Raph always gets the girl.
What was even the point of introducing a love interest with a plot hook, if they would never even mention her again in the series?
Great episode and one of the best ever.
Mona Lisa is awesome
Sauce?
I think this salamander-girl was my first monstergirl waifu. When i was a kid, i found it strange to think she was cute.
The positions should be reversed.
>turtle penis
she's going to enjoy it
Why the fuck does a reptile have hair?
In fact, what is it with anthropomorphic male characters being portrayed as actual humanoid animals, but anthropomorphic female characters are either the equivalent of catgirls or have an extra set of hair?
See
>Why the fuck does a reptile have hair?
She's actually an amphibian.
I realized my error after making my post, but still, why would a female turtle (or frog?) have hair?
Salamander.
And the reasoning is so the audience can tell she's a female more easily.
In this case it's actually justified.
Mona Lisa was a human turned, uh...what is she a lizard? chamleon? Well whatever she is she was a human first and later became a mutant.
The Turtles meanwhile were ordinary turtles turned giant Turtle men. They never had hair to start with.
That makes sense.
>she was a human first and later became a mutant.
that's horrifying
In the cartoon Splinter is the same, instead of Hamato Yoshi’s pet rat, he WAS Hamato Yoshi, and he turned into a rat mutant.
Bebop and Rocksteady too, but apparently they forgot since in one episode they talk about coming from the zoo, as if they were originally animals and not humans, so either somebody making the episode forgot, or they’re just stupid enough to have forgotten. Or mutating can transfer memories from the mutant and the thing they turned into, but that didn’t happen with any other mutants that I can remember, it’s not like the turtles thought they were all Hamato Yoshi.
this franchise is levels of kafka i did not concieve
>Bebop and Rocksteady too, but apparently they forgot since in one episode they talk about coming from the zoo, as if they were originally animals and not humans
I mean, they probably did a lot of drugs, both the regular New York kind and whatever crazy shit they have in Dimension X. I wouldn't take anything they say at face fault.
>face fault
Um, what?
Baxter Stockman literally turned into a The Fly.
that's how it be
I wouldn't listen to anything they say as they as their smashing your face either.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures.
I will never forget. It was about 2008 or so, and I was just beginning to get into fanworks and fanfiction of TMNT 2003. I found a fic where not only was there turtlecest, but the dicks were anatomically correct. I can't look at turtle tails the same way ever again.

i honestly prefer mutant mona to alien mona
>’87 turtles
Meh
Alien Mona felt so forced and rushed. Like they were preoccupied with just having a Mona rather than actually making a place or a story for her.
Mammals, man. We really do try to fuck anything.
Maybe to you but i still to this day rewatch some episodes and enjoy them.
That just means you have meh tastes
>be splinter
>be walking past the sewer bathroom
>be hearing meh! noises
Ninjara actually has officially licensed lewd and porn comics, though. First, those Furrlough issues where she gets her clothes torn off. Then that Mirage porn parody comic that was only supposed to be distributed among employees but wound up on eBay years later.
Those comics are probably the reason why Nickelodeon uses Alopex instead of Ninjara in anything they can, even when their "Alopex" is just Ninjara in all but name (the 2012 cartoon version). Ninjara has been soiled by a porn career and can never recover.
87 turtles had best master splinter design
shredder was based too.. sometimes
a spin off where he wanderes dimension x with splinter spiritually guiding him to redemption

>you have forgot what i taught you long ago saki
>gentle always turns away strong
Not really. 2003 looked better
Wasn’t it Mikey with Horridus though?
Huh, it does make sense.
Thanks for the good post, user.
Did we ever see alien Mona naked with just a scarf?
I remember this issue, it was an special all about Ninjara and Raph. What’s funny is after this the next arc in the main comic was the Moon Eyes Saga and how they fall apart. Now that forever war is happening I wonder if she’s going to show up.
Does Viatcom even owns her?
>Does Viatcom even owns her?
Yep, they bought her rights up.
