Make an actual reboot in an alternate universe like Jojo part 7 and 8 with a completelly new story.

Epilogues were good, I liked the part where Terezi and John fuck in his dads car.

Listen. Every single ship in existence has a fandom. Given that there's 50 billion characters, 4 weird alien quadrants somewhat open to interpretation... Therefore any time a ship that gets even a little bit of spotlight, all their shippers come out of the woods.

I don't like how his character became this sort of soapbox about toxic masculinity and societal definitions of gender and all that. I don't mind the gay but he went from funny rants about random bullshit to sounding a lot like kankri.

And I really don't buy the epilogue interpretation of Roxy wanting to be referred to as he. The only way that is at all plausible is Calliope's stupid influence since Calliope is literally literally tumblr the character.

This makes no sense, aren't all Daves identical with the only difference being luck changing a few decisions they made? How is possible that one Dave liked her while other Dave can't have feelings for her even trying?

Remember in the epilogue where John retcons and meets two of his past selves, the ones who were just learning about retcon bullshit?

I checked the archive of the original story. It wasn't changed. This never affected actual original homestuck.

I remember Hussie at some point using the term 'post-canon' in reference to things like the snapchats, ie the official fanfiction that started to get published after homestuck finished. The epilogue is official but not canon to the original story.

It does have its own canon, which is what I assume is being talked about whenever they talk about canon. But the events are sanctioned off from actual Homestuck, all of this is just superfluous bullshit. Official but not canon.

There was a line in the epilogue about arguing what is and isn't canon on message boards and I thought to myself "No, I'm over this stupid shit, I'm not going to do that."

And here I am.
