Tony literally kills himself for nothing. Wtf. Shit movie.

Magic man bad?
why couldn't he just wipe Thanos from the timeline?
How is it for nothing ?
>Captain America gets literally everything he ever wanted after a good ice-sleep while Tony suffers to death after a life of struggle
Civil War's attempt to make Cap the likable one (which actually exacerbated the problems with him if you paid attention) is now dead
Captain America is the worst superhero I have ever seen in my life
If he had the infinity stones couldn’t he have just wiped thanos out and have saved himself as well?
True. The stones could have modified the timeline. They way they did it was weird
Wasn’t Tony Stark actually the catalyst of all this?
Either way Tony Stark’s had a hard life.
Tony actually got some years of happiness.
>Captain America is the worst superhero I have ever seen in my life
That's a stupid thing to say. Cap didn't compromise himself, someone isn't going to force himself out of happiness and reject an opportunity for the the sole sake of the Hero needing to suffer.
why didn't they just go to a timeline were everything were fine, kill their counterparts and live happy?
So what exactly made this the one timeline where they could've succeeded? Why didn't Strange just cut Thanos' arm off on Titan like he did to the big brute guy earlier in the movie, or use the Time Stone during the fight? What reason was there for Strange to allow the events of Infinity War's ending to occur at all?
Will that explains the crossover event in Fortnite tomorrow
Why didn't they use time travel already in IW?
Now that I've seen the movie can soneone tell me what the leaks were? And apparently Paltrow spoiled sonething at the red carpet, what was it?
Talking about the clip?
It was them building the tunnel
Professor Hulk
Drunk Thor with Korg and Miek
Cap lifting mjolnir
Ready Player One battle scene
Spidey talking to Marvel
Was there just snippets if it or the entire scenes?
>Gamora and Nebula's character arcs are reset
>GOTGv3 will just be rehashing them
>oh and Thor is in it too because fuck you
WOW I SURE AM GLAD GOTG CROSSED OVER WITH THE EARTH BULLSHIT
Now that there is a villain Loki running around with the Tesseract again expect him to appear in that movie too.
>GOTGv3 becomes Thor featuring the guardians
Based, expect Thorse to appear too.
Holy shit I hated how doe eyed and inexperienced Spidey was. Everything else was cool though. I actually didn't mind Marvel that much.
They only intended to undo the Snap, for that to be possible a Snap needs to happen first. And even then, they didn't know about the Quantum Realm before Scott came round.
holy shit they are still alive
Is Thor still fat at the end?
>Gamora and Nebula's character arcs are reset
explain
The whole Kill Mode spidersuit scene was great though
Does Mantis get to do anything?
Because this isn't Rick and Morty.
She appears like for 1 min during the whole movie
OG Gamora is dead. But there is a pre-Guardians but still Thanos-hating Gamora around. Nebula wasn't reset, though?
rats
>nothing
He used it to kill Thanos, based as fuck
How does kill mode work?
thanks
kinda sucks, though
>Korg playing fortnite while getting cursed at by a kid called noobmaster69
How does a gladiator become this
So is it time travel or alternate dimension travel
Alternate dimension time travel. Ancient One warns them about it when they go for the Time Stone and Bruce also talks about it in the end of the movie.
I thought old nebula killed modern nebula? this movie was stupid
Other way around. 2023 Nebula murdered 2014 Nebula quick and easy, then coached 2014 Gamora on how to be a good guy the rest of the movie.
Just made the extra arms fight automatically and with lethal aim
he's wearing armor so you can't tell. but can assume he is as i doubt asgardian genetics are good enough to drop all that weight in a matter of days
Yes.
By how Ant-Man explains the quantum realm and how Tony approaches it to make it work, it's clearly time travel. But by the end of the movie it worked more like they were going timelines. Or rather, different timelines is the only way to make sense of it before the time paradoxes break the story for you.
He is tho. You can see it on the armor as well. It's less than when he's wearing loose clothes, sure, but fat he is. It's great, pretty brave of them to have some of their best eye candy in a fatsuit the whole time.
Well that'll explain away the inevitable x-men and fantastic 4
SHAZAM! 2 looking promising
Thank you VERY MUCH
their best eye candy just got even better thanks to the fatsuit
Does this creative team just hate Vision? In "Age of Ultron" he stole the movie, then Russo/Markus/McFeely get a hold of him, drain most of his characterization, depower him for an entire Avengers movie and then don't even bring him back even though they spent half the other movie explaining how he could be brought back.
They seem to like Wanda in the little amount of screen time she gets (a lot more than Vision gets, anyway)
I know Feige probably moved his return to the streaming series once that got greenlit, but this crew acts like they're trying to create a sizzle reel to show Wanda how lame her boyfriend is so she'll date them instead.
to anyone who already watched the movie i got question
at the end during ironmans funeral, who was this blackhaired teenager standing solo, i think he was showed after hawkeye and his family
Tony's wife's son from that reality.
Kid from IM 3 propably
Harley, the kid from Iron Man 3
I think that after characters get to a certain power level the creative team just gives up
>Vision obliterated
>Thor reset to pre Ragnarok levels
>Bypassed Thanos with the stones
Except for Captain Marvel of course
I do wonder if they had the disney+ series planned before shooting the movie, because it very clearly sets them all up. Like Loki fucking off with the Tesseract feels like something that was added later on once they realized that could lead into a show.
I know faggots are complaining about Steve's send off in the movies, but I think it works perfectly fine. If, and it's a big if, Chris Evans wanted to, they could always come up with some bullshit comic book reason to make him young again for the final movies. IMO all the movies that follow this are going feel superfluous I think. This universe doesn't feel like it really needs any continuation.
Using the stones would have killed him
Cap fuckin with the timeline probably would have killed him and everyone who knew from a paradox.
He had no realistic choice.
Well, except turning them over to Carol.
And fuck that.
Christ, this shit is 10/10, please don't spoil yourselves guys
Astounding how they make absolutely not the slightest effort NOT to make her completely hateful.
Paul Bettany was in Atlanta during the Avengers 4 shooting period, and it wasn't just Avengers 3 reshoots.
I have to assume that they were going to rebuild Vision in Avengers 4 and then they realized they could make it a spinoff instead.
Holy shit, he sprouted, didn't he?
Wanda's pretty powerful though and they usually throw in one "OH SHIT SHE IS SO POWERFUL" moment per film.
I guess she benefits from the fact that there still aren't that many powerful women in the MCU so she has to get something. Robot Racism is still a thing so there is no outcry to represent powerful robots in cinema.
It's been 6 years in real time, 10 in-universe, it's only natural
There is nothing in it that make her heatable. I think you might have issues.
yeah but Wanda can't control her powers for jack shit.
Remember what the Ancient One said about tampering with timelines. They would end up dying in vain trying get their loved ones back. This allowed the minimum level of sacrifices required to restore the known universe without abuse of magic as only two of them had to give up their lives vs countless of others.
The Ancient One also said that the infinity stones create the flow of time but Thanos destroyed the stones and nothing bad happened. Time travel is stupid and will never work.
My fellow Australians.
Tell me how does this rank with the other Marvel movies?
Is it better or worse than Iron Man 1?
What about Civil Bore?
Is the Loki TV show going to be about 2012 Loki running around with the tesseract?
How will the Avengers go and amend that?
I know why they couldn't tamper with the timeline further during restoration, what I mean is why Strange didn't go ham on Thanos in IW. There were many ways he could've killed or disarmed him before the snap.
I thought the answer was going to be that somehow Thanos himself would be integral to getting the universe back, and that killing him before the snap would actually be a bad idea. Otherwise I just don't see why Strange didn't rip his arm off when he was subdued.
It really bothers me how Peter doesn't care about his secret identity.
here. I'm both slightly disappointed and impressed. I think I slightly preferred Infinity War, so second place overall for me.
>Tony dies with Peter crying at his feet, with Rhodey and Pepper at his side, hammering in the stupid surrogate son shit even harder
Just when I think I'm past the notmuh phase, they do something to rile me up again.
So it's at best the 6th or 7th best MCU movie.
Nice to know.
So if I watch this I'm done, right?
