Also don't break laws and get a job. Any job is fine, and show up when you're supposed to be there. And vote, but vote for your ideals and not just your favorite color. And if you find yourself raising a child, stay in their life.
No it isn't, why are you lying on the internet
This is pretty normal.
That's actually pretty good advice for dealing with the police for anybody regardless of race
It is.
*sucks air through teeth*
Dat's racist.
But I'm not talking only to black people, but to all Americans.
Of course. You wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't political.
Honestly, seen cops act like fucking savages to whites a lot more because they won't really risk being accused of racism which makes it far easier for them to get away with it. I remember the guy who got ordered to crawl on the floor and roll towards the officer and got shit while crying in confusion because it was impossible to do, or the family that got maced and tased four times in their van because cops forgot they never actually told them to get off the vehicle, or the guy who got lit up from across the street for holding a coffee mug due to a swatting on the wrong address, or the red flag arrest in IL, etc.
Wonderella's always been like this. And that's not bad advice.
haha, black people are caught in a negative feedback loop they can't escape because a healthy respect for authority is too white.
It is, but whites and asians usually understand without having to be told, I dunno what it is but its like blacks have some kind of gene that makes them complete retards when they're within ten feet of a police badge
Anytime wonderella actually updates is unexpected.
as long as you're american
There's a long history that pretty much explains why blacks specifically have trouble with police. Similar for some Latinos
is Florida man a race?
I think a lot of cop on black violence isn't hate...well, maliciousness at least, but fear and panic. How you get shit like 'Why did you shoot me?!' 'I don't know! I don't know!'
I think cops in general are underqualified for their jobs. But I don't know if there's a real solution for that because if you get rid of the bad cops you aren't going to have enough cops.
Is it? In 12th grade my gov/econ teacher gave us a lecture on how to behave around and deal with police. I thought it was normal for schools to talk about that kind of stuff.
People don't become cops to make the world a better place. They become cops because after getting out of the army, most desk jobs are meaningless and you simply crave the structure and someone militaristic mentality of the force.
Oh and power, they really like the fucking power.
This would have been funnier if the heroes swapped places.
What's the punchline? Is she overwhelmed by the number of stoplights she has to deal with?
get a job
its a captcha, stupid
What is captcha, user?
"Unexpected" my ass is this your first Wonderella comic fucking /pol/tard? You're fucking cancer.
haha, I... I knew that... I'm not a robot or anything...
google captcha
Oh course you're not
You wouldn't be able to post if you were
You ARE a retard though.
Yep, because there's definitely no way to bypass the captcha my fellow human.
Because (((they))) will do anything to paint cops in a bad light. Like that black guy that was sleeping in his car in a taco bell drive thru and got shot by the police.
TYT and similar agendapushing shitflingers kept omitting that the dude had a rap sheet longer than John Holmes's dick, that he was sleeping with a gun in his lap and that he had another stolen and illegally modified gun in the glove compartment.
Instead they kept portraying it as "innocent dindu savagely gunned down by 6 police officers".
The truth of my adventures has been heavily distorted by a dishonest media, citizen.
>sleeping
>in a drive-through lane
What the fuck man
He was some not-even-z list gangsta nigga. Take a wild guess why he fell asleep on his way to a place where munchies can be dealt with.
In a Jordan Peelesque "all cops are black baby extermination units" world how would there be a black superhero? Would she just have been shot by the kkkops?
These are things that should and are taught to everyone.
Thanks, boomer.
>small number of violent individuals mean we must treat then all with suspicion
WTF I'm a race realist now
Yea Forums libertarians are at it again.
As a white guy who grew up in a nice neighborhood, my history teacher once gave a brief lecture on the importance of exercising your right to a lawyer if the police ever arrested you for anything, because basically the police will promise to suck your dick if you confess, and even if all you can get is the public defender, at least that guy knows the cops won't actually suck your dick.
>Hundreds of years of this means there isn't a problem. Because the threshold will never be high enough for me to change my mind due to me loving the taste of boots.
