Wally literally did nothing wrong. Why is he going to kill himself?
Wally literally did nothing wrong. Why is he going to kill himself?
because king secretly wants to kill himself and is using wally since he can't himself
I mean the guy defiled the corpses of his fellow boarders, framed two of the only survivors for his crimes and convinced them both that the other did it with the express purpose of getting them to hunt one another down to expose them (and personally sabotaged Booster's shields, which directly resulted in Harley almost murdering him), for the sake of giving himself five days to send a few emails, make a video, and plant a flower.
This is basically the equivalent of a guy reacting to hitting someone who randomly walked in the road with his car, and trying to solve this obvious accident by cutting the body up, throwing it in the incinerator, and framing his passenger for it.
Because untreated CIA Middle East PTSD
He tried to cover up an accident, planted evidence and attempted to frame two innocent people. That's plenty of wrong.
Wally has to kill himself because it satisfies King's trauma fetish.
That being said:
Why did he not explain himself to the JL instead of staging an elaborate murder mystery?
Why did he not travel back in time to stop himself from going nuclear?
>I mean the guy defiled the corpses of his fellow boarders
He moved the bodies, if even that. It's not like he fucked their corpses.
>framed two of the only survivors
Who gives a shit? Harley is a murderer already and Booster is just a loser.
Batman, Barry, Wonder Woman and Hal all did far far worse.
>He tried to cover up an accident, planted evidence and attempted to frame two innocent people. That's plenty wrong
Only in the legal sense.
>He moved the bodies, if even that.
He shoved a pair of chattering teeth down Citzen Steel's throat to frame Harley
>Who gives a shit?
Now you're just trolling lol.
Such as?
...wait, did King really copy Identity Crisis and just add sucide? Im glad i didnt bother reading this.
Someone said why didn't he go around the planet and murder all villains in those five days if he knew he was doomed and I've been thinking about that it's a fair point
Because King is a fucking cunt.
Because King and Didio are edgy hacks.
okay but why did he do it
Dead is dead.
>Why did he not explain himself to the JL instead of staging an elaborate murder mystery?
Because he's having a nervous breakdown.
Why didn't sane Wally stop crazed Wally?
You're the lucky one, user.
Because King made him do it.
He's a neurotic depressed fucking dumbass who's writing perfectly fine characters as neurotic depressed fucking dumbasses and then Didio gives him a cookie for it.
Barry alone killed millions with flashpoint.
Defiling bodies is defiling bodies.
Sweet, you got me on Barry. Who else?
Hal did genocide before it was retconned away like this will no doubt be.
I don't know why that guy mentioned Dana or Bruce though
Bruce has brother eye and letting joker kill hundreds
Diana has killed people in battle many times
Both Wally's are crazy, I think. Wally should have gone back in time to stop himself instead of going five days into the future to kill himself.
>muh Joker
If we're going by hypothetical deaths, pretty much every single hero is guilty of not being able to save everyone. It's the intent behind it that differentiates indifference from genocide.
Brother eye was an evil spy satellite that Bruce made that kidnapped criminals and used them as power sources or something, idk it's been a while. It's basically Ultron but less sexy if I remember right
The answer for everything in this is bad writing. The worst part about King is that he didn't even have the decency to take this character ruining garbage to an elseworld if he wanted to explore it
Defiling is you trying to play this up so you can whine about it.
And he directly acknowledged that it was a mistake and personally participated in its destruction.
I'm personally pretty amused by all the people going BUT HE FRAMED THEM AND RUINED BODIES, OMG. As if Booster or Harley are going to give a fuck once it's explained what happened since they were never suppose to be framed for more then a few days anyways or if the faking the body bits is some sort of huge moral crime compared to murder or what not.
Yeah and? Personally I don't really care that he did any of that, but you can still hold him capable of it if you want just like this shit with Wally instead of blaming it on bad writing and moving on
Quick survey: who actually thinks this is an irredeemable act? This is the worst thing Wally did and he did it during a nervous breakdown so I'm voting that it's not that big of a deal.
