If nothing else, I love the covers for Slott's Iron Man.

Some bookscan numbers are out, and Marvel completely dominated this year.
Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet hardcover made up a huge chunk of the sales.
DC fell significantly again in the bookstore numbers.
Just a little longer before that shitty company is dead

Not a heap this month; these along with the Katsuya Terada artbook that Dark Horse brought over a few years ago.

Attached: IMG_0559.jpg (2129x2811, 1.4M)

Got The Road Back tpb and Red Lanterns. Gotta say, the latter is pretty awful.

For now I think I'll take care of the rest of the New 52 and onwards stuff. Hopefully the Ion trades will be reasonably priced somewhere by then and "The Dying Flame" will be under $130. Seriously, that eBay seller with the only copy can go jump in a lake.

Attached: GL Shelf.jpg (1096x2815, 1.26M)

Yeah the covers are great. The book isn't "bad" but it isn't worth picking up either, I'll be dropping it at #11 where this story arc comes to a close. Zub has also joined as co-writer so idk what's going on.

Fantastic Four on the other hand is great. Hope Slott stays with this one.

Just came today. I'm weeaboo posting and no one can stop me!

Has Uzumaki entered /shelfcore/? I think everybody has a copy now

Good stuff! I have the Dororo omni myself and have nothing but good things to say about it.

You're doing Oa's work, Lanternfag. Keep on keepin' on.

Got these in the mail today. Did I do good?

Attached: 45BD8020-F77A-40FA-87D0-5EBDF5552252.jpg (3066x1536, 1.36M)

I've seen the Tomie/Uzumaki/Gyo trifecta here quite a bit. I started with Tomie, though. Really loved it. First time reading Ito outside of DRR DRR story times years ago.

I wish it was hardcover. It seems very flimsy. But I'm excited to read it both for Tezuka, having only read vol. 1 of Black Jack before, and for the subject matter. Sekiro has got me wanting samurai and feudal Japan and sheeit

Recents for me.

Had to drive 45 minutes to the closest Barnes & Noble to get their only copy. They really fucked up the roll out.

This came in today.

Question - which volumes of Criminal are better? Icon or Image?

Attached: 9063C133-53C7-4D2F-9DF1-30EAA17E0B95.jpg (3264x2448, 1.69M)

They severely underestimated the demand for this thing. I'm expecting further printings... Made sure to preorder #2 and 3 long in advance to avoid this happening again. I'd really hate for these to become collector's items

>Question - which volumes of Criminal are better? Icon or Image?
Well the Icon editions are OHCs, so those, but they're long out of print.

Mine is slated to arrive May 8th from Amazon.
Already ordered vol. 2 from Right Stuf like someone who's not retarded.

volumes 2 through 4 of dragonball z. i ordered a couple single issues of grant morrisons JLA, and ill probably get grant morrisons JLA volume 3 trade paperback too this week.

I was more curious about the tpb volumes. I have 2 Icon volumes, but am thinking of replacing with the Image editions.

>DC fell significantly again in the bookstore numbers.
>Just a little longer before that shitty company is dead

year to date or april 2018-april 2019?

No idea then, I’ve only ever had the HCs. Image paperbacks are generally pretty high quality so you should be fine

Bookscan 2017 had a 31% drop from 2016.
Bookscan 2018 has a further 37% drop from 2017.
That's why everything is cancelled. Consumers have gotten smart enough to stop buying their shit products

Nothing this week, but can post something recent at least. Also in case you missed it, I did storytime the issues of JiM for this week. Well, I do. And that's ok in my book.

piss off ladderbro

Standard american releases. They have started doing jumbo deluxe versions but I probably won't double dip.

whats up lads

Venom convert here, and this is my pick up for the week. I scored a few floppies in my local Half Priced book store and I was itching to get another trade since selling Cates' trash book.
It's dumb how much I wanted that Venom/Watchman variant cover considering how I'm selling my other issues of this disaster of a run, luckily I only spent $7 (shipping included) on Ebay. So I don't feel too terrible haha.

You did good with Perfect Blue. You did bad with Bayonetta.

This month stuff

Mind MGMT omnibus is out reeeeeee

Attached: 1538623888556.jpg (2899x3904, 3.84M)

Pushman is probably my favorite Gekiga book.

That Punisher trade is the most random shit I've ever read. The space GN is insane and the voodoo GN at the end's decent. The shit in the middle with Abnett writing Frank fighting crime in the Chunnel is some long ass tiresome shit outside of a good Batroc Tarantula fight.

Yeah, I understand that the Bayo OVA isn't meant to be great, but it was $4 for a sealed copy, so I'm not too worried.

Attached: 1539563197546.jpg (1836x2448, 1.51M)

I got Hey Arnold the complete series.

>I wish it was hardcover
Correct if I'm wrong anons but there is a hardcover edition.

Manga is comics

Man, I used to come here to get a break from company wars faggotry and actual comic book talk but I see that fucking piece of shit started crashing shelf threads as well?