>Places that don't employ police officers inevitably end up as shit holes
Fucking dumbass
Let them be user, it takes time getting used to having sweaty cop testicles in your mouth
Boo hoo American blacks have it so hard, always trhe victims. They din du nuffin and the evil racist white police is just keeping a brother down and the black officers are all uncle toms working to enslave their innocent brethren.
They really have no fucking shame when it comes to self-victimization for profit over there, do they?
Wow, conservatives here sure love authority and the government.
Western Civilization rests on three pillars. Greek philosophy, Roman law, and Christian morality.
According to what? The Articles of Confederation is basically a book written by the founding fathers explaining in detail that any short-hand Bill of Rights was merely the simple package you market to the public.
It gets into complex subjects in great detail and has more to do with governance, factional power, and so on than it does with the Greeks, Romans, or Christians.
Thanks for the laughs
>conservatives
Following the law we all agree on is being a conservatives?
Please explain the leaps and logics you took to reach this conclusion.
What are the hell are you on about it? He's right western civilization is entirely built on Roman we wuzzing and Christianity. How do you think America got colonized. Hell the founding fathers were into neoclassicism which was basically taking alot of elements from the old greeks.
Have you seen th amount of black getting shot despite being fully compliant ?
About the same for every other race.
Sure, I get it: You're saying, "Obey the repressive, sadistic trusties of your wealthy, oligarchic masters without question or hesitation."
Just because the Greeks used some elements that were adopted into the US government structure doesn't mean that the Greeks are a pillar of governance. The point was not to emulate other cultures, but to manage the needs of the state. And the founding fathers were drawing these conclusions after errors of organization, such as that initially the states lacked federal cohesion and could not really call themselves a single country if they were too independent.
They got into all sorts of real, practical things. Your average /pol/fag is just on inane, malformed theory and race-blaming.
Pic doesn't really work on the retarded, sorry if thats the lesson you learnt.
If you put the law above your morals, then yes, that is a conservative trait.
He said western civilization, not America.
how is basic logic "good advice"? Would you start clapping if she reminded them to breath ?
Care to elaborate?
it's okay, she has a cape. Therefore, she's safe.
they appear to be elementary\primary school children.
Them getting taught "basic logic" just makes sense, especially because most likely their only interaction with police has been through fiction which... doen't really do anything to prepare them
There's a lot of unprofessional, overly hostile cops that can't stay calm themselves. And those guys are trusted with lethal weapons
>Police tells a dumbass to pull over and get out of the vehicle
>Dumbass proceeds to speed on the highway runs over and kills 2 people
>Police shoot him dead.
The morals and laws align for most of these cases. Want to avoid getting shot, don't break the law by killing people.
There's definitely influence but you need to build on the past to create the future, they took what worked for greeks and discarded what didn't.
>Constitution
>Democracy
>Votes
These are pretty damn big blocks taking away even one of these completely changes a country.
It's a webcomic so it has 100% chance of turning into an illustrated blog about current politics.
It's good advice when some retards dont understand the message.
>I remember the guy who got ordered to crawl on the floor
that idiot got told to not reach behind his back for a third time, and did so immediately after
innocent kid but if you're that stupid then god help you
Nope, much higher risk to be shot if you are black.
Friendly reminder:
Blacks are less likely to be shot by police than white people despite accounting for 50% of the violent crime.
>Blacks are less likely to be shot by police than white people
You'd better provide source for that.
totally not correlated to ghetto rapper wannabe and sassy obese bitches inhability to behave when given simple orders.
Just because time is linear doesn't mean that the values held by the Romans are the same as the values held today. Life has changed a lot since then. Property rights are managed on paper, for example, whereas back then only the aristocrats could read.
It's one thing to say that Greek philosophy has some selective overlap with modern governments, or that it has historical significance. It's another thing entirely to describe Greek philosophy as a "pillar" of Western government. It's fucking not.
Its the same, Happens to Latino, asians, whites, all in equal measure.
Why do you think they're this pervasive culture of cops being power hungry murderers with guns.
But essence of the idea has never changed.
>Ancient Greeks: All men can vote except women, children, slaves, and those we conquered. Only men get a say in how the country is run
>America circa 1780: Only Rich People who own land are allowed to vote and get a say in how the country is run
The essence isn't who's allowed to vote, its that the voter is allowed to have a say in how the country is run. Thats the crux of idea. The pillar that holds everything together.
