The team that made Spiderverse are working on the sequel right now,the small drafts they have are including these story points they want to see in the second film:
>Spiderman 2099 as second protagonist to Miles
>Lizard as main villain,he would be the husband of Miles's aunt(he's white like in the comics)
>Rhino
>Tom Hardy's Venom is wanted to join the cast,Hardy would reprise his role to voice Venom
>Morbius as a villain,no idea if it would be voiced by Jared Leto
>They want Tobey Maguire to appear in the film
>Miles and Gwen's relationship will be the point of the film
>Characters from the first film will return
Pretty much this is wanted as of right now for this movie,Amy Pascal wants to make an agreement with Disney to let them do more Marvel anumated movies for their other properties such as Avengers and X-Men,Bob Iger is reluctant about it.
They also plan to do a Ghosbusters film in the new animation style brought in Spiderverse.
Spider Man Into the Spiderverse sequel info
>>Tom Hardy's Venom is wanted to join the cast,Hardy would reprise his role to voice Venom
That’d be amazing. Though would it be right after the fight with Riot or some time after?
Wait so you're saying that movie with the same budget as Shazam that made as much as Shazam is getting a sequel?
Oh my god that must mean that Shazam is actually performing well!
Somebody call Disney we have to stop this!
Destroy this thread!
Stop the Shazam fans from realizing that their movie is performing really well!
I mean, this is good for a animated movie. Now for live action....
>Miles and Gwen's relationship will be the point of the film
Aaaaand dropped
>Lizard as main villain
>he's white
>falls in love with Miles aunt whose black
BWWM in cartoons is so rare
>this is good for a animated movie
Is it though?
Lion King had half the budget and made nearly 1 billion.
No, it did good. A movie need not be a mega ultra hit in order to be a success.
And did it deserve to? No,hell no. Prince of Egypt was better.
I know
Bumblebee was a better success though...
source: my ass
agreed, I think that Miles and Gwens relationship was fine as is in the movie, where maybe they had a little bit of a romance but they just decided to start off/end off as friends.
>Spiderman 2099 as second protagonist to Miles
Yes! It'd be cool if Miles asked Peter B. Parker for some dating advice only for Miguel to make it look really easy.
>BWWM in cartoons is so rare
This is bait. Low quality at that
Post them faggot
They're not making a sequel to a film that flopped
If Spider-Verse 2 comes out it'll preform like Lego Movie 2 did
>"I hate good romances!" screamed the cuck.
>"Give me some more of that generic MCU/DCEU shit"
>they’re not doing Morlun
Doubt.jpg
>Miles and Gwen's relationship will be the point of the film
SPIDERED
>I mean, this is good for a animated movie.
It is not, it's fucking less than RIO. You know, the blue talking bird movie? It made over 100 million more than Spider-Verse. From 8 years ago. Even Ice Age made ten million more than it Seventeen years ago.
For the record I'm just pissed Spider-Verse didn't make more.
It wasn't that good of a romance, really Gwen wasn't even that good, the actress carried the character. Mind you, I did think the film was very good.
Even they must know how shit he is.
>I'm gonna say it!
It's literally award winning.
>cuck
Sorry but bendis black spider man OC isnt a good character, and im not the faggot who likes interracial shit made by a man with a literal nigger fetish
I want some version of Zombie Spiderman. As a shambling retarded idiot they need to babysit because he keeps trying to chew on things.
I agree but he’s going to undeniably be the Thanos of this multiverse business and the ultimate evil all the spider-men team up against. Lizard just seems too low brow, maybe the symbiotes
shut up bendis
There's a 100% you shitted on the first film for having a black so what does it matter
>Miles and Gwen's relationship will be the point of the film
I told you faggotts and all of you still memed about "they are just friends". It was so great without the forced relationship drama but I guess the point of a heroine is to be the gf of someone as usual.
>Original Avengers are leaving the MCU
>animated movies gaining traction now thanks to spoderverse
Are decent marvel cartoons back on the menu, boys?
