I think Superman's struggled to find its footing but YJ and Naomi are firmly solid and Action, and the avenues/characters it's bringing together or focusing on in the DCU is one of the more promising mainline developments in recent years.

As a DC fan, Bendis is one of the worst things that has happened to the company. He was one of the worst things that happened to Marvel, as well, but he never caused as much damage at Marvel as he has done at DC in just a year.

Bendis is being held up by "collectors" who buy Supes issues every month hoping they'll have a $10 million dollar book in 20 years!

Kind of, in one of Spencer's first arcs Peter splits into two personalities. The "Bad" Peter is pretty clearly a parallel of how Bendis and Slott have portrayed 616 Peter these past few years and "Good" Peter alludes to that fact
