Most anime openings can't be compared fairly because they're actual full-fledged songs that just got paired together with clips from the show. The one you posted is a great example of that.

In cartoons, the intro theme is generally an original composition tailor-made for the series, on top of that the background music of the show is often based upon it so they actually fit together.

Whether it was or wasn't, it's literally worse than most cartoon themes. The music is completely haphazard and lacking in unified melodic progression. "Throw cool-sounding shit at the wall and see what sticks" basically

I was impressed by the cartoon's world design. Felt like I was watching the Elder Scrolls.

Very, very disappointed with the writing. Written way too much like a pathetic slice of life instead of an emotional action cartoon with competent characters.

Sometimes I felt like I was watching Seinfeld.

Superman, Batman, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Generator Rex, Motorcity, The Incredible Hulk, Spiderman, Calamity Jane, Diabolik, James Bond, fucking Ben 10.

Very impressed by the sand monster where its a cave filled with sand. Impressed by the live painting where Phobos trapped the artist, loved the whisperer flowers, the infinity city, the giant library in Phobos' castle, the eggs/larva trap. The idea of having to find Phobos' sister and finding Cedric's human form/detective work

I wish they were all used more than 1 time. And I wish the last two were handled more competently.

Witch or rather 3 Caucasians, 1 token Asian and 1 token African are written like losers with powers, except they're more incompetent than Ben 10, they're almost as incompetent as kid Naruto and Inspector Gadget.

They're also not tragic characters like Bruce Banner and Samurai Jack or to a lesser extent Peter Parker. You do not give a fuck about them for the few times they fail and the many times their victories lack satisfying results.

They always crack jokes at the wrong moments and scream like bitches under pressure or downright freeze like idiots.

They weren't born in the tragic fantasy realm to give a fuck about it, they weren't born and molded by it like Batman was.

They're not mature, cunning, smart, courageous. They're utter morons who fuck up everything which makes the villains utter retards by comparison.

The 1 time they enter Phobos' library the writers have them powerless and have them run away instead of having a nice direct fight with the final boss every few episodes. They also use nothing but elemental powers and barely use their other powers like duplication to their advantage beyond slice of life jokes or a one shot episode.

It's a typical generic "you've been beaten by a bunch of inexperienced kids with attitudes" type of shows which does not evoke any emotion and intelligence.
Whenever they try the audience rolls their eyes hard at the hypocrisy.

Kid Naruto was pretty competent.

Witch has that typical normal kids(not quite losers like Charlie Brown) against the forces of evil. I'd say the writing is actually very similar to Xiaolin Showdown. Again, great world design but trash characters you can't feel too much for.
Sinbad the legend of the seven seas, among other animated movies and cartoons of the 2000s.
Charming assholes are hard to execute properly because being charming is hard, plus often you get tired of their cuntness.

I think Quack Pack is the only show which executed smug sarcastic assholes properly while being entertaining, because they were in a slice of life cartoon and not an on-going story which demands Power Rangers and James Bond tier characters to work properly.

World of Quest was decent. Totally Spies, Martin Mystery, Jackie Chan Adventures were also Witch tier, but much more comedic.

kakashi, sasuke+others were Agent 47/James Bond compared to Naruto's Inspector Gadget. Sakura was a background character.

Look, I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt and listen to yet another opposing opinion...

But I cannot take you seriously when you say that George Shrinks, World of Quest, Totally Spies, Martin Mystery, or even Motorcity or Ben 10 among others are anywhere in the same galaxy writing quality-wise. Those shows (especially the first 4) are ABSOLUTE FUCKING SHIT and if you like them your opinion is worth exactly as much.

But here's the real kicker: your ONLY real complaint about the characters is basically that they aren't depressing enough! I'm sorry that the writers of this show - unlike all those other ones apparently - didn't cater to your specific needs but the notion that every "great" hero has to be a tragic character IS PART OF THE FUCKING PROBLEM. I am sick and tired of that shit, not to mention it's usually fake as fuck

Plus the fact that you seem to only bring up examples from the first few episodes (not even all of season 1) really points to you being a troll

Because Irma is a riot, knows how to relax and spend a good time, and has curves in all the right places (in both forms).
