Everyone laughed when 2014 Gamora didn't recognize Peter and attacked him... Did anyone else get really fucking sad? Replacing Gamora with a version of herself who never knew the Guardians is almost sadder than leaving her dead.

I felt like it was an out-of-place nutshot joke from 2002
But yeah, I don't really know how else to feel

It was pretty damn sad until you remember Quill fucked over the universe.

He led them to the only universe where they won.

I don't really care, why?

Because I damn well know the next movie she will be ok with them, we might get Gamora 2.0 still learning about the Original Gamora's stories with the guardians and her story with Quill, but it's going to be fine, I'm sure.

>whole scene about the Guardians mocking Quill and gushing over Thor
...
>fucks over the plan, makes the audience hate him
...
>"So he's an idiot then?"
...
>kicks his nuts
>"How could I ever fall in love with this... man?"

did Quill sleep with the Russos wives or something? what's with the vitriol

It's a bittersweet moment, sad because Peter loved her and missed her so much and funny since she just saw him as 'some weird dude'.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3
Korg & Miek join Thor on his adventures with the Guardians. They provide exposition for Beta Ray Bill because they knew him on Sakaar.
>Meet Beta Ray Bill who gets his upgrade from the High Evolutionary. He gives Rocket information on his back story. BRB is initially a rival or opponent of sorts but they end up joining forces against...
>Adam Warlock
>Thor & BRB team up against Adam Warlock.
>Battle takes place on Vormir because of the looking for Gamora subplot.
>The Vortex on Vormir is a portal into the Soul Realm which is also Valhalla. Just like the Vortex on Sakaar.. It's a portal.
>Adam Warlock takes Thor and BRB into the Soul Realm for some sort of advantage because he's more powerful there or some shit.
>Thor finds Loki, Odin, and his mom in Soul World.
>Thor makes a sacrifice or dies as he misses his family and doesnt mind joining them in Valhalla.
>Hemsworth last movie and gets a great heroes death and joins his family in Valhalla.
>NuGamora gets Real Gamoras soul either merged into her body or swapped.. Some how connected to Thor's death/ sacrifice. BRB brings her soul out with stormbreaker/ Bifrost powers.
>Quill gets his girl.
>BRB gets Stormbreaker and joins the Guardians as NuThor.

They need a butt monkey, I guess.

I didn't love it. Ant-Man got shit on a lot but at least he pulled his weight.

Almost ruined the climax desu.

At least he has Thor.

They would have won sooner.

will they?

Aside from fucking up the battle on Titan, Peter is a thieving asshole. He's done good for the universe, but don't forget that in general he acts like a dickhead to pretty much everyone

But Strange said there was only ONE timeline where they win.

Naw, Strange just wanted to fuck over Tony

Mantis will memory bomb her.

She's not a psychic

These.

Because there's not a single timeline in which Quill isn't a fucking moron.

She can pseudo-mind-read. They'll fudge it. It'll be fine.

This is another Thor's eye. It seems like it'll be a big thing but they'll have it straightened out in two scenes.

well then Strange should have sent his ass to the other side of the planet while Quill was jumping between portals

Yeah that didn't really hold up here.

For all that Thanos was supposed to be a super unbeatable, punches out Hulk without using the power of the stones badass in IW, Endgame made it look like if they'd just all gathered and ganged up on him he'd go down with minimal trouble.

That's the entire point. The Avengers lost in Infinity War because they were scattered, so they had to deal with the consequences. Naturally, once everyone was together they could beat him no problem

I want this to be true.
I want Beta Ray Bill.

Give me beta ray bill

So then why did Strange need to run this complex plot instead of just portaling everyone to Titan in IW and kill Thanos then without having to make everything go to shit for 5 years first.

They would have beat him sooner if Quill stuck to HIS OWN PLAN on Titan

I don't get the deal with why Strange didn't portal anyone on/off Titan during IW, but I assume it was already too late at that point because Thanos had four of the stones. If they removed people from Earth, the Black Order would get Vision's stone no problem. The only option going forwards was to eventually come to the conclusion that they should be collected in the past, because it was inevitable that Thanos had succeeded. I don't fucking know.

peter's a neckbeard who acts 10 years younger than he is and needs to grow up. he's a charming neckbeard, but still a neckbeard. expect gotg 3 to be about getting over not having a real dad/mom and all the mistakes he's made pre and post endgame

I'm running with the theory that the strictness of the successful futures was largely contingent on having to engineer a scenario where Thanos does the snap in the 5 second window where Scott would end up stranded in the Quantum Realm.

Again though, if all the heroes combined could just kill Thanos without having to reverse heist the stones, then why even bother with that in the first place and just port everyone to one spot and kill him in Infinity War so everyone walks away alive and untraumatized.

Because the previous post was under the assumption he has 0 stones. In the situation you see talking about he has several stones.

and now the next GOTG movie is going to be about aftermath with Gamora

It was so tragic it's funny moment. Pretty sure they'll use that as plot point for gotg3

>peter's a neckbeard who acts 10 years younger than he is and needs to grow up
That why we like him.
