Surprisingly likeable, although it tries a bit too hard with the slapstick elements. It's visually one of the best recent cartoons. The human designs are fun to look at, and the number of backgrounds is impressive.
While I like the main characters, I would have preferred all of them to have British VAs or accents. But it's a minor quibble.

I think Doug (the dad) and Dolly are supposed to be. That arrangement feels just a little bit forced to me, as if we can't enjoy shows that aren't about Americans. But again it's a very minor nitpick on my part.
