Were you sad?

Were you sad?

Yes. The movie pulled at my heart strings at multiple scenes.

Sad that this exact same scene from IW now has no weight or purpose, yes.

>exact same scene
>IW: sacrifice tossed in
>EG: both wholeheartedly trying to stop the other from becoming the sacrifice.

I'll give you that exact same music was played, as if the soul stone has it own audible theme music.

>Thanos crying while murdering a resisting Gamora, a completely different scene in tone and purpose, is the same exact scene

But she is time-travel not dead

No

they have a time machine, they can get them back whenever they want

>Getting emotionally affected by a major blockbuster franchise killing off a character nobody cared about until now.

Not really.

The scene lost impact when I already know what to expect. When they arrive on the planet it's a forgone conclusion that one of them is going to die, and the fact that said arrival was then separated from the sacrifice by a good amount of movie while I've already mentally filed this moment as a thread to be resolved further robbed the scene of emotional weight.

dude it was a contest to kill themselves how nobody saw the humor in that is beyond me

Not really. They went to far on the "DO YOU FEEL SAD YET?" music, and dragged out the scene for too long with the 2 fighting over who gets to kill themselves for the cause. I thought it was funny actually. They could have accidentally killed eachother while trying to stop one another from sacrificing themselves.

great minds think alike

I’m so happy I’m not autistic

I WANT HER BACK DAMMIT

They weren't trying to kill themselves for the cause.
They were trying to kill themselves for each other.
If you don't understand how that changes the scene, then I don't know what else to say.

>The scene lost impact when I already know what to expect.
Don't you think that sounds a bit autistic?

No, I thought it was really funny they were literally fighting over who gets to kill themselves. Also thought this planet was one of the most dogshit parts of Infinity War, so bringing it all back wasn't great.

Either this is bait of such fine quality that it deserves praise, or your such a colossal moron that you deserve praise for simply living this long.

That LMD had a hard life.

Probably the most unexpected death in the whole film.
