I still liked the tone of Thor 1 and 2 more than 3. Thor's always been a fantastical character, making him have wacky space adventures while his supporting cast and setting got killed off just felt disrespectful.

His character has gone backwards, in part because they are scared of moving Thor away from being the funny chad.

Making him King would mean Thor becoming a more serious man like Tchalla, and they don't want to risk that.
