Recently got into the show and I like
I don´t really get the hate this show gets
Yes its not that good in hindsight
But still I think its decent
So why the all the hate?

you're surprised no one gave this a chance?
You’ll find the hate is more for using the characters it did to adapt opposed to the actual show
If it had no relation to Looney Tunes it wouldn’t be hated
Shit. I forgot this actually got made. I saw the concept art and continued to ignore it existed.
Because it's a retarded idea that's hard to take seriously
I don't believe this actually exists. Only ever seen this one image.
Because it looks like someone's shitty OC
I remember watching it and liking it as a kid. Haven't revisited it in years, so I don't know well/bad it's held up.
Its shit
you aren't allowed to like things because "reasons"
i thought the show was entertaining
Its meh at best
I remember everyone was like OH THEYRE RUINING LOONEY TUNES and i'm like no, they're trying to make it better
but you can't add a shiny layer of sharp plastic spikes to something gushy and lame and hope to make it cool. This was the last time I can think of that this was tried, it was a perennial terrible idea. one of those 'mcdoland's sells salads and fruit and milk, guys!' ploys, trying to appeal hard to the opposite audience of the product you're selling
then they filed down the edges making it just ugly. fucking pixar eyes
>but you can't add a shiny layer of sharp plastic spikes to something gushy and lame and hope to make it cool.
Worked for batman.
It looked different, sharp edges as opposed to the usual looney tunes people are used to.
To an outside observer it looks like they were trying to make it too serious, when it's fucking looney tunes.
Early on the villains were dumb and random.
Already jokes going around about how edgy and cool it was trying to be which stuck.
Basically, I guess, compare it to Sonic the Hedgehog, and how easy it is to make jokes at its expense.
Yeah, nevermind that everyone has already brought up why it's a dumb idea. "Reasons."
For the same reasons as pic related. Nobody hated the show itself because nobody watched it. They hated it for what it represented
Back in the 2000s, we were up to our necks in anime-esque toyetic action cartoons with dark colors, sharp angles and lots of drama. Warner bros taking a beloved comedy cartoon and removing everything people liked about it to fit current trends fucking infuriated people, and for good reason
It's actually kind of eerie how similar the TCR controversy is to what happened with Loonatics Unleashed.

Shit, son. We are old.
How come?
It's a by the book formulaic action show. It's safe and boring.
If it had been a parody like Duck Dodgers or Darkwing it would have gone over far better.
The only episode I can really remember is the one with the power-stealing villain because it showed that Daffy was ridiculously fucking OP compared to everyone else but so egotistical that he sabotaged himself. I thought that was a nice touch.
Yeah, that's the thing though, it was always advertised as a "cool" show, not a funny one. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an ad or quote that said "these aren't your grandpa's Looney Tunes" or something