No more mediocre capeshit.
Don't forget: you're here forever.
user. Carol is absurdly OP, especially by the standards of the MCU; and it is power she "earned" by shooting a space ship engine in a rage. She makes no effort to come across even slightly human or the least bit likable. To the contrary, she is consistently a snarky bitch.
She was pushed up our collective assholes and I don't understand why. It certainly will not help the next phase of the MCU, if such a thing can be said to exist.
>critics eating this shit up
did they introduce any new characters or something?Do they kill kill Thanos? who are all the permakills?
He had to be the Uncle Ben for Peter. With Great Power means Great Responsibilty and Tony demonstrates that
You can still watch Shazam and the rest of the DCEU.
All least they didn’t do the with ‘Great Power comes great responsibility’ speech.
if you enjoy MCU it's 10/10
Man I honestly hope with every fiber of my being that DC figures it out and gives us a Darkseid story on this scale, but they can't even get their big two right.
basically nothing mattered and it was all bullshit because time travel
Is there a way Iron Man/Tony Stark can be canonically brought back to the mcu? If theres no Tony Stark as Iron Man I'm out. Thanks guys
themanwhowascuckedtodeath.jpg
It's the fucking Infinity gauntlet which makes you a god plus they leave it open so he can come back when RDJ wants to and they find out the general audiences doesn't give much of a shit about Avengers without the original six involved
Time stone doesn't keep time in check, it lets the user manipulate it. The Infinity Stones are just the byproduct of the universe being made.
>establish that Thor can overload Ironman's armor in Avengers 1
>they actually use it offensively in Endgame
movie is 10/10 in my book niggas
Parker is good with just handing over the most dangerous weapon in the universe to a stranger?
>did they introduce any new characters or something?
Only Carol and fuck her.
>Do they kill kill Thanos?
Twice.
>who are all the permakills?
Natasha, Tony, Steve (sort of) and all of the bad guys.
Every last one of them.
because you're an easily impressed trend obsessed dumb fuck
>Being this autistic
And I am autistic, so, goddamn, kid, you really are fucking autistic.
No.
She did just fuck up Thanos' ship by flying through it (which is her signature move).
>stop enjoying things reee
I actually liked that more than Spider-man's usual origin story, even though said origin story is technically canon in the MCU.
Having Stark contextualize the quote through his actions was a pretty neat way to set Peter down his solo path. He died by the mentality
I hope I will never become a jaded, cynical, shriveled old husk like you.
It's unlikely but...They're fucking comic book movies. You never know with this shit.
His contract is up but even years down the line he's still young enough to play the role, considering most of the physicality is all performed through CGI.
There is one, but you won't like it.
They can do Teen Tony.
So shes potentially more dangerous than thanos and hands her a personal nuke? I just don't get it
>did they introduce any new characters or something?
Pepper potts becomes Rescue and has a daughter with Tony who is obviously going to fill her dad's shoes one day
>Do they kill kill Thanos?
Twice. First Thor beheads the original timeline Thanos, then Thanos from a past timeline manages to slip into the OT but gets snapped by Tony.
>who are all the permakills?
OT Gamora remains dead, but pre-GotG Gamora came to the OT along with her dad
Hawkeye has to sacrifice Black Widow to get the soulstone and she, like OT Gamora, cannot come back thanks to soulstone magic
Tony snaps Thanos and dies as a result of being too weak to handle the power
Captain America gets to travel back in time to right after he got iced so he can live together with Peggy, for the rest of his days. He does appear as an old man, but will likely be dead ASAP
The movie pretends Vision will remain dead. He won't, but it deserves to be mentioned.
>"Scott, you got this."
>" You are right. I do, Captain America"
Best boy
So can they bring Stark back? I think its retarded killing him before they bring it all the x men and F4
>Thor gives throne of Asgard to Valkyrie even though Thor’s arc was about being a leader
>abandons being king and goes with the GOTG
It’s fine if you want to put YAASS Queen in your movie but basically making someone’s arc ruined because of it is actually making me seeth
using the stones is what killed him
but there was no reason strange didn't just revert time with tony as a specific target to heal him
Won't put it past Gunn to just not have Thor in GotG vol. 3 especially since Hemsworth just doesn't want to continue being Thor unless Taika is involved.
Not going to be based, Gunn would fucking ridicule him if he's forced to use a character he didn't want to use and the state Thor is right now it's an easy thing to do.
She's on their side.
>So can they bring Stark back?
No. Not after this.
Like being a king of a bunch of fishermen requires a God of Thunder. Hell, I am amazed that crazy woman said 'yes'.
Captain America’s arc was about being the man out of time in an America he no longer recognises.
Abandons his duty to be with his past girlfriend.
At least Tony’s ending was fitting in the context of Iron Man 1.
Well... since multiple timelines exist now, wonder if there's a chance all the ded characters will still live on but shown in an alternate universe? Like with the Black Widow movie, is that a prequel or a separate universe from the original timelie? Hell is ScarJo even coming back for it?
there is only one timeline, cap was peggy husband the whole time and she was pretending to be retarded when she met young cap
>hey kid, want to /ss/?
If they wanted to yeah, hell even have old Steve cameo in future shit.
I think Widow is only perma dead unless they decided to do some soul stone shit with Adam Warlock.
no because RDJ wants nothing to do with it
>Abandoning his duty
He COMPLETED his duty. Captain America was an outcast in case you'd forgotten. There was no place for him in the present anymore.
>spoiler
Nothing my ass, he saved everyone, there were too many of them
I have so much mixed feelings with what they did to Cap. He's a character whose arc consisted of learning to accept his situation in the future and to learn to move on past his tragedy to the point that he ended up adjusting and accepting his life in the future. To see him go back kind spits on that and also the bittersweet part of his life. Not to mention
There's also the fact that Steve didn't like SHIELD and how it operated even before he knew about HYDRA, Peggy was the founder and Director of SHIELD and we all know that is a position that requires you to be a pretty shady and sometimes amoral SOB. Wasn't Zola hired to work for SHIELD under her tenure? How could Steve be OK with all of this even if he knows the outcome.
Not to mention how would Peggy feel if she knew that Steve knew SHIELD was compromised by HYDRA all this time and he never told her just for the sake of the timeline (and don't tell me about the scene where the past doesn't affect the future shit because it's clear Steve didn't do shit or else he would have ended in another timeline).
Also his involvement with Sharon makes the thing with Peggy weird.
you are so wrong
It's kind of funny how Kamen Rider Build, Last years Kamen Rider series, literally has the exact same plot as Endgame, but manages to keep it from getting as convoluted and inconsistent with it's narrative.
>Also his involvement with Sharon makes the thing with Peggy weird.
on his defense, he didn't knew, at the time
the literally make a big deal of cap going back to the exact moment each of them took the stones/old thor hammer so that everything continued as intended
>Nothing my ass, he saved everyone, there were too many of them
Captain Marvel could solo Thanos and his entire army.
it was a different time
He will once he notices most people nowadays still don't give a shit about him outside his Tony Stark persona. He already tried branching out of Marvel with the Judge (the whole reason why that movie was made was becaus eof his popularity) and it flopped.
Same with Evans trying his hand at directing, no one gave a shit, which is why he's playing it safe by staying with Marvel and directing some of their Disney+ shows.
> He had to be the Uncle Ben for Peter.
Uncle Ben still exist in the MCU and they confirmed he will get mentioned more in Far Far from home. If anything Peter lost 2 father figures in the MCU.
>he kissed his great niece
It's such a non issue that it's nto even worth crying about. I don't know why faggots are getting so worked up over it.
>strange already experimented with an apple to the point of making it putrid and back to full
>writers make thanos use the time stone to remake vision showing they are aware of the implication of a "time stone"
>multiple other examples of the stone being used on specific thing
>strange didn't save tony with it
BULL FUCKING SHIT, this is why I hate live actions, characters married with their actors and their contracts
God, Scott's first 2 minutes on screen in this movie were a billion times better than the entirety of Ant Man & The Wasp, what a shitshow that was
He knew that she was related to Peggy when he kissed her and when he made the decision to go back to Peggy.
