it sort of is an isn't the joke. i will always think of it as a feminist show because any time he harassed a woman, something bad would happen to him. the lesson being don't harass women when it's obvious they're not interested.
girls don't know what they want, and the ones that do pre-emptively know that they're attracted to assholes, but it also becomes a self deception inception when they're attracted to a good guy but then make sure not to go for him because they've tricked themselves in to thinking that he must be an asshole, so then they go for an actual asshole anyway
