Any Yea Forums approved shows to get me used to hearing it?

Not a show but Italian Duck/Mickey Mouse comics

Calimero.

Geronimo Stilton and Street Football.
But really you could learn some useful language instead.

Kek learning a language takes years and years of hard dedication and the only way to be successful is to live in Italy and be surrounded by it 24/7. Watching a few episodes of Winx Club isn’t really going to do much for you. I’ve been watching anime in Japanese for almost 20 years and aside from a few common words and phrases, I can’t understand it.

>Italian
>Useless

Beavis & Butt-head Do America has a great Italian which in and of itself a feat when you translate Beavis & Butt-head.

I'm not planning on getting 100% fluent, just good enough to make up stuff on the spot, because I'm going on a trip to Italy.
>that's a waste of time most people know english just learn a few phrases
To that I say, fuck you, I like languages, and I'm probably going to be the only person on this trip who'll know any Italian. Also, I should probably add that I already know a lot of Spanish, so it's not like I'm going in with absolutely no knowledge of Romance grammar.

Learn Occitan like a boss.

>I'm going on a trip to Italy
Unless you've planned this trip a year or two in advance, it's kinda pointless.
If memory serves, Cybersix is italian and Yea Forums approved.

As others have said, learning italian is fucking pointless, unless you're into duck comics. French would benefit you way more from a Yea Forums perspective.

Stupid cunt

There's some new translation tech, you put a ear phone in yours and another persons ear and a app translate the langue,it's like $200.

Google Translate app already does it better.

Arn't their some good Italian anime dubs?

I am planning on learning French seriously later on, I just wanted to know some Italian to get by more comfortably than I probably would have.
The trip I'm going on is also going to Paris and Versailles, but I heard that since those are super tourist-y areas that you really don't need to know much French to get around, hence why I'm trying to focus on learning Italian more. Also, more of the trip is going to be in Italy.

I would recommend watching dubbed cartoons you already know, for starters.

I've learned to understand spoken english watching teen titans original. I'm still not good at this language, but at least know I can read AND understand when someone speaks to me.
In italy we have pretty good dubs, I would recomment first simpsons seasons.

Saint Seiya.

Adesso capisco come devono sentirsi i giapponesi...
Also +1 for duck comics.

What did he mean by this?

The best cartoon to practice a truckload of languages with dubs is unironically W.I.T.C.H.
>impeccable original English dialogue
>translation quality much higher than usual
>something like a dozen dubs available on DVD/DVDRip (though subs are much rarer)

The fact that it's also the best cartoon in general is just a gigantic bonus, in that you actually want to watch it over and over again.

How much are you being paid?

Are you retarded by any chance? Disney literally doesn't remember the show exists.
I fucking wish I were paid to promote it, though. I'd literally make it the #1 cartoon brand in the world.

>Implying you could beat out the known cartoon juggernauts without putting yourself on some backroom industry hit-list.
Glad to see that W.I.T.C.H.fag is still deranged as the Don Quixote.

If this were live action we were talking about, you might have had the tiniest grain of truth in your point.

Cartoons don't have anything even remotely approaching that level of industry power. Not even the "adult" (read: immature) ones.

How?