Also imagine how awkward it's going to be when an older Peggy comes in holding a baby and tells him "Hey Steve! Look at our new baby grandniece, her name is Sharon. She's so cute! Don't you just want to kiss her?" and then she and Michael insists on him holding her.
None of that matters when he's loaded up on Disney cash over the last decade and is reaching his 60s. He can retire peacefully while giving no fucks about anything else.
Does nebula like like stark?
It's an issue when the writer were even saying they were planning to have them be in a serious relationship and were going about how they fucked in between Civil War and Infinity War.
So at what year does the movie "end"? Does it still end in the future where everyone's back? How the hell is Spiderman gonna work and why is everyone still the same age?
>Thanos is harder to crack than a goddamn infinity stone and everything he’s ever built, judging from Wanda’s powers
This nigga been eating his veggies
Did you missed the part where the Ancient One says they created a new timeline?
He was loaded before he wanted to do The Judge and most of his social media is full of Marvel shit even the stuff he isn't obligated to promote.
>cap face when
>Captain Marvel could solo Thanos
Clearly she couldn't, since Thanos bitch-slapped her who knows where.
It's still future, yes. All the people that got snapped are the same age as when they died because timey wimey bullshit. Peter Parker described it as fainting, then waking back up and hearing it's suddenly 5 years later.
Is anyone else uncomfortable with the fact that Captain America would have been alive when Bucky killed Stark’s parents and have known about the event?
could have swear she mean time period, guess I download the camrip once its out and rewatch that part
Reminder that Cap literally is complicit in every atrocity that occurs from the point he returns to the point he left.
GUESS WHO LET 9/11 HAPPEN
Yes, because he genuinely loved playing Tony and being in the MCU.
>Clearly she couldn't, since Thanos bitch-slapped her who knows where.
With the Infinity Gauntlet, which Iron Man now had. All he had to do was fly away while Carol murdered Thanos and his entire army.
The only time Thanos has the upper hand against Captain Marvel is with the stones.
nigga he could have go to save bucky the moment he got there
probably enjoying being a spoilerfag, the sick fuck, watching peggy reaction to the tv while anything big happened like 9/11
>All he had to do was fly away while Carol murdered Thanos and his entire army.
a tad unrealistic.
>that one gurl powur scene
Oh man I can't wait to see all the butthurt on here
the world needs those atrocities, different people were born and died in response to them, who is he to play god?
Did you miss the part literally one second later when Banner says that when the good guys win they just need to return the stones with everyone none the wiser therefore preventing a separate timeline?
Only with the power stone, that's the only one he used to get the upper hand on her, without it they were more or less on the same level.
Doesn't that throw the whole "sync up with real world time" bullshit out the window then now that there's a permanent 5 year gap between movie continuity and irl?
Also the whole europe trip shit pushing through after all that is fucked, wonder how they're gonna explain it in the movie
I feel like they actually set this up so they could bring Cap back if necessary
>life of struggle
He was a fucking billionaire playboy for most of his life
Thanos without the Infinity Gauntlet is no match for Carol.
>who is he to play god
You tell me? He went back in time to fuck the girl he wanted. This is something only a person with the power of god is allowed. He did something no other person would ever be allowed to do, and is against the natural laws. He's played God already, so allowing these crimes is hypocrisy
Why does being happy make Cap the bad guy? He suffered way more before he got happiness
Did they really make some gay character or just bait as usual?
nigga all carol had to do was fly up, she already came from space, or better, panther or hawkeye could have asked any monk to open a portal to earth and just escape the battlefield with it
>boring Thanos
>making Thor a hobo and outright sidelining him off
>shoving Thor to GotG3
>Vision?
>time travel and 5 years later took too much time
>Captain Marvel literally and still an uninteresting addition
what a shitty finale. how can they trip so bad at the finish line.. I'm done w/ Marvel and the MCU after Endgame me thinks.
He was probably coming inside Peggy while some Hydra freak was coming inside Bucky.
fucking tony or thor can beat his ass without the gauntlet, he's not that big shit in the MCU, hell tony managed to scratch him in IW and he was using the stones he had at the moment
He considered Tony the role that saved his career, and I wouldn't put it past him going to the Far From Home premiere or whatever they do in the future that's Avengers related. He also said he could play the role forever unless people didn't want him back.
That said I don't think Marvel will want him back unless the movies suddenly start performing really badly and they want a reason to interest audiences again but I suspect by that time another decade might have passed and they would be on their way to rebooting.
But make no mistake that RDJ IS the face of Marvel and a lot of people stuck mostly because of him.
I missed it because it never happened.
The Ancient One says she can't compromise her newly created timeline by giving him the stone, because they would be defenseless.
Then Bruce swear he will bring them back to her, and she gave up when he mentions Strange.
But more importantly, did you missed the first minutes of the movie where Banner and Nebula literally explain that the past can't be changed?
how do I attain this level of natty?
One guy Cap talks to for 30 seconds and has no bearing on the story
She says that taking away the stone is what would cause a separate timeline and bringing it back would prevent that.
>fucking tony or thor can beat his ass without the gauntlet
Exactly. Wanda was kicking his ass. Why did Tony need to kill himself then?
During the support group reunion an OC character played by the Russos just makes a mention of having a boyfriend who got dusted.
That's it. I don't know why people who are excited for gay Hercules are even excited in the first place since for Disney gay is not having a guy in a relationship with a woman or them giving a few lines that can easily be erased or changed by China and gay hating countries.
oh this is sad
That explanes the Rocket Raccoon scene.
Tony, despite it being the family business, was an arms dealer before he became a hero, and even then it started out more a vanity project until New York. Dying a true hero is a fitting end for him; he's even leaving behind a daughter, and perhaps more importantly has been made the MCU Spidey's dead 'uncle'. Every time Spidey saves soemone or defeats a villain, for the next decade or so of movies, it will be as Stark's living legacy. That's not bad at all.
Steve however has fought just as hard, but ultimately, he was never going to be happy in the modern world. He really just got to go back where he came from. He'll almost certainly fought baddies for the rest of his life, in secret. He isn't the type to retire.
baby hitler paradox duh......
>Cap returning the stones
FUCKING BULLSHIT
They destroyed the receptacles of the stones
They're going to make Peter into the next Iron man, after Sony takes back the movie rights.
Did you miss the part where she did what Cap couldn't do. Stand up to Thanos pushing her down and him unable to headbutt her. She could obviously solo him
No you are pulling this out of your ass.
She says she can't risk her reality for his, to think they made it pretty clear and simple, since it is literally a movie made for children.
Or do you think the Loki that escaped wouldn't change our reality otherwise?
tony killed himself to remove the whole army, not just thanos
also he was too close to get the stones and do another snap, and cap/thor/carol just got send flying away, he did it because he was left alone with him and the armor was already damaged
shit like this is still valid tho
The in-story explanation is that Dr. Strange told him it was the only way to win. Basically if anyone else had tried anything else, Thanos would've won. Only Tony's sacrifice at that one moment could save everyone.
The real-world explanation is that RDJ helped ensure the success of the entire franchise, and they wanted to give him a proper send off.
>most of the pathos and investment in characters and stories over years undone via time-travel and reality-altering shenanigans in a single sitting so the next cycle can start anew
just like in the comics, desu
wow, she stood a few seconds more than Steve against Thanos, clearly she could have also beaten him easily.
Yeah, she can't risk her reality for that because taking away the stone would make it split so she'd live in a separate one where she doesn't have it.
Things that happen in the past can't change the future. The future always stays the same. It's still one timeline.
Thanos also gets away with a fucking shitton with the amazing powers of “he’s big tough and strong” but then again, the creative team have the luxury of getting him snapped by the end of this movie
cap serum gives him super strenght but don't get too hot, he can't even beat a non angry hulk, and movie carol is basically a walking infinit stone, still the punch from one was enoug to send her flying
I concur
but no one but gamora and loki got a reset, everyone not snapped still lived through those 5 years, and everyone snapped was just on basically cryo sleep
everyone that died not from the snapping remains dead
Litterally every MCU faggot virgin in the world.
