Owl House is the most generic premise you could possibly pitch to a studio next to, "Two dudes go on wacky adventures".
The execution itself could be great, I have no idea, but pointing out that it's plot is the most atypical thing ever is like, yeah, no fucking shit. So is Inside Out's "What goes on in our MINDS?" story or Wreck It Ralph 2's "What if the internet was a place?!".

Both rumors of delay and rumors of /ll/ came out around the same time, but they weren't tied together. The delays were linked to actual content direction, not character relationships.

So, I just finished Soul Eater...and I kinda agree. Plus the Kishin seemed to go from an OP villian to a jobber obsessed with a 14 year old girls feelings in almost next to no time. The madness thing seemed like a bit of a weak threat. I felt like it could've been better. I mean, I enjoyed it but it certainly felt like it slid towards to final arc.
OP touched me in places that made me feel REALLY uncomfortable, and he was touching them with his weiner which made it feel even more weird and gross.

Soul Eater has a fanbase but I found it pretty poorly written. The mangaka's most recent manga is some firefighter shonen and it's so bad it manages to make Soul Eater look good.

I would watch more anime, but I've got three major problems with it:
>Never ending shonens that I can't get into
>Stories that start out amazing in the first 10 episodes then quickly drops in quality and you're slogging through to get to the end
>Cultural differences make a lot of the humor fall flat
Too many anime series have sex-based jokes as a crux of their humor and it's the same kind of grating as American adult cartoons doing boring, "Wouldn't it be WACKY if this CARTOON CHARACTER SWORE AND KILLED PEOPLE?".
The second bullet point though is why I have a really hard time getting into anime. I entirely expect to check out early on and that's kind of a bummer.
