Before I watch the video, did the new Pebbles and Bambam cartoon have any affect on this project?
neat
I don't know, I just skipped straight to the concept art.
>links to a youtube video and screenshots, rather than the source that he explicitly mentions in the video
Now that I'm looking for it, I also see that there's no link in the video description either. This RebelTaxi fellow sure is a nigger for sharing someone else's work while just barely mentioning his name and not even giving him a link to his portfolio.

I like that Pebbles.
I didn't think production got this far. I assumed the shot of the house was the only background made and it was a basic starter image for production rather than being in a wave of others.
Part of the issue with not getting it from the source, aside from using a shitty youtuber as one, is you won't be posting it in its native resolution.
Who gives a shit? Let's just be happy another dumb McFarlane project didn't get greenlit
At least this sounds more interesting than the Cleveland show and despite not seeing it The Orville star trek thing at least has effort. The Cleveland Show was literally just episodes of Family Guy in execution, just essentially focusing on other characters. If those characters, like Cletus or the other side non-family characters were in FG, their theoretical episodes would be exactly like what we got. They went out of their way to make it a one-to-one setting for whatever reason.
Cool
Very likely that it didn’t
These background shots are almost a decade old
Meanwhile at the Legion of Doom...
Well, at least it would've looked good, based on these bgs
MacFarlane actually can do good stuff. Orville is great, for example
We knew nothing about it. We don't need a charmless Flintstones Guy. Even these pieces of concept art just look like the generic
>straight on
>3/4 angle
shots that McFarlane characters do stock poses in. The writing would have sucked.
The Orville's a "comedy" version of a proven template. McFarlane knows how to rip shit off, for sure
1) Wait Till Your Father Gets Home was more of the framework of an animated sitcom dad than Fred because Pebbles didn't have enough interaction with Fred to piss him off until her wedding.
2) Seth had worked with Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network in the past.
It's good, but strangely safe?
IIRC, the reason why the reboot didn't go through is because Fox wasn't happy with the script and Seth MacFarlane didn't have the time to give it another shot. I wonder if one of the problems was sticking too close to the 60s version.
fuck 2010 was almost a decade ago oh my god
from what I heard that is correct. Fox gave McFarlane the Flintstones HOPING he would "Family Guy" it up. But McFarlane has a deep respect for The Flintstones as they were and pitched a true-to-the-original-60s pilot.
Seth McFarlane's reboot was developed and cancelled almost a decade ago, so I don't think so.
I think it's funny the new Pebbles and Bamboo show was also cancelled before it saw the light of day.
I've heard that too. Kinda makes you respect Seth a little more.
>today I will remind them
I see parking capabilities of the driving public haven't changed since those days. :-/
>Those mexican bumper ads
I can't believe eustace is fucking dead.
The way they look each other remind me of this scene.
The exact same shots that he uses for every character's house
>Kinda makes you
Dont do that shit just say yourself and not others.
To be fair I doubt he asked specifically 3/4ths view, it's just a fucking issue with most western cartoons to some degree.
Oh, sorry. But yeah, good for him for not caving.
