There are some really nice, really imaginative background paintings in this show. Some of the Fright Zone buildings and forest scenery have been cool.
Unfortunately, it has the effect of making the foreground animation look even shittier by comparison. I hope that the artists doing the background paintings are able to find work on other shows after this one gets cancelled.

First episode is awful, second episode can be grating, but is good, and the season mostly improves from there. You can really feel that it’s only half a season, though, it ends just as the plot was really starting to progress. There was one character that I thought was boring that become interesting, and two characters that I thought were likable or tolerable that became irritating, but the rest of the cast either had the same level of likability or improved.

Looks worse to me, too much makeup.

I used to wonder how Adora could be autistic enough not to realize the Horde was evil, but then I look at Scorpia.

This, I like the episodes but it is so obvious its just the first half of a season with a bunch of build up but no pay off. Next season will probably be really good, then a build up season followed by a climax season and on and on until the series is done.

Frosta used to be likable, and Swift Wind was tolerable. I originally thought Frosta was likable because I expected her to be a snarky, hot headed kid. But she ended up being a solemn, rule stickler of a child who was overcompensating to be taken seriously. I feel like I’m season 2, she was out of character, annoying and was acting a certain way to really hammer in parallels between her and Glimmer. Swift Wind was always kind of grating, but in the episode that focused on him, he was worse.

I'm very happy that spinossa and netarella are still key and essential characters to the story

I'm surprised about Swiftwind, but yeah, Frosta felt extremely out of character. I didn't hate the character, and I get that she's like 8, but I liked how, as another user put it, cold she was.

For me its the opposite, I hated Swiftwind in Season two and didn't care for Frosta but this season I kinda liked them

She's been ruling a kingdom since she was 8, I'm guessing she see's the Princess Alliance as an opportunity to act like a kid. But her personality in season 2 was very much at odds with her season 1 personality. It's not an unbelievable difference but, yeah, it would have been nice to have an episode to show us what caused this change.

Considering everyone else except Adora based their "plan" on what they wish would happen, that might just mean Bow would like them to have huge tits.
