Spider-Man PS4 has something which MCU Spider-Man lacks - sincerity. Both are full of humour and jokes, but the devs and writers at Insomniac clearly recognized when a joke would ruin the pathos of a scene.
Perfect example is how they handled Peter revealing his identity to Aunt May.