Damn, I thought she still belonged to Murphy and Allan and that’s why IDW never used her outside that special were Murphy and Allan participated.
The rights issue was resolved after they started up IDW and already created Alopex as an expy.
Apparently IDW and all licensees receive an "approved character list" and a "do not use character list". Ninjara, despite being owned by Viacom, is on the "do not use" list along with characters whose rights are muddy. The 2012 Nick cartoon had to get around a lot of the Do Not Use characters by creating legal approximates or finding Approved characters that were close enough. So Ninjara became Alopex, the Terror Bears became the Dream Beavers, and Tatsu became "Hattori Tatsu".
>So Ninjara became Alopex
And Alopex became a HORRIBLE character. She started out as a focused serious vixen trained by Shredder. And what has she become? An airhead bimbo. The latest IDW ongoing issue had her literally perform a ninja move because she saw it in a MOVIE. That's something Michelangelo would try to do. None of her being serious. What a shame. I also feel it's a major waste to reduce her to also being Raphael's love interest.
>You will obey my every command, or else!
>Or else what, tit-face?
What?
IS it happening? All I heard is that they now have the green light, if Murphy and Allen could get back together. But like with all media, the writer is the problem.
Ninja move? Looked more like something from a Wolverine movie.
It's almost certainly the fact she was in literal furry porn comics that kept Ninjara off the main list
everything afterwards just focused on making him look very grey and very old
>tin face
>Ninjara was in officially licensed furry porn comics
>Looked it up
>It's true
Well I'll be.
Is made by the fans who made Odyssey but they have the first two unreleased issues, and Chris Allan is going to be drawing everything. They confirmed Murphy is going to collaborate too.
Season 1 was kino.
>Cowabunga
COWABUNGA!!
Pretty sure the guys who wrote and drew this made a story about a date between Ninjara and Raph for one of the special, they must have like the ship.
She got kidnapped by a crazy guy and got mutated when she blew up his base.
Isn’t he suppose to be Oroku Saki?
He's cursing himself I suppose.
Can you link the story?
bump for mona.
>female turtle
>not significantly larger than the males
that's snakes, not turtles
She isn't a turtle, read the fucking thread.
They said she'd live with the other mutant animals like Leather Head, Slash, and Shinigami. Never saw her again.
#HerToo
Alien Mona has a great design imo.
Before this thread I've never even heard of Ninjara. How many other TMNT characters are in one incarnation and nothing else?
That’s the joke.
What does turtle armpit smell like?
Cool, someone actually saved something I made
I have nearly completed Archie's TMNT Adventures I collected as a kid. Maybe I'll dig them out.
They also forgot Krang race has already been shown in brain-pods, and later tried to make them into reptilians.
>reptilians
Chad buff reptilian alien warlord vs Virgin brain in bubblewalker
There was the Japanese girl who becomes April roomie, Oyuki I think. There were some minor villains like Vid Vicious who shows up for two issues before they forgot about him, he was supposed to show up in the canceled Mutanimals cartoon.
>Before this thread I've never even heard of Ninjara.
Archie did that a lot. The guys who did it had full freedom to bring in new characters which they did not enjoy working for Mirage (both had worked under Eastman and Laird before). So they went hog wild.
Ninjara, Dreadmon, Jagwar, Maligna, Null, Warrior Dragon,, Cherubae, Al-Falqa, Katmandu, the four Horsemen, Armaggon, Verminator-X... that whole run had shitloads of characters rarely if ever seen outside it.
The 2012 version gave him a much straighter and taller bearing. I liked it quite a lot. Rise's is just a joke, like everything else in the show, which is far, but not to my tastes.
That doesn't apply to larger species of reptiles. Larger turtles, tortoises, crocodiles, alligators, kommodo dragons, all have larger males.
Do games even have secrets like these anymore?
The last I remember is dead Gordon Freeman in STALKER.
