Friendly reminder that the classic and infectious Inspector Gadget theme song was written by Haim Saban, the man who also created the Power Rangers

I had a feeling it was one of those "made in Japan" theme songs. It always sorta reminded me of Lupin III's opening theme with the limited vocals but catchyness maxed out.

Shuki Levy/Haim Saban were all over the place in the 80s and 90s and they were PUMPING out jams.

Fun fact, Inspector Gadget exists because DiC was stopped from making a Lupin III spin-off called Lupin VIII because Maurice LeBlanc's estate wanted too much money for the rights to the Lupin name.

Incidentally, turns out Kidd Video was actually big in, of all places, Israel, and they even released an album there having full uncut versions of the songs used in the show. Nobody's uploaded it to youtube beyond "Video to Radio", but it's not hard to find online

On a scale of 1 - John K. He's pretty high up there. Still, Danny Phantom was the one show he was a runner of where it really felt like he cared and tried. Sure Tucker and ESPECIALLY Sam weren't the best, and the ending was weak, but it felt like a genuine effort. FoP lost steam after the pilots and was dead and buried by season 2. Tough Puppy and Bunsen have just been complete phone ins. Should have stayed as a writer.