Is running a capital crime? Would cops really rather fill a person with bullets than chase them?
Alot of things can happen in that run, see
But most laws, exclusively excluding digital piracy, are very much in match with my morals as a conservative.
If your pillar is that vague then it's a "pillar" of every government in existence, fag. In an autocracy, the autocrats vote. In a dictatorship, only the dictator votes. Just because there is a class that's permitted to influence the decision making process in government doesn't mean that Greek philosophy is the foundation of the process.
A system of checks and balances is a pillar of modern government, such that we usually see western forms of government erode when one faction gains too much power. Greek philosophy is buttsex and the belief a stone falls to the ground because stones just like being on the ground.
github.com
Not him but I recall something similar.
Just slurp the CSV into an R script and group by raceethnicity.
Also does anyone hate it when black women pull the I am discriminated crap, women are treated much better than men by the law?
It's sad but true, but black kids get talks about how not to get killed by a cop. It sounds like common sense and the kind of shit everyone should do, but cops aren't ignorant to crime stats, they know the likelihood that a black person could kill them. That prejudice, justified or not, that makes people more scared around black people plays into when you kill them. They're on edge around blacks so even law abiding black people need to be extra careful.
It follows the logic that women are seen as dumder than men and blacks are seen as dumber than whites. Most people bet on black women being ignorant Shaniquas.
Love the straw man and goal post moving, and yes the greek was the foundation of the process where the fuck do you think idea for constitution and democracy came from you think a fucking dictator is practicing democracy you dumb fuck.
I was talking democracy you stupid prick you know the idea that america and all the western countries practice.
>Shaniquas
>not Le-as
You dun goofed user.
Most western nations are practicing a representative democracy, which is crucially different because it technically allows the representative to use their own discretion and override the will of the people to cast a more informed vote. It never happens, but the law allows for that, because the founding fathers feared a direct democracy would be mob rule.
The idea that a specific pool of people may influence the government is not uniquely Greek. Very specific examples of Greek philosophy are often regarded as overlapping with or potentially influencing the structure of representative government, but the Greek philosophy is neither a foundation nor a pillar. It's a historical note.
I never expected I'd say this about a Wonderella comic, but...
WHERE'S THE JOKE, FUCKLEY?
What you mean like fucking Romans and their and their Vetoe's? The same people who were we wuzzing the greeks. Holy shit you know absolutely nothing of history.
You know its my fault really shouldn't have expected anything more from an amerimutt, you people are borderline retarded when it comes to history.
No, I mean exactly the first thing I told you: modern governments do not use Christianity, nor Greek philosophy, nor Roman law as pillars for their governments. Otherwise their countries could not function if people didn't believe in Jesus, or without slavery, or if someone presented a plucked chicken and called it "man".
Calling these things "pillars" of government displays not even a surface level understanding of those governments. It goes to show somebody told you there were some historical examples of modern practices in the Greek and Roman eras, and that's all you learned. And I imagine you merely hear that Christianity is a pillar of Western state even though basically all Western government does its best to make it clear religious law is not civic law.
Did you watch the video? The guy puts his hands behind his pants to pull them up and got killed. If his wife survived because she followed the instructions calmly. Why did he not.
Morality, not theology, you twat. Anyone too thick to understand what was talking about shouldn't be commenting.
Christian morality includes the proclamation that it's okay to make slaves of your neighbors, and that you shouldn't combine two types of fabric into one shirt.
Just because every civic structure in existence outlaws murder or has some provision for marriage doesn't mean it's informed by Christian sensibilities.
He was obviously severely inebriated, bawling, and terrified. He may have ~technically~ reached for his pants, which is beaten into cops as being a massive you-are-about-to-die panic button, but the instructions he was given were utter fucking garbage, the cop was piss-scared for his life and looking for an excuse to cap him, and that death was 100% his fault. He should never touch a firearm again.
> black people get shot and killed by police more often, in part because of poverty, crime
> therefore black people dont trust cops
> "oh shit, that cop is pointing a weapon at me, better run!"