I wish all the characters from TMNT Tournament fighters had come from Archie, instead of the made-up crap characters that were in the Genesis and superior SNES. versions
No sweat glands, no armpit funk.
i think Mona showed up right when I aged out of the show. I wondered if she ever had another episode, guess not.
She must have primed me for the Airwick frog mom. youtube.com
>first ten seconds: has clothes and a chest
>middle five seconds: nude (though featureless) on a lily pad.
>penultimate five seconds: cute lily-pad pose on a school
>last five seconds: jumping on a couch
i bought like 500 of those air fresheners
That’s not it.
That’s Archie #∞ which was made in secret by the guys who worked on the series. It was never officially distributed (obviously) and there’s only like 50 copies or something, almost all of which are still in their possession or missing.
He was talking about Ninjara’s story that was printed in three issues of Furrlough. It was written by Steve Murphy, but cancelled after three parts. There’s swearing and I think you can see Ninjara’s boobs once or twice. So probably why her rights are iffy.
Forgot pic.
We did get some in the new IDW comic. Like Fem-Null and Dreadmon. Maybe some more I missed.
Jagwar is now tamale from the Pantheon. Maligna showed up in the trial of Krang arc.
Thank you.
Dreadmon was in it for sure.
goddam she needs more porn.
She had to go now, her home planet needed her.
Nice
>First appearance
>Midnight Sun, part 1
Hell yeah, it was the first TMNT issue I ever owned as a kid. It was also the introduction of actual best girl, Oyuki - I remember finding her creepy at the time though, thinking that her other eye is actually missing or something.
>That issue where she makes out with the camera man.
Made my pee pee hard.
Archie was a fucking trip, it started as a comic adaptation of the cartoon but due legal issues they had to make original content. This was reflected on the “Eyes of Sarnath” arc which was dropped after the fourth issue and it wasn’t acknowledged until almost 40 issues later.
Loved the first Sarnath issue too, sadly it was the last one published in my country. At least it wasn't just an empty cliffhanger, but it had and end-of-an-era feel with knowledge about the turtles going public and them deciding to join Sarnath in his dimension.
Damn, that means the comic ended really over there. If I remember correctly the first Sarnath one was pretty early in the Archie run.
Pic kiiiiinda related. Late Archie.
>It was the last one published in my country.
That’s a shame, the rest of the arc was pretty good.
From where are you? In Mexico we had our own original content with a little of the Archie run. Sadly you can’t find anything except the covers.
This is why I miss the Archie TMNT run. Was the proper amount of edge.
Yeah, I think it's close, but not quite issue 50, although I'm not sure if the whole run got published up to that point or if it was selected stories, like they did it with Marvel and DC stuff over here.
Hungary, pal. IIRC when it ended with Sarnath it must have been about 1995, and Turtlemania was pretty much dead. Got to read the rest of the lot with the magic of the internet and I have a bunch of UK reprints, so it's all good. Still probably my favorite TMNT incarnation apart from the first movie.
I think we got most of if not all of the Archie comic over here. And I was a TMNT kid so I had toys, comics and movies and watched the cartoons and all that jazz. But yeah to this day I think that 1990 movie is still the best turtles incarnation.
Where are you?
Adventures will always have a place in my heart, hope they don’t fuck Forever War.
I have never watched any of the turtles movies. Is the first one really that good?
>tits on an amphibian
I really liked how the show version was flat, as she should be
I found what appears to be the full thing on an e-hentai gallery. if it's complete it's super short and yeah, there's swearing and you can see Ninjara's tiddy.
You said it, I think it's just a well-done movie, it worked even if you were not a fan, and it still holds up. Great atmosphere and effects, the music and cinematography are surprisingly solid for an independent movie of that era.
My only gripe with it watching as an adult is the turtles themselves being more annoying than funny - that said, Splinter, April and Casey carry the whole movie anyway. Excellent Shredder too and even Danny was alright unlike the kid sidekick from 1987.
Give it a try, user! It's different than any incarnation and you couldn't really call it the perfect adaptation of the source material, but it's well worth it. It's better than it has any right to be.