The only reason their was a struggle was because Thanos was literally trying to put the gauntlet on while she was trying to wriggle it off. And they explicitly made it so the light show is the gauntlet’s energies blasting he wielded, so in a sense she had help FROM the gauntlet weakening Thanos while grappling one arm. Fuck, at the start of the movie she got off an alpha strike on a very weak, gauntletless, DONE Thanos and went for the grapple-and after having nothing left to fight for he STILL flings her off until War Machine, Hulkbuster and Thor jump on
Cap Fungus is up there, no disputing that. But damn if she ain’t a bargain bin Stormbreaker. You want to talk about people who actually won their 1v1s with Thanos, you talk about Wanda
Wasn't the major reason he went back in time was to make sure the Timeline was okay with no MAJOR altercations? Also be honest you want 9/11 to be a thing so you can have a reason to hate muslims
H A I L H Y D R A
>cue montage of Cap avoiding Hydra for decades by pretending to be a plainclothes agent, just hanging out and getting drinks with low level Hydra agents after work. Discretely offering them asylum for information
>yfw this happened
The absolute fucking madmen
To be fair, Loki’s even more of a joke than Thor currently is at this point
Captain Falcon being teased at the end makes me really hyped for the Disney+ show
>iron man 1
>now that was a good movie
>*sips*
Is Hull really that irrelevant that he can just get offscreen character development. Also Professor Hulk sucks, I want Rage Hulk back.
Not so much make but reveal in an extremely subversive and clever manner.
>Thanos: I am inevitable...
>Tony: I... am gay.
The Russos are amazing.
>she was pretending to be retarded when she met young cap
Actually I think she really had Alzheimer's so she forgot about their married life together which makes it even more tragic.
If it was anyone but Anthony Mackie I probably wouldn't be interested, but it is so
So now that they I snapped everyone, is half the world's population just 5 years ahead of the other?
Why are all of Peter Parker's classmates still in the same class in the new Spiderman movie then?
Wouldn't it just totally fuck with anything? And are they gonna address it at all on future movies?
I have mixed feelings about this movie. Although i loved the final part, really loved, I found most of the film quite boring and uselessly decompressed.
The end of the trip is good, but to get there ... it could have been done better. IMHO
What did he post
I forgot to include spoiler tags.
Tony calling Fat Thor 'Lebowski'
Any pictures of Jarvis? I'm super happy to hear that Agent Carter got some acknowledgment for once
winter soldier peggy was very ok, and that's not how it works till it gets really fucking bad, the whole house was probably set up where old cap hide all the pictures that included him
t. had a grandma with alzheimer
I really didn't expect this. Considering he was one of the best marvel poster boys.
Me too, user.
need him holding a monster now
Good. Fuck rich people they should all suffer.
>Thor's a boomer now
Based.
Since they never mentioned who got dusted, its easy enough to say everyone Peter knew got dusted. Doesn't fuck with anything.
Out of all of the sometimes gross over the top famsrrvice, I did like was Happy’s one or two lines to Tony’s daughter.
>you know your father liked cheeseburgers
>I’ll get you all the cheeseburgers you ever want
Incredibly cheesy but actual felt a little cathartic.
Does Kraglin appear?
Can't they just have Bruce make that prototype time machine he made near the beginning, that turned Scott into a kid, to have Steve be back to his prime?
>Hey man make love, not war
Critics will just call Darkseid a Thanos ripoff so they better wait at least a decade before they start this but knowing DC they'll fuck it all up and not listen to me..
Apparently, he’s in the credits but I don’t remember seeing him in the movie, probably in the background somewhere
>the shitshow that was iron man 3
>finally get him and rescue fighting back to back for 2 nanoseconds at the start of the army fight
>dies
I wasn't butthurt but it did look silly. Nothing wrong with it in principle but it was too-on the nose.
What will they say about the movie?
can anyone dump the whole plot on me?
All I can remember from the random leaks days ago were that they find thanos, kill him but nothing happens and then antman arrives and they time travel
Am I seeing things or was both Iron Patriot and War Machine in the final battle. Or was that Rescue and I was just bleary eyed?
It would have been fine if it was only a few of the female heroes. Having every possible female hero in one shot felt a bit forced.
Is there any version of Thor in the MCU that isn't based?
>Redeemed Chad in Thor 1
>Hero Chad in Thor 2
>Funny Chad in Thor 3
>Boomer Titan Murderer
Who gives a fuck?
Sean Gunn is Rocket's stand-in
Nothing wrong with being objectively correct in calling it something that’s incredibly on the nose pandering. An actual strong willed woman would be correctly offended by it.
That's pretty much it. Except that Thanos gets killed twice
The spoilers on Yea Forums turned out to be 90% correct so you can just read those.
Especially Gamora
Is this the first time a mcu character from the tv show crossed to the movies
Paltrow being shoved right in front was the most disgusting part of it. It felt exactly like it would be something she demanded.
>So, Jay, what did you think of Avengers Endgame?
>It was alright. I never want to see another super hero movie, though.
>Yes. This entire genre has run its course. We've reached the "Endgame" so to speak.
>*sad trombone*
You got it backwards. He was in IM2 first.
Yeah, which means given the new timeline, crippled agent got cucked by Cap.
Exactly this. I was fine with it, and I'm okay with pushing for more representation or whatever. But that did take me out of the movie for a few seconds.
That was Rescue, not sure if WM’s armor was supposed to be an Iron Patriot reference
Diversity for the sake of diversity or to fit a quota is dumb.
He's referring to Jarvis, the driver.
>something she demanded
Really? She doesn’t strike me that type. Hell, she wanted out of MCU after IM3 remember?
Did Mantis even get to do anything in the fight?
Paltrow comes across as incredibly narcissistic, she’s shit.
Lack of diversity for the sake of avoiding diversity is much dumber, however.
Agreed.
Hope she chokes on GOOP
Come on... I am genuinely sorry for Carol.
No, not really.
Mackie himself said he didn't like the idea because it felt like a hands me down and Falcon WAS Sam's identity. Maybe at some point they convinced him with all that money.
Also it fits for it to be Sam in the MCU, there is no one who Steve trusts more than Sam.
Which begs the question, how bad did Steve cucked Sousa.
Damn I thought that was a heavily made up Paul Bettany.
She got to kick names & take ass. Also pose. So yeah she did nothing. Probably made some aliens sleep or whatever.
Yes but it makes sense because Feige and the Russos worked on Agent Carter.
she's somewhat legitimately insane and deep into pseudoscience bullshit, i wouldn't put it past her that she can throw tantrums to be the focus of the girl power bit
>Paltrow being shoved right in front was the most disgusting part of it.
It was about fucking time, you dumb twat. They have been working towards this for years.
Weirdly, I rather liked it.
Yyyyeahhh... it is. It's one tier dumber.
What happened to Past Gamorra and Present Nebula? They disappeared after the climax and weren’t in the ending at all.
What about Bucky? He seems like a good fit for Cap.
Was Fury in the final battle?
Present Nebula was with the Guardians. Gamora ran away.
Are you really so dumb and reactionary that you believe the only alternative is "lol just do da opposite"? Fucking numbnuts. There's always a less cynical and less dishonest and less patronizing way they can handle diversity; one that's not akin to jingling some fucking car keys in front of your face.
Arguably doesn't want to force his childhood friend into his shadows. Let him live his own life and to his own choices.
So, wait... Thor is now a GotG character?
Only if they went with the "Bucky needs something to live for" angle Brubaker gave him. But MCU Bucky post-Winter Soldier isn't exactly the same person Steve remembered and I think at that point Steve was closer to Sam.
Present Nebula was on the ship with Quill Thor and the others. I'm assuming Gamora was there too, but I cant remember.
A brainwashed former assassin of the Soviet Union is a better choice for Captain America than a black dude?
Nah, cause Quill was looking for her on his computer when Thor took over.
Bucky's gonna be the White Wolf now.
>our super special last minute edition to the team can singlehandedly save the entire universe, AND you're not allowed to not like her =^)
This is why the MCU is ending
Wasn't old Gamora snapped?
No. He was at the buffet at Starks funeral though. Didn't even say a word to Captain Marvel.
