Thats what I hate about these movies, I want to see the interactions between street level crime with shit like surviving Chitauri or low level super villains. Imagine a crazy death cult in a post snap world who think they’re doing gods work cleansing the world of those who weren’t snapped. Or left over Chitauri and dark elves after the invasions integrating into gangs and becoming war chieftains in gang wars ala the beginning of predator 2
But thats more suited to cover in a show than a short cinematic 2hour story
They could’ve shown some of that in the snap aftermath, or hell the Netflix shows would’ve benefitted greatly from this. I’m slowly beginning to realize the MCU is the steven universe of movie franchises, so many good ideas that never get explored because of wasted potential.
It post snap/ pre fix world would have been perfect for a One Shot. I hate how marvel stopped doing those. Hell they could have done it for so many things in this film. Fat thor in new asgard, ronin dealing with emerging wave of street level crime, cap running his recovery group, hell thanos on his farm would be great