> "oh shit this random black person i stopped is running away, if i shoot him he will probably turn out to be a criminal and i will be an hero!"
> go back to point 1
"Non-compliance will be punished with death" is my takeaway from this picture. Imagine accepting all sorts of abuse from the police simply because "you're told to".
I can't really imagine being a cop.
I really don't want to hurt anyone without just cause. The idea of shooting someone who's running away or just reaching for their pocket leaves a really bad taste in my mouth, but police instructional videos make it really clear that if you hesitate for even a moment when you think somebody is about to draw on you or pull a knife, you could be brutally killed by a criminal trying to put a fast one with you, and you're not going to be able to stop it unless you have god-reflexes.
Imagine living with that paranoia in the back of your mind that anybody you stop on the side of the road could be a psycho that'll play nice, then suddenly riddle you full of holes for no good reason and drive off laughing. That's the kind of shit they show cops in training, and it leaves me none-too-surprised that they jump the gun all the time.
Take out your wallet and look at anyone of your bills or changes, read the words, look at the picture.
What do you see? You see an american building aping off the romans and greeks, you see in GOD WE TRUST on everyone of your currency.
The concept of veto you've already demonstrated, and what about the elected representatives that are also copied off the romans? The democracy of the greeks, the constitution of the Greeks. All these things copied and lifted from the past and still in the present.
You know the presumption of innocence? thats roman law along with a myriad others.
Now lets remove the constition, democracy, veto power, and the laws. You know what you get? Not western society
> Otherwise their countries could not function if people didn't believe in Jesus
Christianity is the morality, like dont fuck over your neighbor or kill him, help your fellow man, its shit like that. We take Christianity away and we get shit like islam where its an eye for an eye.
> Christian morality includes the proclamation that it's okay to make slaves of your neighbors,
Thats jewish. Christianity is love my neighbors.
this. so much this. i know an exnavy guy who got bored so he joined the cops and now he jacks it every night over his weapons and how many arrests he makes of people with CBD oil.
ah. i forgot that autistic people browse this board
>Poor oppressed armed authorities protected by the state
Damn, libertarians sure are making a show today.
no fucking way a cop that sees a dude running away shoots and kills him because he's scared he might brutally murder him by running away
>Thats jewish. Christianity is love my neighbors.
Damn those segregationists must've been Jewish in disguise then, even though they used the Bible to justify black slavery for decades.
Segregation is still a thing in Wonderell's alternate history? That's sort of racist of the author isn't it?
Do you want them to bring up the Jewish Slave traders?
>No, no, those Christian morals were actually Jewish ones.
I guess if you selectively cherry-pick morals from the bible so that the ones you care about are also the ones reflect in your modern civic culture, it would seem like the Bible informed your government, even though the government ignores numerous rules in the Bible.
That's a fallacy called "Texas Sharp Shooting", where you draw new targets around an old bullet hole instead of shooting new bullets at an old target.
As for the money - money changes dumbass. When they founded America, every state was printing their own bills.
Oh god no. It would be still stupid considering I was referring to the South and that, if the Jews were the only slave traders, nothing forced the plantation owners to perpetuate the slavery system unless they firmly believed in it themselves.
>Idiot charges at cop
>hes a gud boi he didndu nuffin
like clockwork
Does anyone else remember Battlestar Galactica where Adama said something to the effect of, "Soldiers fight the enemy. Police protect the public. If soldiers become cops, the people become the enemy."
REALLY GETS THE NOGGIN JOGGIN' ABOUT AMERICA'S PSYCHOTIC TRIGGER HAPPY COPS
I'm not saying there aren't swathes of people with a superiority complex that just want to go on a power trip, I'm just saying that I can't imagine the job.
Like, you're supposed to shoot people running away with a gun because they could be a danger to the public, and it's a 50/50 as to whether they were just scared of you or if they actually are going to run away and kill someone because you didn't kill them.
They front-load you as you go in with videos like that fucking psychotic vietnam vet magdumping a cop as he begged for his life, they give you training scenarios where someone is acting completely mundane in a routine, friendly traffic stuff and then they reach into their car, pull out a gun in an instant and shoot you in the head. I can't imagine going through training like that and coming out wondering about anything other than if I'm going to be fast enough if this guy I'm talking to decides he wants to try and kill a cop, even if I am a decent person who really doesn't want to hurt anyone.
