I don't wanna turn this into a shipping thread but Pacifica and Dipper really did have great chemistry and would have made a cute couple.
Pacifica in general was handled pretty well minus her lack of screentime.

What fucking cartoon were you watching? Stan has both negative and positive character arcs throughout the show revolving around his strugle with selfishness and self sacrifice. Hell, his arc was the centerpiece of the finale.
I like Pacifica, but her arc was pretty basic and about as central to the plot as Robbie's was. Of all the side characters, McGucket's arc was by far the most central and compelling. Gideons could have been interesting too, but it ended up being too rushed.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with you, anons tend to give him a lot of flak for being a crybaby and whatnot but personally I really loved how they handled him repressing his feelings and giving priority to those of other people, totally sidelining his own. I liked that Amethyst noticed and tried to stop him from doing that and understood the pressure he was under.
I loved how he took every new piece of information, even heavy ones, and was still overwhelmingly positive throughout, mostly to be a rock for the others even if it hurt him deeply and he could not express it. And this was especially clear in the song he sang before Ruby and Sapphire's wedding, he starts by listing all that is on his mind and immediately represses it to go and cheer everyone up for the sake of one happy day for the couple.
And his resolution with a happy pink steven and a grey one who is tired and crying? That was absolutely perfect for me to put an end to his arc.
God, I love steven.

These two were fucking wonderful together and had an amazing, pun intended, student/mentor dynamic. Helps that both were really well written. And this was the best the two had been written in a long time.This also with PS4 Spider-Man is one of my new favorite takes on Parker.