She was barely in the movie which I find amusing
Also it's pretty obvious that Bucky knew Steve was up to something. I thought it was a nice touch that Steve understood this as well with his
>everything's going to be okay, Buck
line.
Apologize.
No, she was murdered for the Soul stone
IW-Gamora got sacrificed for the soul stone
she's not coming back from that
I'm sorry that Iron Man 3 exists.
umf
And 2014 Gamora was snapped
Do you think Thanos got to her body while it was still warm?
Suprised he didnt go full Hulk for the final battle, but I guess that's not really how it works anymore. Was expecting something of a 'smash' scene.
He joins them in the end, yes
No, YOU apologize!
You were the only reason I came to these movies.
That's what the time stone was REALLY for
She wasn't snapped. She was just missing. Peter was searching for her at the end.
That's just what it means being a 'strong woman' nowadays.
give the man a fucking rest
Did I miss something or shouldn't this guy now be 5 years older than Peter?
No more smashing for Hulk. Only science now.
He got snapped
Why didn't Thanos just pull out his cock and fuck Steve's mouth?
Dusted. The easiest explanation.
Russos said he didn't
This is a problem when you make Thanos look like a weak bitch that can be defeated easily when he doesn't have the gauntlet. He should've been strong in everything from magic to pure physical prowess so that killing him with the Gauntlet was an understandable sacrifice.
It didn't just kill him, it also dusted his massive army.
Thanos fanboys are worse the Carol fans.
The final scene made it seem like they were having a heartfelt reunion, but from their perspective (if BOTH were snapped) then they saw each other a few hours before.
user, no one can be worse than tumblr fags.
You've never been so tight with your bro that a few hours apart feels like an eternity? I feel sorry for you.
Except they'd know about the time skip.
Ned last saw his best friend go fight some alien donut ship. People have hugged over less.
Nuff said, true believer!
Where was SHIELD, USAF, National Guard, Police etc when a spaceship appeared outside of Avengers HQ?
They fuck?
Except It makes sense. This is villain of your big crossover event. Nothing will be taken away if Thanos was extremely strong because he's going to lose anyway since the Gauntlet exists. It'll only add to his defeat.
>To Amazing Alan
>Has an S on his chest
Dicking around off screen apparently.
but isnt that kinda gay, user-kun
Asian kid is so fucking fat and soft he might as well be a grill.
They were all in therapy for Mega-PTSD
Does Hulk lose his arm and if so does it stay gone?
Maybe? I figure Gunn is going to shit on him though. He was adamant about not wanting Avengers also Hemsworth only has interest in working with taika now that his contract expired plus Tessa said Taika was pushing for a Thor 4.
Maybe at the beginning of GotG vol. 3 we'll learn they ditched Thor for being annoying or something along those lines.
Makes me wonder if Gunn will repeat the romance. He did say Infinity Wars changed the outcome of what he had planned for a certain relationship in vol. 3. Also Gamora took a long ass time to even entertain the idea of letting herself fall for Peter. Maybe with Thanos out of the equation and Nebula being a good sister she can open herself up more but also she doesn't know Peter Quill and him being insistent that they fall in love with each other might turn her off.
I dunno, I guess it depends on how Gunn will play their relationship. I know he likes subverting romance tropes in some of his movies but sometimes he also lets the guy get the girl in the end.
Nah.
His arm gets burnt & shriveled from using the gauntlet but its still there.
He'll just remove Thor from the equation. Like how Kraglin was nowhere near Infinity War.
>Present Nebula
I read that as President Nebula.
They spoilers mentioned he loses it but didn’t look like that at the end, his arm is in a sling instead.
Quill was looking at a map with gamorra’s name in the end. I’m guessing GotG3 will be the search for Gamorra (the real one).
gets damaged from doing the first snap, you can see he stll has it at the funeral
will probably just regenerate over time from the burns
Or it'll be the Thor and Kraglin bro-show.
the real one is dead, theplot with pass gamora is basically going to be fast and furious 6
Antman rising out of the rubble and punching one of the space whales in the face was pretty hype.
Wouldn’t it be kind of awkward for Cap to return the Soulstone to Red Skull?
that would ahve been a fun postcredit
and wait shouldn't redskull/the temple/whatever return natasha?
Well at least they remembered Hulk can regenerate
>if you don't rat me out I don't speak to peggy about her nephew
I still don't get why Old Steve didn't tell Fury that Shield was infiltrated by Hydra
They killed him off because he’s the most expensive, and doesn’t do a movie unless the rest of the cast is paid well too. Did you really think they’d keep him in?
dead huh? well, im not suffering the replacement that is in the comics.
smell ya later MCU.
>Hey remember when we turned to dust and died?
>Aww man that was crazy.
Far From Home will only work if the entire debate team got dusted.
Isn't it an A-Force shout out?
Yes. But shush and allow the easily rustled incels have their outrage -- they have such little else in life.
maybe in future movies
>Hulks arm is hurt
Why won't his gamma radiation heal himself from the gauntlet wound?
In your opinion, was the wait worth it?
So the MCU shows are actually canon?
>Won't put it past Gunn to just not have Thor in GotG vol. 3 especially since Hemsworth just doesn't want to continue being Thor unless Taika is involved.
To be fair Taika's Thor and Gunn's Guardians aren't that different.
Agent Carter was the one show that the Russos and Feige had any real involvement in.
Well yeah but it seems like the big-brother MCU films are like a few steps away from even acknowledging the shows. I'm assuming that connecting multiple sources of stories for the sake of continuity would be a fucking mess for them.
THIS MOVIE IS SO BAD HOLY ANUS BALLS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
He didn't tell Peggy either by the looks of it and that in a way is fucked up, especially if she knew, she would be immensely pissed at him.
I'm dumb, someone explain this to me. Each member had enough pym particles to get to the past and back. Nebula went back, and 2014 Nebula came back, so how did she manage to bring 2014 Thanos and his ship in? Did they just reserve engineer the pym particles or something?
Like I get that 2014 Nebula started the machine for them, but they still need particles to move them into the future, right?
Only Season 1 of Agent Carter since Feige and the Russos worked on it.
wait aren't they writing a Black Widow movie? So they're just going to recast then right?
>cap gets literally everything he’s ever wanted
>Tony dies when he’s on the cusp of happiness
Why do the Russo’s hate Tony so much?
It’s probably just going to be a flashback movie exploring her origin
The humor feels different and again if Thor wasn't in Gunn's script he won't use him or at best he'll be a barely there character.
its a "origin story" doens't change the death useless they reveal she knows a way of faking a very high drop to a space entity
Isn't Loki in another timeline though?
I'm guessing they wanted to give him a sacrificial sendoff and cementing him as the most important hero ever. Cap if anything was just an afterthought with them doing what they thought a lot of fans wanted based on some shitty theories.
Even the way they handled Cap's character arc in Winter Soldier and Civil War is kind of bland and they seemed more interested in other characters going by interviews.
The only ones that seemed to be very into Steve were Markus and Mcfeely and they are comic fans who have been writing Cap since First Avenger. But still with them and the Russos and Feige involved is kind of hard to gauge which one of them did what.
So will Tony get perma killed in the comics soon?
I'm going with no.
Post yfw "on your left"
Is Quicksilver perma dead in the comics?
>perma killed in the comics
user, come on. He's not Uncle Ben.
Just got back, thought it was good not great.
I liked how Thor becomes an alcoholic and becomes a fat bastard ala Spiderverse, and Captain America being worthy was some kino tier shit
However the first act dragged something awful and meandered about with its head up its ass for so long without getting to the fucking point, and of course the old critique of Captain Marvel showing up only when it suits her and not everyone else
I have a feeling I'm gonna enjoy Detective Pikachu and Godzilla 2 more, and I haven't been waiting a year for either of those
I know there was no post credit scene, but what was with the metallic banging noise that was playing during the logo splash?
That third act was some heavy fucking fanservice.
Ironman forging his original suit, in the cave, from IM1.
the entire third act was so much fun to watch
The only thing I liked about the first act was RDJ going full 80s druggie while he's recovering.
This is the main issue with time travel. Characters that usually do time travel are people that can't stop themselves from preventing stuff that's going to happen. It's usually one of the main reasons why they travelled in the first place.