Nobody that isn't just trying to get mad about King
This. There are superheroes like Red Hood who actually go around killing people but Wally is ruined forever because he briefly went insane and faked a crime scene.
I blame King. Hope they ship his ass off to a padded cell and throw away the key.
Because that’s part of Red Hoods character you garbage excuse for a troll
>calling anyone a troll when you're just pissy about King and over reacting
This entire event was created just to prop up Barry and a fuck you to Johns.
>It's not like he fucked their corpses.
Or did he?
I mean a better writer can always just fix this and wave it away or make it some part of a Villians scheme, but until that happens yes at this point Wally is irredeemable.
Literally what everyone has been saying is Wally should have gone back and tried to prevent himself from committing Involuntary Manslaughter (which would be a more incharacter thin for him to do), instead of going back to cover up said crime which makes what he did far worse.
I mean, yeah. It's hard to even pretend it's anything but more DC streamlining. Which is incredibly weird because editorial keeps sending out mixed signals on how they feel about that.
>New 52 is over, Rebirth is back! Enjoy Titans!
>But Nightwing is redundant again for some reason, let's shoot him in the head and turn him into a dick!
>Barry and Wally are back and they remember and love each other!
>Wally has decided to go back to his home planet.
>Time to have him do something terribly creepy and cruel.
>Superman has a family and has a fun dynamic with his wife and son.
>TEIM 4 BENDIS
>Doomsday Clock is a serious continuation of the themes and spirit of Watchmen. You can read this on its own and appreciate it as a singular work of literature.
>Hey guys remember the JSA?!?!
I’m sorry for calling you out as a Troll, it clearly is far worse than being a complete and utter Moron which would be the only other explanation
Red Hood is an anti-hero, there's a difference
Because Tom Ling feels guilty over murdering Jawas
Is it? Like morally speaking that is?
I missed the storytime but eventually read up on the issue later. It was a little convoluted to say the least.
Correct me if I'm wrong please:
>Wally has some issues that aren't resolving.
>He decides to speed-hack(?) Sanctuary somehow and looks at everyone else's therapy videos within about 1 second.
>Information overload.
>His powers go crazy and kill everyone around him.
>He freaks out, and in about a second, he finds out Harley and Booster are still in their simulations so again speed-hacks(?) Sanctuary to set up 2 separate simulations in which both Harley and Booster are set up as the murderers and he messes with the bodies accordingly.
>To remove himself as a potential suspect, he goes 5 days in the future, kills his older self, mutilates his older body to look like both Booster and Harley killed him, and then returns his own body to the past to again set up Harley and Booster with the other bodies.
>He used to be in forensics and anticipating Batman's investigation, fucks with the whole crime scene to make it look convincing.
>???
>Profit.
So now present Wally intends to wait a couple days until he gets killed by himself?
What the fuck is Poison Ivy's involvement?
Why does 5 days in the future Wally want present Wally to go get a rose from somewhere?
Help me please. I only have 2 brain cells to rub together.
Are you mentally challenged? Yes there is a difference Anti-Hero means he’s more Morally Gray willing to kill to get things done... Wally is no Anti-Hero, he was just a plain hero
There was no thought put into it by King, aside from probably being a part of his manifesto when he himself snaps and goes on a rampage
Wally helped Resurrected Poison Ivy as an act of atonement.
>but how did he know how to do that?
Stable time loop.
>he's an anti-hero
That doesn't mean anything to the morality of killing.
Sanctuary as a concept is still completely fucking insane and is another project Batman should feel embarrassed about.
The lizard guy is using the therapy systems purely to be shot in the chest with a laser beam dozens of time, for fucks sake.
If all these idiots went to an actual therapist, they'd be much better off than having a robot just validate them no matter what they say.
King has clearly never gone to therapy or did any research on what actually happens
>The lizard guy is using the therapy systems purely to be shot in the chest with a laser beam dozens of time, for fucks sake.
You know the funny thing about that is that it was actually working, He was getting over his trauma.