That's pure cop logic, though. A lot of the victims from cop violence aren't exactly those who resist, but rather those who don't react as quickly as they're told to, or act in unpredictable yet non-threatening ways due to nerves or anxiety. It just goes to show cops are prone to violence and it's easier for them to make people as compliant as possible because they can't handle any other situations.
Well yeah seeing as how "non-compliance" in the image seems to include assault with intent to kill. I'm sure if you were in the same situation as the officer there you'd calmly tell the other person how they really should reconsider and discuss the matter in a constructive manner.
A cop's job is also to risk his life to protect the people, therefore a cop's life is not as important as a civillian's life.
No, because you only follow clickbait headlines from kikes.
>Told not to move
>Immediately tries to reach into his pants
>He didndu NUFFIN!
actually in the US it was decided that cops have ZERO duty to actually protect with their lives :)
American cops are scum :)
Not gonna argue about hypothetical, facetious scenarios like these. Go bait elsewhere.
Being forced to deal with niggers is a job hazard. This applies to cops of every race, including black.
I would rather deal with cops than niggers.
>omg I can't believe this random stranger didnt take a bullet for me!
With that mentality, yes, it would be better if you were shot.
The real problem isn't that cops are violent, its that they don't know how to handle people who are freaking out from anxiety, and are instead trained to defend themselves if there's *any* risk the person they're pointing at is going for a weapon.
ftfy
So it's your belief that there's a huge conspiracy and cops just love filling out paperwork and having their lives ruined for killing what you would call innocent people?
No, that's not my "belief" at all, you're arguing with yourself here.
Just like you selectively cherry pick the contributions from the Romans,Greeks, and Christians? Sure
>money changes
But what about the buildings user did they miraculously change to faggot? Or the presumption of innocence or the veto?
Or maybe that they are trained like shit by an administration that is very good at protecting cops when they fuck up.
The police investigated the police and found out that the police didn't do anything wrong.
>posts illogical picture with questionable logic
>gets called out for it
>you must be the BAD THING
like cockwork.
The guy was pulling his pants uo because he couldn't actually move with them down, and the cop wasn't listening.
two parts, one I didn't post any images in this thread, and two I must just be too white and listen to authority to understand that it should be okay to attack people who have weapons
>those ellipses
Why does the dumbest facebook shit consistently abuse ellipses?
It's like... emphasis and... dramatic pauses... pad out retarded ideas and make them seems like... desperate and thoughtful pleas... or intelligent and snarky...
if you don't get it... please reread this post
>I must just be too white and listen to authority to understand that it should be okay to attack people who have weapons
And somehow you still don't understand that we're talking about unarmed people who are forced to comply with the cops for virtually no reason.
>who are forced to comply with the cops for virtually no reason.
>virtually no reason.
I hate to tell you this, but cops essentially have carte blanche while in uniform. Almost EVERYONE that has a run in with cops are "forced to comply with the cops for virtually no reason" unless they, at best, want to be taken in and processed.
and the police officer is supposed to be omniscient of this fact how exactly? They find a general description of who they're looking for and go from there being the idiot who can't follow simple orders isn't their fault
>cops essentially have carte blanche while in uniform
That's my point and the reason why I don't like the implications of the picture. Just because it's the way it is doesn't mean I agree with it, user.
Thats why they failed because the slaves that could read suddenly discovered their master was full of shit, The old testament was chock full of moses freeing his people from slavery and the slaves read a specific portion that demanded that they be free after the seventh year.
Thats why the slave owners didnt want them to be educated and started censoring the bible parts that talked about freedom.
boomers.
>its like blacks have some kind of gene that makes them complete retards when they're within ten feet of a police badge
Fucking hell this. Yes the cop's an asshole, yes you don't want to look like a bitch in front of your buddies but at the end of the day they have a gun and the law on their side.
Go dilate.
He shouldn't have even been put in that situation from the start.
What's so hard about telling him to lay down with his hands on his head like normal? Then just walk up and cuff him.