When they get the extra Pym particles they get 4 vials assuming they only need 2 to get back if they go from 1970 directly to the present day that leaves 2 spares which could be used to bring Thanos over
>Could feel my ass becoming numb on the seats and was checking my watch consistently for the first 2 acts
>Act 3 rolls in and I'm totally engrossed
I think they knew they had to go all out in the very end but Infinity War was way more cleverly paced and tactful, I was never bored and self conscious on the scale I was during Endgame.
That being said it was truly the end the franchise deserved, shame it has to drag the first 2 hours with it
Can anyone explain why there needed to be [spoilers]a five year timeskip?
I think it's so unnecessary and contributes nothing to the series other than showing that Iron Man had a daughter. It fucks up the timeline for Spider-man and the rest of movies in general. They either should have reset the timeline or kept the timeskip to a year at max.[/spoiler]
So, who could be the next big baddie going on forward?
I actually didn't mind the first two hours being pure character interaction and time travel shenanigans. Gave us some time to really see everyone have a relationship before giving them a send-off.
Considering how anything X-Men related was used during most of the MCU reign he might as well be.
This movie really cemented the fact that Scott is the best boy of the MCU
That must have been some real good irony for him.
Was Cassie snapped?
Probably KANG. It usually happens when somebody messes with time travel. It also calls back to the fact that the Ancient One always said that stopping one threat usually replaces it with another one.
Nope
DOOM
I dig it
she beat the shit out of the villain in IM3. It didn't come out of nowhere.
Singaporean here.
Infinity War will remain to be the best MCU movie. Endgame ties with Avengers 2012 for second place. I had some minor gripes with the movie, but when understanding the context, it works perfectly. My only gripe was Thor becoming a boomer, even though it was plausible, but him getting Mjolnir as a means to sue two hammers on Thanos made him better. I hope time with the Guardians will get him back to being the Thor we all know and love
They can probably hand wave that by saying you can just willingly return the stone if you want.
Australian here. I actually like Civil War. Endgame is alright. I think the first two acts lasts longer than necessary and I dislike some of the character choices at the end. I got my money's worth in my head.
How the fuck are they going to bring Stark back? That death looked fucking final, provided they don't do some resurrection shit. I can see Steve coming back though. Him aging is exactly what happened in the comcis, and then Steve got deaged. At least Cap didn't die, and Chris Evans will always be Cap for me.
So that the next Antman movie will have Scott's daughter join in on the action and hopefully tries to steal her dad's affection off from Hope.
Also maybe have Miles be of age sooner.
I also like how he kind of just collapsed at the end. I was hoping he'd have a dramatic "NOOOO MY KEIKAKU" moment, but this was somehow much better because you really got the sense of how defeated he was.
>Chad BoomerThor
>Virgin ChadThor
Prove me wrong
TIME TRAVEL
>TIME TRAVEL
Doesn't affect the timeline where he died in though. Same how Loki is still dead. The Loki that got away is the one getting a series but that's in the unsnapped timeline.
Bruh, have you watched Zi-O? I'd say Heisei Generations Forever has all the problems of Endgame. But both had similar finales that were great
>*cracks open beer*
>*sips*
Now Asgard, that was a planet.
>tony is dead
finally I can stop watching these movies. please don't bring him back.
We pull him forward from another timeline. There's a 2014 timeline that doesn't need him seeing as their Thanos is dead.
>People struggling with depression say that "just bee yourself" isn't good advice
>Thor just bees himself out of depression over the course of this movie
What now, Millennials?
They really had him do the middle finger snap after all.
I think Strange believed that Tony had to sacrifice himself. Him beckoning to Tony to get the gauntlet was part of that.
>I'm committed to doing something I don't even enjoy because of autism, but YOU guys are the real losers.
Same, Tony was always my favorite.
Interesting. They could do that with a few people actually. I mean shouldn't Quicksilver be alive in that timeline too?
No need to make Ultron, really
This. And honestly, I don't mind it. If Endgame was meant to be RDJ's last MCU movie, it works perfectly. And a part of me is more interested in seeing Chris return to the role.
He is such a good dude, the Avengers were even wearing ant suits.
What's RDJ gonna do next, a new Sherlock Holmes?
In theory, yes. In fact, we're gonna get Marvel Flashpoint before DC Flashpoint if they need to.
So much for that stupid as hell rumor of Killmonger coming back.
I like the idea of SamCap - it works better in the MCU than it did in the comics, and Sam is technically a tag team with Buck now. Plus they can easily bring Steve back if Chris ever wants that Marvel money again
Probably just wait for next avengers movie to revive him or live a quiet happy life with his wife and kids. I love the man but he really can't do anything but Tony Stark. Hell, his Sherlock Holmes was just a victorian Tony Stark.
Technically speaking that's probably how we're getting F4 and X-Men. Especially the latter.
Both of their endings were garbage, but switch them (Steve sacrifices self, Tony retires to be with family) and it would be perfect. What were the Russos thinking?
I thought Hemsworth didn't want to play Thor any longer? I could have sworn Thor, Tony, and Steve would either die or retire in Endgame because Evans, Hemsworth, and RDJ no longer wanted to extend their contract with Marvel. It's strange to think only Tony died. Thor ended up with the Defenders. While only Steve is close to dying due to old age
Tony's ending was fine. Steve's was meh, but I guess real life writes the plot.
His Sherlock Holmes was way more autism than Tony. So there was some differences.
But really not my type of Sherlock Holmes either
I think Hemsworth changed his mind about playing Thor after they made him fun in Thor 3 and Infinity War
Hemsworth didn't want to do anymore after Ragnarok prior to doing Ragnarok. Then Taika did Ragnarok and everyone sucked their dicks for it that he wanted to do more with Taika. GotG3 under Taika and Gunn would be stupid enough to work.
They can just recast him if need be. Of all the actors he's the one they could replace the easiest.
Aw shit I forgot about that part!
>GotG3 is part Space Opera and part Mockumentary like What we do in the Shadows.
I could see it, I mean that's what the first issue of DNA run boiled down to.
They're setting up Stature. Its gonna happen. I feel sorry for the kid who played Cassie previously: all her MCU hopes are dashed now
Maestro I'm guessing desu.
Oh speaking of that. Think they are gonna make Clint's daughter "Kate Bishop"?
Is Oldman Steve the OT Steve we know these past films, or is this Oldman Steve an alt-timeline Steve who has hooked up with this universe's Peggy?
Only sad part is him not using any ants. The Russos must hate ants.
Everyone's talking about Boomer Thor but nobody's really bummed about the mark85? Basically hardly got to see it and it didn't really appear to be any different from the mark50 other than the design and the helmet coming down.
Also it's not even the same Thanos timeline wise so we didn't get any scenes of him having to face Stark again with better tech, that was something I was looking forward to.
I guess the mark85 wasn't made out of vibranium then either like everyone said it might've been.
No Banner as the Hulk rematch against the big guy is the real crime here.
Hemsworth enjoyed being Thor thanks to Ragnarok and Infinity War. His portrayal in Endgame is a stepdown but its still in line with the happy fun Thor Hemsworth likes. Even whe he hands Asgard to valkyrie and joins the Guardians, he's still "Thor". Thor will still be an integral part of the MCU
Steve only got old. That happened in the comcis, and considering that Chris is still young, this was the best way to send off Cap, and yet, keep open the possibility that Chris could come back anytime he wants to.
I'm okay with Tonys death. It is sad, and I will miss him, but RDJ is not getting younger. It was the best send off to RDJ Iron Man
F
I doubt it. Clint's daughter did not magically get older. The Hawkeye series with Bishop seems more like an excuse to give Renner the Hawkeye solo he always wanted
Yeah. She's actually the only part I liked in Ant Man and the Wasp. Her scenes with Rudd felt genuine.
Have they cast anyone as Bishop yet? I know the chick from 13 Reasons Why got cast in this movie, and people assumed it was her, but I don't remember seeing her anywhere.
question
why didn't they use the time stone to bring tony back the way thanos brought vision back?