I'm over in Sweden.
Yeah the movie is great. It's pretty much a perfect mix of the Mirage comic and the 1987 cartoon. Great cast and great costumes.
Yeah, I think is time too see it, thanks guys.
Back in the day I think I thought the second live action April was hotter but I think I've come around.
But I can't really decide. They're both cuties.
>mammals.
How good was the dub?
There were two versions. Some parts were okey but it's mostly meh looking back. But I've got a soft spot for it. How was the Hungarian one?
Hungary user from before here, I wasn't the one asking about the Swedish dub, but I can tell you what I remember from our version, and it's... nothing. Basically. I know I've seen it, but the copy I watched the most as a kid was a dub taped from a German channel. I recall Raph having a really high-pitched voice in it which is at odds with the original audio, but that's pretty much it.
I remember a couple of things from Secret of the Ooze, though. Turtles media always used Raphael's OG Italian name (Raffaello) here, so the "only one of them doesn't end with an o" joke was flipped and kinda robbed of the punchline. Also, Donnie's voice was the guy who usually dubs Jim Carrey, one of my favorite dub/voice actors - for some reason they made him dub Mikey in TMNT (2007), which was distracting as hell, still a decent dub, though, except for the translation of The Foot. They were used to be called something like "FastFoot" or "FastLegs" in the old movies. In TMNT they were the "Sole Ninjas" which came off kinda weird. Like, if you don't know the story about the dragon footprint or the Daredevil reference, being fast on your feet still makes sense for ninja stuff, but having soles? Eh.
Never seen 3 or the new ones in Hungarian.
I see. Yeah the sole thing might just be a foot related thing but they didn't want to go with foot and used something close. In Sweden it was called Fotklanen or Foten. Which is just a direct translation of The Foot clan and The Foot. I can't remember any weird translations. I mean it was called Hero Turtles like in Britain but I thing we still kept the Ninja in ths song for some reason?
Only Aska from the SNES version and Sisyphus from the Genesis version were new characters, and Aska was originally going to be Mitsu from the 3rd TMNT movie but was changed for whatever reason.
>not fapping to the porn parody where all four Turtles give April O'Neil a bukkake
no wifin' in the club
Boner?
But he hardly knows her.
I regret coming into this thread
Aska was created for the SNES fighting game. The NES fighter had a dragon man named Hothead never seen him anywhere else.
youtube.com
Hot head had a toy and was in the Archie comics
also her thong was censored in the American localisation.
Hothead was one of the latter era toys and was known as the Warrior Dragon in the Archie TMNT comics.
He had a human form and was April’s boyfriend. That reminds me that Casey never appeared in Adventures.
Wasn't HotHead the name they used for Mark Hamill's demon character at the end of TMNT 2012?
When created Aska was going to be Miko from TMNT3. Somehow. No idea how she'd get to the present and become a slutty ninja. But the name got changed when TMNT3 bombed.
>I don't know, I guess it's kind dumb to lose money on a business just because you miss your father.
>No, it isn't.
kino
It is already too late.
I know. I suspect Sisyphus was supposed to be Sarnath from Archie, but something was changed.
The first issue I owned was this one...saw it in the comic book rack in a B Dalton Bookseller (do they still exist?) at the mall, checked it out cuz best girl was on the cover, bought it, then went on a back-issue spree at my LCS, greenshiftmusicandcomics.com
Ninjara and Hitler are both core TMNT characters.
Such a good cover. Chris Allan is one of my favorite turtle artist.
He even had a website at one time...it was cjksallan.com. I oughta webcrawl it and see if I can find any images.
I am not into that shit.
He was a very good artist for TMNT. He worked sufficiently much for Mirage to understand their style and then did his own thing for Archie.
Maybe in waybackmachine.com?
>tfw you end up with a jumpsuit kink because of this stupid franchise
April and fallout porn sure give me one.
Some European dubs like the Spanish and French used ninja in the theme.
