Hello Ladies and Gentle-Drakes it's time for another Disney Duck Story time! Why? Well because Why not I say?
Disney Duck Storytime
And Our First story tonight will be "The Old Castle's Secret"
And that's the end of it
This next one is called "Watching the Watchman", and i don't know how to fit any Watchmen jokes n here so I'll let you guys do it.
And for Once, Donald's Luck actually helps him
For our next story, you better pack your bags, but you can leave behind the sunscreen and shades because it's Donald Duck and the boys "In Darkest Africa"!
Making sure this stays up
Thanks user
You're welcome user. Thank you for the Bump
This next story will demonstrate why it takes someone with Donald's patience, or lack there of, to raise the Triplets. It's Donald Duck in "Spare the Rod"!
And the moral of the story is: always beat your kids>
Break out your ten Gallon Hats and leather boots for this next story, and lock up your Livestock, because we're going to the Wild West to rustle us some rustlers. It's Donald Duck in "Sheriff of Bullet Valley"!
Bump
Many thanks
And all's well that ends well, except for the bank, that doesn't end well for them but they're probably insured or something anyways
This Next story is a Rosa one, on the Importance of Education. It's Donald Duck in "Making the Grade"!
And here we see Daisy in her most unnatural of modes, that of an actually supportive person looking out for other's best interests, albeit with tough love.
Is that a Barks caricature in the 3rd panel?
This next one is a rarity, a Gyro Story. It's Gyro Gearloose in "The Pied Piper of Duckburg"!
Maybe? I'll be honest bud, I was never all too good with faces.
Well, at least the bin's more secure now.
Our Final story for the night, especially since we're getting to the point where the captchas are images that take 10 seconds just to fade, is Donald Duck in "The Money Pit"!
And that's the end of the story time. That's all folks, Thanks for coming, and have a wonderful night!
Thanks again user
Bump.
Before bed bump.
According to Rosa's foreword on hardbacked collection, this comic was inspired by comic book collectors/speculators buying comics and never taking them out of their plastic wrappings (thus never reading t hem) to preserve collectability value.
All the more reason why digital is the way of the future.
kek
lmao
i love how you can see this coming a mile away and yet rosa still manages to make it funny
Cheeky
Seeing Gyro without shoes is always weird because it just highlights how he’s just a bird head plastered on top of a human body.
What’s weirder is Rockerduck’s shoes in the new Ducktales
That just reminds of that intentional foot deformation the Chinese used to do.
>Tfw ducks have barbaric practices
It might just be the upper Nobby fops. Donald, the Triplet’s, Scrooge, and Gladstone all either go bareflipper, or have those weird foot cover thingies, and even Magica and Daisy have shoes that are wide enough to accommodate duck feet.
Classic payoff
RIP Scottie I guess
I liked this story best. Donald has the patience of a saint.
good thread OP
Is Scott or any of it’s derivatives/predecessors a common name among the Scottish?
bump
they are called spats
Yes, that is in fact barks.
Those look like they’d collect a lot of dust and dirt.
That actually seems to have been the original purpose.
Well, for what it's worth, "Scotty McDuck" is the name that Barks gave to Scrooge's father, as well, when he sketched out a duck family tree in the 1950s
Interesting things happened in the Mcduck family tree.
To be cleaning tools for lazy people? This sounds like an infomercial product.
It seems that shoes are mostly just a thing for female ducks.