>His portrayal in Endgame is a stepdown but its still in line with the happy fun Thor Hemsworth likes
Fuck Hemsworth seriously, Thor can be funny but I am not okay with him being a goofy frat boy in place of a fantastical, layered character.
Are you stupid? It's the one we've been following since the beginning, just older.
I think Strange is of the opinion that, in the cosmic scheme of things, Tony had to die
Meta reason: RDJ doesn't want to renew his Iron Man contract.
In universe reason: Same reason why they can't bring people who sacrificed themselves to the soul stone, you can't reverse the damage done by using all infinity stones, same reason why Thanos and Hulk got permanently fucked up by using them.
Look. You got "proper" Thor in Thor 1 & 2 and Avengers 2012 and few people liked him other than his bod. They were going to kill Thor but then Waititi turned up and introduced a new take on Thor with a callback to classic Kirby. I'd rather see more Hemsworth Thor if it means more teams up with Waititi. Endgame already had enough death with both Natasha and Tony, and Steve getting old didn't help. I'm happy we at least still have Thor and Hulk. And also War Machine
the cosmic scheme of things had the form of a contract by chance?
RDJ's already reaching 60. He's not getting any younger.
Probably cause it'd just have him relive his death? Think about it, if you're turning his time back, then the time stone would move over to his hand again, as otherwise they'd have 2 time stones.
Hes not gonna be getting much older, either.
I say ten years before the drugs finally catch up to him.
Hollywood takes years to make movies. By the time you get Tony to be in another movie, RDJ could be 70. And its not like he's playing a passive role like SMJ as Nick Fury.
I guess I'm more prepared to see RDJ Iron Man die then Steve because RDJ is expensive and while he was the defining character of the MCU, he kind of did steal the show in every main movie he was in. Its like how Queen will always be defined by Freddie Mercury, but Queen still soldiered on as a band after Freddie's death
DUDE TACOS LOL, I LOVE TACOOOOOOOOOOOOS AND INVADER ZIM XD
Hey. HEY
FUCK YOU. Invader ZIm is awesome and superior to Spongeshit Shitinpants
I missed him.
Does Iron Man by Black Sabbath play at any point in the movie? At least the guitar riff?
WHY THE FUCK DID THE MEDIA MAKE CAPTAIN MARVEL OUT TO BE THE KEY TO ALL THIS? WHY DID I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH THAT SHIT FILM IF SHE DOES FUCK ALL IN THIS ONE, SHES COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT IN THIS FILM WHAT THE FUCK YOU MARVEL CUNTS
They were probably planning to bring Taika to direct guardians when James got the boot. Dunno what they are going to do now that he's back though.
Carol cant even beat Yamcha, user
We'll get Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy and White Titties' Asgardians of the Galaxy
all that and you cunts want to convince me this is not an alternate timeline?
Trying to think which actor got fucked over the worst in this two-parter:
- Jeremy Renner, left completely out of part one, and isn't even allowed to sacrifice himself in part two, which at least would have made people remember him
- Paul Bettany, for reasons previously stated
Rudd was left out of one of the parts entirely, but he has its own franchise so it's not as bad.
And I'm honestly wondering if part of the reason for giving Black Widow a movie was just so they would be able to get "permission" to do what they did to her in Endgame. Imagine if she goes out like that and that's the last we ever see of her - the thinkpieces, oh God the thinkpieces.
>WHY DID I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH THAT SHIT FILM IF SHE DOES FUCK ALL IN THIS ONE
Because a fool and his money are soon parted.
So is Thor part of the Starlord gang now?
You mean Starlord is part of the Thor gang
I seriously thought he was gonna kick their asses again in the lift but we end up getting a fanservice and I am unusually okay with this.
Poor Jeremy Renner got screwed over in the franchise as a whole.
Worked really hard to get into character for The Avengers only to end up mind controlled through the whole thing.
Only appearance outside Avengers films was small cameo in Thor, whereas Widow got to play sidekick in Iron Man 2 and Winter Soldier.
Only one of the Six Original Avengers to not appear in Infinity War.
And now with the upcoming Widow movie, the only one of the Six Original Avengers to not get a solo film.
movie was a bit too long, time traveling got old fast
didnt like how nebula was used in the plot
shut up drax
He carried AoU as far as I'm concerned.
Hence why he deserved so much better.
Also not happy with how pop culture treats Hawkeye as a joke Avenger while Black Widow gets a pass when they're essentially the same tier.
He should've taken a chance, now it made him a douchebag for letting all those people die when Hydra revealed themselves to the world and he probably could've saved Coulson from dying in the first movie if he gotten more involved.
They still get paid though, no one is getting fucked over.
Kang.
They're probably going to revive Widow on the end credits for her movie anyways. It's either a clone or magic being involved.
honestly if they let him go full ronin with the precision fingernail guns shit he's above black widow tier
Hawkeye was also stun-locking Vision in Civil War (in-universe explanation for why Vision did so little in the airport fight despite being so powerful was that he was constantly getting paralyzed by electricity arrows for most of it); doubt that Natasha could do that
I think they did Hawkeye alright in Endgame, his arc with his family and nat was one of the emotional cores of the story that actually came off somewhat strong, in this overwhelmingly Cap and Iron Man show.
Love Scott, saved everyone with the power of theft!
and he embodies the spirit of tokusatsu
Unironically, i really liked when he went full viking at the end
>that braided beard
Fucking sick
People will cheer for this movie but shit on Last Jedi, isn't that terrible?
>mfw giggling like a retard at boomer thor
the worse part is the funny bit comes from something completely separate from the movie
Last Jedi deserves it
Thats so gay holy fuck
I loved the entire planning bit. I'm a sucker for heist movies. That and any film that has a "putting a team together" bit
>Scott saves the Avengers that were the most mean to him from the rubble.
Now that's a hero
fuck you are right, truly the best boy.
Because he has no genitals. He removed them himself as a gesture to 'no reproduction'.
Why'd you think he adopted so many kids?
...this could actually be canon.
>I hated how doe eyed and inexperienced Spidey was
Are you an idiot?
>Thanos look like a weak bitch
He was the strongest creature in the universe. He beat the Hulk.
Well, except for Carol, but she is So Awesome.
God.
The MCU is dead.
Why were they so fucking mean to him? It got to the point where I was just getting pissed at them for it. They should have been sucking his balls
You mean the 'Loki Escapes' timeline?
All for it. It suits his character to a tee to escape even the end of the MCU.
>It's not dumb because I like it
So is main timeline Loki still dead? What about Heimdall?
Yes
Who knows, Scott has that effect on people which they want to bully him until he wins them over with charisma, even the Pyms were like that. Also, probably Rhodey was still salty about that airport fight.
>Saves Tony's life, as predicted months ago
>Aids in killing Thanos the first time, although that was pointless
>Destroys Sanctuary
>Arguably buys Tony the time to recover enough for the critical final assault
She does some stuff, but honestly, she was not necessary.
Tony could have created devices to recycle air and food for longer than 21 days. With alien tech and nanomachines at his disposal? And three weeks to work?
He would have made it to Earth - later, months later, and looking like Hell, but that would have only added to the drama.
But they killed Thanos' past self which means the orginal snap should never have happened.
I'm more upsed that she no-sold Thanos' headbutt right after Thanos KO'd Thor with a headbutt.
>movie explicitly states they were running out even after tony bought them more time by fiddling with the scraps
>b-but he definitely would have made it!
I mean he still kinda is in terms of setting a bar for strength. Nobody has been able to straight up beat him even when its 5v1
Honestly it would have been better if the main characters had a big team up moment where they all did their thing and held thanos off just long enough.
Play the theme song during and have tony finish the assault.
People loved TLJ at the beginning too. Really though, is this TLJ of the MCU?
No one loved TLJ at the beginning. No one outside of Johnson and idiot reviewers did. And those idiot reviewers are still sucking it's dick.
It's not TLJ tier but after the hype has worn off the cracks will start to show
It could introduce the comics plot of the Red Room having backup spare clones of their agents. Or just introduce another Widow as a replacement.
>Cap gets literally everything he wanted after a good ice-sleep.
>Undergoes experimental and incredibly painful procedure with nothing but hope of the outcome.
