The July solicits came out last week, which means PreOrders are already being placed. I flipped a coin and ended up adding both minis to my Pull List. Any of you folks doing this? Honestly, I’m just in it for Hickman’s autistic graphs. My hopes past that are Jott, a Fantomex appearance and some cool Magneto and Sinister shit. I’m not really expecting much.
Anybody getting these?

No, just you.
It’s an X-Men event that doesn’t look like shit and is by Hickman so yea it’s on my list
Is it just a couple of minis or would there be a Hickman written ongoing coming out of it?
Hickman doesn't do things by half, these are gonna be the ongoings for at least a year and then maybe near the end od his run they'll be turned back into Uncanny and Adjectiveless
Weren't both 1 of 6 in the solicits? Either way I'm going to get both. It's been a long time since I've stuck to anything Marvel.
It'd be nice if an editor slapped Hickman and said he just gets Uncanny instead of multiple books once the miniseries ends
What is magneto going to do in the book?
I'm sad because Hickman will ignore Juggernaut as the new X-Men leader.
Care to post the solicits?
Wait, Juggs is going to be the leader? Fucking why?
Just google it user, Jesus... Newsarama has them for one.
Nope, and you should get those out of your pull lists if you can.
The X-Men have been ruined beyond repair, and MarLEL should just give up and stop publishing them permanently.
Besides, mutants have NEVER fit in with the rest of the MarLEL universe anyway, so it's not like they'll lose anything important by letting X-characters lapse into limbo.
>implying I care about Muties
I’ve read Morrison’s run, early Ultimate X-Men, Astonishing, and some random stuff. I’m here for Hickman’s autism. And Jott, because I self-insert as Cyclops and I like redheads...
>I’m here for Hickman’s autism
That's even worse.
I just buy minis once they are released as trades.
july? what the fuck
What's your problem dude??
Surely one other person is going to buy a major big 2 miniseries.
thought was a preview or something so i got excited/thought that it was coming out sooner than july
My buddy told me he might pull it so you may be right idk
I was half kidding listening to too much Ronnie Mund but was genuinely curious what you meant. But doesn't "July" mean like May in comic/solicit time?
Not really, the team doesn't have a leader... but knowing Juggernaut, he will say that he is.
Hickman spent the past several months making charts and graphs, so I'm pretty hype. There's like ~60 pages of them apparently, so they'll probably be spread out as back-ups for each issue of the two ongoings. Not since the all-graphs one-shot that came out for East of West between Years 1 & 2 have we had that much Hickman autism.
Damn, Larraz and Silva are legit masters now.
he goes hard in the mf paint
Larraz' Rogue makes my special purpose feel funny
Says you. I love his autistic charts.
The thumbnail in the catalog looks like Evolution Rogue is front and center
I forgot to post the other cover.
Agreed. Part of it, for me, is it shows effort/care in writing to want to dedicate the time to both world building and design. Compared to many writers with scripts/jobs that can be rattled off half heartily with very little effort and forethought.
Is that Dani, Magik, Collossus wrapped up in one character?
Nobody knows yet.
RB Silva might be the greatest artist clone ever, this guy is so close to Immonen it's, pardon the pun, uncanny
Some descendants. It's confirmed that the series will touch on past, present and future X-Men. And they also confirmed those aren't any kind of warps.
Anyone care to post the solicits?

He has a lot of qualities that make him a decent leader, especially in absence of xavier.
...Like what?
Based Thunderbolts #153 poster!
He can be situationally intelligent, creative and an inspiring force for people who usually face overwhelming odds. He can bring disparate people together who usually only think about themselves and find ways of speaking to heart of people who he has been at odds with, fought with and for them.
At the cost of everything that makes him special, his true innate weakness.
Hey fellas since this started as an X-men thread.
I was going to read through all of them but I'm not sure where I should start and what my options are in terms of spin offs, do you guys have a handy chart for the X-Men comics like /m/ does for the entire Gundam franchise? Don't want to make my own thread for it.
I hate Larraz. And Ramos
All I saw is a guy brawling mixed with “jerk/Everyman with a heart of gold who doesn’t know when to give up”. The rest is hyperbole of a characterfag. There’s nothing there to put him above Scott, Logan, Chuck or whoever else.
Start at Giant Size X-Men #1. Continue with X-men 94 up to Uncanny X-Men #280. Keep an eye on crossovers like Mutant Massacre etc witch tie in wih multiple series. You could read New Mutants up to #54.
Man, i miss Parkerbolts
2 hour late response but thanks, looked into it. Owe ya one!
Hickman said his previous stuff for Marvel was just jobs, and this is something he actually cares about. I can't wait to see what he does with something he cares about. If F4/FF was just a job, then it was a fucking good one.
The last solits for Uncanny X-Men sounded like it was wrapping up the run and X-Force said it was ending. I have a feeling that after these minis Hickman will be on Uncanny X-Men and a new X-Force title, likely titles Uncanny X-Force if I was to guess but maybe something new.
