The only interesting thing I took from this show is that in the latin dub the puppet is voiced by the same guy that voiced Captain Hero from drawn together. You can image how amusing that was.
For as prominent Fem Johnny was in the opening you would think it would be a recurring thing like super hero johnny. That being said I can't think in more that 5 plot where they could use that premise before getting tired.

Honestly make the animation all hand drawn and make the lighting and the in general quality of it like a 90s cartoon. Which would mean it would have a budget of 600,000+ per episode so my suggestion would go in the trash. Do we seriously not have a decent animation coloring studio in the west? Why do we have to send it to korea when it could just have it be done here?