>They want Tobey Maguire to appear in the film
Please.
We can only hope
>Spiderman 2099 as second protagonist to Miles
Cool
>Lizard as main villain,he would be the husband of Miles's aunt(he's white like in the comics)
>Rhino
Meh
>Tom Hardy's Venom is wanted to join the cast,Hardy would reprise his role to voice Venom
Sweet
>Morbius as a villain,no idea if it would be voiced by Jared Leto
Oh god no
>They want Tobey Maguire to appear in the film
Hell yeah
>Miles and Gwen's relationship will be the point of the film
Would just prefer if they stayed friends
>Characters from the first film will return
Cool we need more Liv, also we need this and 60s spider man and we are good
>Amy Pascal wants to make an agreement with Disney to let them do more Marvel anumated movies for their other properties such as Avengers and X-Men
That wouldn't happen in a million years. They can't even fucking get Disney to allow for Spider-Verse action figures.
>Official Miles and Gwen pairing
The real question is who's the dom
>More Spiderverse
>Still no Crisis of Infinite Batmen
Warner bros are such cucks.
Wasn’t there a brave and the bold episode about that?
>Tom Hardy's Venom is wanted to join the cast,Hardy would reprise his role to voice Venom
Typical Sony
The is no way in hell Disney would allow Zombie Spider-Man. They've already put a ban on the zombie heroes appearing in the comics anymore.
>They can't even fucking get Disney to allow for Spider-Verse action figures.
Spider-Verse has action figures though...
Probably a vague composite Eddie with some nods in-so-much as Peter had nods to Raimi Spidey.
Wasn't Peter B Parker originally just meant to be the washed-up Raimi Spidey but they couldn't get Maguire to play ball?
>Eddie, look at the spiders on their chest.
>Yeah that's their logo V. That's why they call them Spider-Men, I guess.
>We need a spider Eddie.
That looks quite good. I'm miffed about another villain from Miles' family, but the general info makes me interested.
Still waiting Takuya will be there...
They better fucking bring back Noire Peni and Porker or I swear to god
BTAB practically paved the way for a movie like this, which makes Marvel cucking DC on it even worse.
Batman, who probably has a hundred Elseworld incarnations, is being usurped by an event that came out four years ago. It's fucking bullshit.
>still trying to keep Ghostbusters going without Harold Ramis
Sony has no fucking shame.
Genius. Go with it.
What's the source on this?
Skeptical on those details because they just did the Lizard and the Rhino in Amazing Spider-man not even 10 years ago.
Venom I could buy and Morbius.
A Tobey cameo I could buy because they said they wanted to do cameos for him, Garfield, and Holland in the first one, just thought it would be confusing the audience thinking this was Raimi-man 4 or Amazing 3.
The Gwen/Miles stuff has been mentioned before by Amy as soon as ITSV came out.
I assumed that the lack a Spider logo was down to the loan deal that Sony and Disney have rather than there not being a Spidey in Venom's universe. The aborted Dolph Lundgren Venom movie from the late '90s that Goyer was writing didn't have Spidey but Venom did have the logo (in-universe it was apparently because the symbiotes had taken over a planet of giant spiders before they came to Earth).
You gotta think though all of those characters were created out of reverence for Bruce and spider-verse is predicated on shitting on peter and usurping the mantle, fuck this entire thing should seem unrealistic since they're trying to have a spider-man movie without THE spider-man but whatever its just another spider-man movie I won't see in theaters
I still wish the live action cameos of Andrew and Toby had made the cut for the original.
I dunno if the villain should be related to Miles. His uncle was already a villain in the first movie. Seems like a bit too much to believe that his uncle-in-law is also a villain
>BLACKED is unrealistic
Tell me that when somebody has the balls to make an Asian Male/Black Female romance, then we'll talk about "unrealistic depictions of interracial",
Also nice pitch OP, it seems cool enough yet boring enough and dumb enough for an executive producer to say yes to it. Wish they put in Kaine or Ben to atleast acknowledge that clones aren't the worst thing to happen to Spidey.
