Would you read a Hickman Carol book?

He has a story
>Your superhero work has almost exclusively involved team series as opposed to books focusing on individuals. Is there a reason that you like working with big casts and are there any Marvel characters that you’d consider writing a solo series for?

>I'd very much like to do a single protagonist book. In fact, I'll probably do that next. As for what it'll be, I dunno, there's some Black Panther stuff I was thinking about doing, I have a Captain Marvel story, I like Nova, I like Doctor Strange. We'll see.

pass on Carol

curious about the rest

Kelly Thompson is doing great right now but sure I'd read a Hickman book once she's done.

I'd like to see his Nova simply because his clout alone would probably get 2 years

Pass on the rest, especially Strange because he's just getting back on track after the last 10 years of "big ideas"

Why would you tell such an obvious lie?

>Would you read a Hickman Carol book?
It would be weird because Hickman isn't that liberal, so we could end up with something like Red Sonja in space.

no but if Jeff Parker wrote it

>Your Avengers run started just a few months after the release of the first Avengers movie. Did you feel any extra pressure from taking the reins of a franchise that had just smashed box-office records at the time?

>No, in fact I pushed as far away from that as possible. It's my opinion that we need to be years ahead of where the movies are, not reacting to what we they are doing. Sure, it's impossible to not write Iron Man without hearing Robert Downey Jr., but in general I think it's a really good idea to push past all that.
>I mean, it's been a while since I looked at any of that stuff, but I'm pretty sure my run started with the movie Avengers losing. I was making a point.

Based Hickman! synergy is the cancer of comic books.

Nova and Panther would interest me the most given some of the cosmic stuff he's done and his Panther in New Avengers.

Even the non-Carol Corps Yea Forums loves it.

Carol needs Hickman

Agreed, let Hickman do a mini to go on during Kelly Thompson's book

Who?

Carol's the new MCU lead, she can handle two ongoings like Spidey.

>Kelly Thompson is doing great right now
How much is Marvel paying you?

I want to read his Legion of Superheroes book. Also wouldn’t mind reading his Superman, the not!Superman expy Sun God was an interesting take on the archetype.

At Marvel I’d want to see his Black Panther. Coates is fucking awful.

I mean are you gonna explain why he's wrong or are you just fall back on shitposting?

you obviously haven't been reading it. It started a bit iffy, so ya if you never stuck with it I could see your opinion. But issue 4 was really fucking good, helps that Kelly knows how to write a good Rogue. And she reestablished their shared consciousness in a good way. Plus, she's been writing the best She-Hulk since Secret Wars A-Force version

>tfw Coates has gotten multiple opportunities to write an interesting Black Panther run and wasted them by writing a fucking novel instead of a comic
>tfw no one at Marvel would dare take him off the book

He's not wrong though, being so intent on hating Captain Marvel while not even reading or having a semblance of what's happening in that book makes you look stupid. The art is great and she is nailing the character.
Regarding Hickman though, it could be interesting to see him doing Nova, if anything to keep him away from Cates and to actually make another cosmic epic that steers it away from all the crap Cates is doing right now; hopefully even bring Ewing to complement the whole thing, taking it closer to Ultimates level.

Not a huge fan of his Carol but she's got her moments.
As long as it doesn't screw up Thompson's run.
