!
Current Loeb-Wacker Marvel Animation era is dead, the guy who pitched the Captain Marvel cartoon did an interview about what a shitshow Marvel Animation was and how it shut down.

They do, this is Sony, Marvel Animation is fucking done.
>Spider-Verse Writers to Pen Multiple Sony Marvel TV series
So they are gonna be solid yet fairly generic stories?
Doesn't Disney own the Spider-Man TV rights?
Might have renegotiated to extend the MCU contract. That would also explain why Disney bailed on Marvel Spider-Man.
Get ready boys, Sony is taking Spiderman back and leaving him out of future marvel movies
They are just gonna tank their franchises
Nah. Sony sold the TV rights to Spidey in 2009. Sounds like they had to negotiate to get this done.
Silver Sable might get a comic?
I don't get this. Do they share the televsion rights?