>Commits himself to constant warfare to save humanity against Hydra.
>Gives up guaranteed Agent Carter pussy to save the Eastern Seaboard of the US.
>Somehow survives cryo-sleep to wake up alienated to everything from technology, society, geography, history and anyone he's ever known and loved.
>Find out your best mate (who you thought dead) is fucked in the head, but he would never turn his back on you, so you return the favour. All your new mates are actually the enemy. When you send them to bed without dinner, you are dismissed of the one duty you've ever known and soon after labelled a vigilante.
>Send your best mate to rehab. Go on the run.
>Fight an alien. Lose. Lose your best mate and some other people.
>5 years later lose some more mates, even one that you had a love/hate relationship with.
>Get the chance to go back and enjoy an actual lifetime after fixing literally everything.
He's fuckin earned it.
There is nothing alternate dimension about it. Same loop. Same continuity.
Rhodey was probably still salty about Civil War, Nebula is just an asshole.
>same continuity
Wrong. They clearly created different timelines in the movie, as stated by the characters themselves multiple times.
THAT is what I have a problem with. He could not create something that breaks down CO2 back into oxygen? In a spaceship? I would be completely astounded if spaceships don't come with that, standard.
Reconstitute water from urine and water in the atmosphere?
Humans don't starve to death in three weeks, and it's absurd that Nebula's ship would not have supplies on board, or would be incapable of reaching some space port using a jump point.
That is a peeve, not a breaking point; it was of course done solely to build up Captain Marvel again. But it's pissing on Tony as a brilliant engineer.
Yup. But that would not have bolstered Captain Marvel.
God. So bad. So bad.
>People loved TLJ at the beginning too.
Absolutely not.
I left the theatre knowing I had seen my last Star Wars movie.
>and it's absurd that Nebula's ship would not have supplies on board
She's a robot, bro.
So is there a post credits scene?
There is actually none. This is the end of an era (I was actually hoping to see tibits of how Steven fix each time point, though).
>Still no picture with the Timeline
Is this correct?
Surprisingly no. Not even a hint about Far From Home.
>thanos dies in the main timeline the movie takes place in
>still beats the avengers in the other 14 million dr strange saw
in the end, did thanos really lose?
Nope.
imagine if they showed a hint of humans mutating or something, people would've lost their shit
Why didn't Tony just telepor-ah fuck it it already happened.
Nick Fury was at the funeral at the end. So was Peter Parker and Fore-Head of Security.
But in the SM:FFH trailer Fury says "So nice to finally meet you, Spider-Man".
no that dosent make sense since nebuler is still alive even tho she killed her younnger self so she should not exist in that timeline
You forgot Wanda, who could have literally murdered him if Thanos didn't have his ships assist. Even in infinity war, she was already able to keep him contained with just her blasts when he had 5 stones that were working, while Carol just prevented him from being able to use the stones.
Honestly, people with powers granted by an infinity stones are really broken.
Hell some were expecting Deadpool to make a joke cameo at the end complaining that they were late to the party. In fact, Deadpool 2 is actually a pretty effective satire of Endgame, with an intro theme that unintentionally connects to IW.
Here if you want to discuss more bullshit:
Since he got neck snapped before dusted, I take it he's really dead in present timeline?
So the Loki show is gonna be a prequel or just his adventures in an alternate timeline?
Why didn’t the eagles drop the infinity gauntlet into Mount Doom?
oh yeah speaking of mutants, I was expecting Quickass to reappear or cameo for some reason.
Are you an Idiot?
The past already happenend, so killing her, doesn't effect anything.
Killing past Thanos doesn't unmake the snap.
So, if they bring Tony back to revive the franchise in a few years time, will it be:
>AI Tony
>revived Tony played by a different actor
>uncanny valley CGI Tony
>digitally deaged actual RDJ
>teen Tony, who now looks up to Spidey
That's a Nebula from an alternate timeline though
or comics Tony (LMD). I think RDJ made a joke line about this in Ironman 2 or 3.
Why did Cap take Mjolnir back to 2014?
Thor 2 was missing it.
Because Thor took it from that timeline. Cap needs to put it back along with the relevant gem.
She's a cyborg, pleb. Yes, she requires less food, but remember she kept demanding that piece of fruit in GotG2?
No, although some say the sound of a ringing smith's hammer over the darkness at the very end, of course a callback to Iron Man's origin, counts as one.
...True. Wish they had made a little more of that.
Also, Quicksilver wasn't exactly broken.
Reboot, different actor, all of us will say "Eh, he's no RDJ'.
They could bring an AU Tony or that AU Tony winds up there himself.
So things that were taken in the Time Heist had to be put back. But then Thanos and Nebula went through the same tunnel, but were never returned...
Why green regen man need glasses?
Okay yeah, that IS a bother. Has anyone answered or made a complicated fanon answer for this?
Enjoy your Black woman Ironwoman Heart
Female powa
That was adorable.
I honestly thought she would wear it to beat the fuck outta Thanos
Had to be put back otherwise it'd result in an alternate timeline. 2014 Thanos/Nebula getting fucked caused a divergent timeline.
So this mean Spiderman can finally be good?
The timeline for the Ancient One is also gonna be changed since Loki escaped with the Tessaract, and they got their space stone from a different timeline.
>No Quicksilver mentions even on the ''WERE BRINGIGN EVRRRYONE BACK'' scene
Fuck the MCU
Harley Keener from Iron Man 3, the kid who helps him when he escapes from his Malibu house after getting cucked by the Mandarin. Didn't expect him to actually appear desu
Sooo watched it yesterday.
To all of you who say it sucks, I should remind you that Rotten Tomatoes has given it a 97% score. And in the beginning it was fucking 98%.
My only issue was The fact that some people weren't in the final battle. Vision, Heimdall, Loki, OG!Gamora (it felt so weird to see her kick Quill's balls), Yondu, Pietro and of course Nat. If they were there I could have given it a 10 outta 10, but it's only 9.5. Also, I'm digging Carol's new hairstyle
Hulk only reversed the snapped people
this movie has too many time paradoxes.
Natasha died for the soul stone, but yet Gamora is alive, who also died for the soul stone, which they explain that can't be undone for Natasha. a lot of b.s.
Gamora traveled to the future before she got trapped in the stone, so there is no paradox regarding her.
You're just too retarded to listen to the explanations given.
If Thanos died in 2014, from his point of view, how did the Snappening snappen at all?
As explained this isn't BttF. The past cannot be changed, the Snappening has already happend.
There are no branching timelines, only the Infinity Stones, if taken from their respective point in time, could create something like that, but that would create destruction.
So who snapped then? Thanos had left his time.
It's better if you see it as them going back in time to an alternate timeline.
So the original time line still exists then?
What is so fucking hard to understand, that the events happened and cannot be changed?
Even if you interact with the past, there would be no changes to the present.
The timeline won't correct itself.
Because if they killed baby Thanos and the Snap never occured, they never would need a reason to go back to, thus never creating a timemachine.
Imagine a roll of Film, even if you cut of a single scene, you can still watch the rest of the movie.
Didn't you listen to Bruce explaining at the start? It's impossible for their past to be changed, because it is already what leads them to the state they're in.
No, I heard that.
But that doesn't explain how Thanos was able to come to the present, then.
Was he duplicated? Was a branching timeline created? Again, if Thanos-from-2014 was turned to dust in the present, who snapped in 2018?
past Nebula hacked the time machine, did you sleep during that part?
As soon as Past Thanos was went to the future and died it created two timelines. One where all the shit happened as usual, and another where Thanos never happened/
If they kept everything it would've caused a shit ton of alternate timelines, Thanos and Nebula coming to the future and dying only caused one new one.
It wont be fucked over since the time stone was never taken from Loki's timeline, just displaced. And even that could be fixed by Thor 2 with Thor just finding Loki and beating the shit out of him and putting the stone back in place.
Everyone always looks at antman as a joke, probably because he has now outstanding qualities, but honestly he's probably one of my favorite non main avenger due to how likable he is.
Yup they really wanted to show that the women outclassed the men, its made eevn more ridiculous by the fact that she no sold Thanos with all six infinity stones.
