Is he better at redeeming people than Steven is?
Is he better at redeeming people than Steven is?
Which one can redeem him? That's the real test.
Cesar Millan
there is literally nothing to redeem
Aw man. I haven't watched Mob Psycho 100 in a while. Mob is adorable
Sure.
He and PC Principal were the only ones and they used raw power and their alpha dominance. Which both Shigeo and Steven lack.
I mean maybe Shigeo could do it if he forgot about his "powers aren't for hurting people" rule but then he'd have to literally kill him.
If Steven was in same universe as Eric? He'd end up like Butters.
He is and last season is fucking amazing. Not just for all the comedy and action but also just great character moments
Its also easier to stomach than the manga for the Mogami arc
op, i don't browse Yea Forums to be meant with anime shit.
Mob hasn't redeemed anyone.
Dimple is still an asshole, Teru was humiliated hard enough to quit being an asshole and is lucky he didn't just die, Reigen is the one that tells seventh division to get their shit together, Serizawa is like the single instance of Mob actually trying and succeeding to befriend an enemy and defuse a fight.
Dimple basically changes until he gets insecure and tries to become a god again by jacking the divine tree
Teru realized he wasn’t hot shit and he should work to improve himself for the benefit of others (he basically becomes a more benign version of Shou’s dad)
He absolutely manages to redeem Asagiri
And I’d throw Serizawa in there since he doesn’t beat him into submission but reflects his feelings back and shows empathy
the're both obnoxious in their own way
Yes 10000000%
Really, Dimple was a drug addict who couldn't resist a relapse, but even the recognized his problem when he did it.
Mob and Steven would probably get along pretty well.
Even Reigen owns up to his bullshit at the end. Mob is a great influence on the people around him.
since when does one punch man has hair, what the fuck?
>Steven Universe fags
Would the two of them teaming up be the ultimate redemptive force?
Steven tends to appeal to other character’s ’ insecurities and offer them a different point of view, which Mob also can do, but people also just become in awe of him because he also has such a strong grip on a destructive power/darkness within him and want to change in order to impress or follow in his example. He’s more relatable to villains, I suppose, because he’s got that immense power in him, yet he’s impressive because of the mature handle he fights to keep on it and never uses it as a crutch.
I thought Reigen already owed up after the whole bit where he gets outed as a fake on TV.
Yes and no
Mob redeems people passively, just by interacting with him people get better. Steven activity redeems people, and seeks to further the process. So Mob is more potent a redeemer, but Steven uses his redeeming powers better.
>i deafeted you shigeo, i saved the people of this town from your rampage (teru)
>all the claw members that got a second life (scars, the IT guy, the plant guy, sherisawa and boss that is now serving the goverment as a form to pay for his crimes)
>dimple that after finally recinving all that he wanted (being god, or close to it) decide to go against the tree that give him that power just for mob sake
>his brother, you saw s1
>mogami that actually learn something from mob and teach him something in exchange, and after accepting that mob was right and people do can change, decide to just pass away
>all the spirits that he helped pass away
Mob is a precious boy and shouldnt be compared to that evil steven
Mob activetly went and stoped the boss from exploding to give him a second chance, he also talked down mogami and teru
Reigen only ever apologized for saying mean things to Mob. He's still a duplicitous person who runs a buissness that revolves around lying to his customers, albeit usually to their benefit.
Is this show worth watching? The only recent anime that I watched is MHA and jojo
It very much is,
Not the best though.
Absolutely this. It's everything good about One Punch Man with none of its flaws. I really hope it gets a third season.
He gave at least 2 people fates worse than death
Hell yeah, not fully caught up with the anime but I've read the manga, it has a good ending and pretty much every major character has an arc at some point. Also the anime's animation and art style are really good
>redeeming chubby shota Elliot Rodger
This thread doesn't really belong here but it does make you think:
There's really no place for such discussion is there? Anime and cartoons are treated as two different mediums even though the only difference is regionally.
It's the difference between comic strips and books. They're the same medium, but different classes within that medium. They have vastly different tropes, techniques and end goals. They're not even really competing with eachother since people watch them for vastly different reasons.
This. I read manga/watch anime because they do action better than the west.
It's okay when anime does it because we don't get triggered by our own assumed motives or give a fuck about their idea of social justice.
