He's the one I always forget when I'm trying to list the Robins off the top of my head.

What about Red Robin

Yum

Better to be boring than to be so reviled that you needed to be killed off.

He's definitely the worst and most superfluous one. Dick and Jason have distinct roles and arcs, Damien is kind of shitty character but at least he adds to the whole. Tim is just a shitty 90s teen hacker cardboard cutout

I like the concept of Bruce raising an orphan due to the later being a naturally gifted detective like him.

He also seems like the only Robin that will not grow up to eventuallt reject Batman vision and try their own thing.

He actually went through a really good arc in the late 90's when they were retooling the Bat franchise.
He was having to choose between Batman and his friends in Young Justice, and was growing afraid of becoming Batman himself, that is, distrustful, reclusive, serious.

It was neat, in contrast to Dick's crisis of "what good is an adult Robin?", Tim was wondering "what good is a kid Batman?"

Red Robin is the worse name ever

Damien adds nothing though.

Maybe I won't prove you wrong, but he filled an important niche when he was created. Dick was Nightwing, and no one except Normies cared about Jason Todd's death (mostly because they thought it was Dick). Fans HATED Jason like said and there was no "arc" for him yet, as the Red Hood stuff didn't come along until 2006.

Tim filled the niche of Robin at a time when it was needed, and his first mini-series has one of the all-time best Joker portrayals.

So not a great character perhaps, but one who was more relevant to the franchise for a longer period than Jason was.

Yeah, Damien is pointless
Damian, on the other hand...

The new batman adventures and Batman beyond was the only time Tim really stood out to me

>Damien is kind of shitty character but at least he adds to the whole
No he doesn't, unless you think "asshole Robin" is a needed archetype.

Jason was the most boring Robin. His shtick wears out its welcome quickly. Only edgelords like it. Remember the New 52 comic he had? Damian is shit too. It sucks having Robin actually be Batman's son. He was better as Robin to Dick's Batman.

Dick is obviously the best character out of them all, but he outgrew the role. On balance, Tim is probably my favorite Robin. It's a nice dynamic having a Robin who isn't a piece of shit but has a previous Robin to go to for advice. Really creates more of a "Bat family" feel.

I thought he was alright.

I think they should make him more like Batman nerd and reclusive side, make him a weirdo without the charismatic playboy facade (Dick) or the badassery (Jason)

Ruby Tuesday is worse because it was named after a Rolling Stones song about a girl that a guy was in love with leaving him forever. I have no idea why anybody would name a song after a melancholic ballad.

Is still fucking awful and pointless. And yeah tim's boring but I'd take boring over shitty.

I disagree entirely and don't get at all why people say that. I think he's the fucking perfect Robin. He's perfect as Batman's partner and doesn't need to "evolve" from the role he was literally built for. That creepy little brat Damian needs to either fuck off or become the villain he's always meant to be.

Can somebody please repost that image of Batman finding a bunch of weapons in a garbage dump and crying because of it?
