Hi, I just watched 38 seconds of the trailer with no sound on, but I feel like I've gotten an idea of what it's about.
Is it about a posh, spoiled dog who, for one reason or another, finds himself seperated from his posh and spoiled life and has to fend for himself on the streets? Along the way he meets some scrappy street dog who shows him how to make it in the "real world". Eventually he learns something about how spoiled he is or how good he has it or whatever. Long story short, one fake-out betrayal later, he's reunited with mummy and the street dog get's his or her own happy ending as well.
Kids cheer, adults give the movie money and then complain about the movie they gave money to on the internet.
Am I close?

This, the deal with pit-bulls is the same as Chihuahuas. A lot of people who get these dogs do so for purposes that result in them being very aggressive and anti-social (dog-fighting/accessorizing).

I had a chi who was the sweetest fucking thing. She loved and immediately trusted everyone, especially if you were a larger/taller person for some reason. And I've met a lot of friendly pits as well, I wouldn't be rule out getting one for myself in the future.

All dog breeds are aggressive. I don't know if this is smooth brain logic that causes this, but Dogs, hold with me here, are animals. Pit-bulls are a recent fucking phenom too, it's not like they JUST were invented yesterday. German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Great Danes, all were for a period of eight to ten years the 'most dangerous dogs in America,' in fact Rottweilers are full on banned in many states to this day. The point being, any dog that's not properly trained and cared for is dangerous and can kill. The majority of Chihuahuas are a prime example of this. Because owners tend to keep the small dog in a personal space away from other dogs, people, and children, they'll be hyper defensive and aggressive towards outsiders in the small bubble that's been created. It's not a problem because if you haven't been bitten by a Chihuahua before, don't worry, you'll feel nothing from it. But the bigger the dog gets and the raising doesn't change, or you purposely aggravate it to be a 'guard dog' e.g. the 'Dangerous Dogs' listed before suddenly you have a poorly socialized dog that bites really fucking hard, and attacks 'without sense' or anyone that's not who it sees as the alpha.

If a Pitbull is aggressive to children and other dogs, you didn't fucking socialize it. Don't lie for inept trainers who took on a dog that takes a great deal of skill to raise properly and complain that it's such a problem breed. It's their fault, not the dogs. I took on a freebie for a close friend which I deeply regretted as he raised a Belgian Malinois by chaining it outside most of the day, it took almost two years of training and a couple mailings before the thing was able to be walked without incident.

I completely agree that it's the owners' fault and I have been bitten by dogs that were horribly cared for or chained as guard dogs, but pits' statistics are just disproportional. Other dogs displayed some body language before biting me, you could clearly see that they were aggressive. The pit that bit me was different, the owner was coming towards me on the street and I was walking with my mother in the opposite direction, I was just walking and talking quietly with my mom. Pit wasn't even looking at me then it snapped and jumped on me and wouldn't let go of my arm. That breed is specifically made to be aggressive, and the fact that breeds can be genetically more inclined towards aggression is a fact.

Lots of things can kill, user, no one is denying that. Hell, even a corgi or a chihuahua can kill if the stars align.
The argument has never, ever been that "oh pibbles are the only breed that will attack humans if not trained!"; everyone knows that an untrained or wild dog is dangerous.

The argument is, and always has been, that pit bulls are an inherently aggressive and violent breed, far in excess of even German Shepards, Rottweilers, etc.
That is, given some equivalent amount of training between a pitbull and another breed, the pitbull is going to be more agressive and violent than the other breed, resulting in a disproportionate amount of attacks.

By repeating the "oh pibbles was just raised wrong!", you are denying the fact that there is absolutely a genetic component. One that could be solved if there were a concerted effort to re-breed pit bulls.
Furthermore, saying that pitbulls just "need to be trained right" implies that a properly socialized pitbull could be put in a family home with other pets and children; this is dangerous.
