The Spot would be a great choice, maybe not as the main antagonist, but he'd definitely be a great reason for the team to come together. Maybe the collider exploding released an energy wave that effected him powers so now they work interdimensionally the problem is that can't control it so portals are opening everywhere and dropping things into the wrong dimension. Add to that, the portals don't close and over time they start coming together which allows bigger and more dangerous things to come through. So now you have holes disrupting the fabric of reality that are releasing progressively more dangerous things, so the heroes are kept busy protecting people from monsters while also trying to keep reality from being torn apart. That could be the plot by itself but if you want a real villain you can have someone wanting to harness Spot's powers for their own gain.
You could even setup a sequel by having the first thing to come through be something small and unassuming and at the end have it revealed that it didn't get sent back to where it came from and is far more dangerous than it
first appeared to be. Of course you would have to establish that while Spot can't control the portals himself they're stable enough that whatever comes through won't eventually deteriorate.

PS4 spidey is pretty good. His story is more back to basics with a bunch of elements from newer stories baked in from the start. He's a solid entry for Parker stories and relatively recent if that matters to you.

She doesn't get arrested with Kingpin, you never see her die, her getting TRUCKED was just a red herring, and everyone knows nobody's dead until you check the fucking pulse and even then it's usually not too late. Also she designed the dimensional collider so that opens up more multiverse shenanigans, not to mention she's the second most significant villain in the story and got quite a bit of screentime.

Was there anything about the movie that bothered you guys? I think it was overall solid, but I can think of three things that felt kind of off.

I definitley thought that about the Spider-sense thing. They just sorta handwaved that. I don't know what all spider-sense does but I don't know how it made her want to enroll in a school long before he even got bitten.
Also yeah I wish the Miles vs. the police plot point didn't get dropped.

For Gwen it seemed to me like she was using Visions academy to perform research about the collider. Seemed obvious that she was honing in on what she needed to to do in order to get back to earth-65 just doing it solo. The first time we see her, she's watching a documentary about Alchemax. As to enrollment, it's more likely she found a spare uniform and just placed it over her clothes to blend in. I don't know much about espionage, but I assume a lot of it is looking like you belong, moving with confidence, and keeping a decent distance from people.
For Blonde Peter it seemed like general advice of superheroing, especially against a guy with as much reach as Kingpin. While it's probable the straight laced Jefferson Davis isn't on Fisk's payroll odds are someone in close proximity at the police station is. Miles telling Jeff about his powers could easily lead to Jeff reporting to somebody at the station. Which get back to Wilson. It was solid advice.
For the Alleyway Jeff did see Miles do his invisible trick in the alley and possibly during the fight with Kingpin before Spider-man does it right in front of him when he hands over Fisk. He may have associated those two together.

Peni, Noir, and Ham are all variants of Peter Parker with their own Aunt Mays in their own New Yorks. But if that's not good enough for you, Peni has scanning equipment in SP//DR and the Technology under Aunt Mays house would draw her towards it. Noir is a detective who would look for someplace familiar before setting out to figure what's going on. Ham runs on cartoon physics where the logic doesn't matter as long as whatever action that's happening serves a joke. He showed up because it was unexpected that he would be there.

She doesn't know Kingpin killed Parker. Kingpin is still a respected individual in the city.

The closeness of 1610, 65, and 616 aesthetics may slow the cellular decay. The timetable for all the Spiders though was 'soon'. Gwen may have had a buffer from her brief time travel.

Distance in that she was never in a close enough proximity to Peter 1610 for her spider-sense to react. The school would be a location she could research her surroundings and come up with a plan without drawing attention to herself.
As Pete making money off of Spider-man he may have had a go between or some kind of agent (possibly Aunt May or MJ) to profit off selling the story for comics, movies, ice cream etc. The comics in universe change his name to Billy Barker.

Well, yeah. She's a teen. Teens attend school. Easy to blend in. Her research seemed to have paid off because she was 5 seconds from getting the materials she needed to make her goober. Miles and Peter B. just beat her to the punch.

They actually said as a one off joke in the DVD commentary that Aunt May actually adjusted the suit to fit Miles after he spray painted it, and that it's just not something that was interesting enough to show happen.And she said she made the knew web shooters herself so those were probably custom made for Miles.

They also mentioned that that Peter was supposed to just sorta be an amalgam of all the different takes on Peter through the years so it makes sense.

I hope a somewhat faithful Hobgoblin is a villain in the sequel. It’d be a good way for him to get some form of representation.

The more I dig into this movie the less I like it sure the visuals are nice and the animation is clever. But I can tell no one involved with the project had any sort of love for spider-man
I don't remember any hostility Gwen had toward Peter B. Gwen also would not have meta knowledge that Peter Parker = Spider-man seeing as this is her first Multiverse adventure. Not sure how she got 1610 Pete killed though? She didn't toss him into the Collider.

Lots of Spiderman through the years have been on pretty good terms with guys like Tony Stark. I could totally see him just working together with the guy to help build him a lair for all his shit.

She met him the previous day so she probably had like....24 hours to make them. But aside from that, once you have a working model to base it off of, making a new one probably isn't that difficult. Just use a normal web shooter for reference and adjust it to fit around a smaller wrist.

I mean how was she to know? It probably took her a few days to even figure out what'd happened and start figuring out her next course of action. Hell she had to figure out that Alchamex was behind it in the first place. Also she's not that rude to Peter B. She just gives him a bit of guff for being a slob and a bit of a wash out. Outside of her saying "he's wearing sweatpants" and "I know for a fact that you didn't teach him that" I can't really think of too many moments where she's hostile to him.