Attached: new april1.jpg (3749x2988, 1.91M)

Not that I'm seeing, being an NA boy. I would have bought the individual volumes if it wasn't far more expensive since they're out of print.
And I know they are, I was joking.

I bought Immortal Hulk Vol. 2, Marvel Boy complete, and Avengers No Surrender complete, on ComiXology today.

My LCS was having a sale on trades so I got those two for 30 CAD.

Attached: comics.jpg (2016x1002, 515K)

Also for the people who were interested from a previous thread I got my Spectre thing framed.

Attached: Ostrander's Spectre.jpg (1424x1942, 639K)

Yeah sorry I was confused with MW. I would get the singles too but damn these are hard to get

How's Invaders?

I keep meaning on buying a Hellboy Funko, alone with the first volume, for my cousin's kid who's into them. He likes comics and horror films. I already told them not to see the new movie. Not that he's seeing R rated films in theaters yet anyway.

Tight

I'm really enjoying it. I was worried it would be trash since the Invaders typically don't get a lot of love but the story is very intriguing.

Dont start with the first volume, you can start with wake the devil instead, the first vol (seed of destruction) is written by John Byrne so it's a little more wordy and just feels a little different. Are you thinking of buying the trades or omnis?

Jesusfreak was kind of disappointing. Ended super abruptly. And I definitely prefer when Marra colors his own stuff or it is in black and white. The Mask omnibus is missing some of the material that the individual trades have which is annoying, but I can live with it.

I have Copra Round Five and the new Bubbles zine coming soon as well.

Jesus, the Berserk volume is enormous. I might have to pick them up even though I'm not thrilled with modern Berserk.

Nice. Zenith Phase One was like 7 bucks for a damaged copy on IST.

Forgot my image.

Attached: 20190417_175253.jpg (1500x1226, 1.18M)

Whichever I find at a decent price.

I would give someone his short story collections . They just got recollected as thicc trades

Marvel and DC are both garbage at collecting their comics
I hate them so much for all the money I've wasted on them

>Gotta say, the latter is pretty awful
I thought it picked up once Guy became a Red Lantern.

Honestly Marvel is much better at collecting stuff, at least they stick with their choices. DC just cancel everything.

>Atelier Witch Hat
based

Reread my JMS Thor omnibus after snagging the Siege hardcover cheap, but then realized there were several issues between JMS's run and Siege, so Gillen Thor Ultimate Collection is on the way along with Astonishing Ant-Man Complete Collection.

Atelier is fantastic. Top notch panel layouts. Very cute too.

Oh, and I finally picked up a physical copy of Blacksad. Really looking forward to rereading it.

whats a good justice league trade paperback i should get? i have geoff johns volumes 1-8 and grant morrisons mark waids JLA volumes 1,2 and 4. i like that run over the goeff johns stuff.

Attached: wallace is concerned.jpg (480x429, 11K)

Marvel just gives you false hope, they print barely enough copies of something for every scalper to get one

I got the 2nd and 3rd uncanny xmen omnis for 125 and 225 respectively. I got sworn sword which was pretty good and mystery night which I have not read. I also got my first 2 duck books, the pixel parrot and terror of the beagle boys. How did I do?

Attached: 1508977929892.png (480x615, 555K)

sounds like you are complaining just to complain, literally every other publisher has more trouble keeping things in print. I like to collect eurocomics and finding those even 3 years after they were printed is sometimes impossible.

I wish I could rely on Marvel to keep something in print for three years.

the fuck you having such a hard time finding?

Just read Judas. One of the best comics of the decade to be sure. Here's the storytime
I have to pick up a copy. Talk about a perfect comic to recommend to someone who doesn't read comics.

what did you mean by that?

It did, it did. If Soule was on the book from start to finish I'd say it'd have been one of the better GL titles in the past twenty years. But Milligan really had no idea what the hell he was doing and Soule having to pick up where he had left off and fix all of the damage done took too long before its cancellation. Rankorr's dumb powers were never fully explained, Atrocitus was pretty much a big baby 24/7, and when Bleez finally broke out of being a backstabbing witch she was just as quickly thrown into being just a really angry background character in the other books.

There's a lot more "oh, that's neat" bits than there were fully fleshed out stories and plots worth giving a second read. Not to mention that everything the books built up to were just wiped clean. If someone had skipped over it they would have never been able to tell that Red Lanterns had an ongoing where Atrocitus fled Ysmault with Dex-Starr, Guy Gardner took over, and one of them miraculously had the power to make constructs.

>and 225
Ouch! And that's why you don't wait to buy omnis. Omnibuses are THE collector's item in comics going forward

>I want to get the x-statix omni
>can't find it for under $100
life is suffering

Also it did have the best Future's End and Red King Jack was a really fun idea they should've stuck with rather than having Nu Lobo off Rankorr.

Consolewar in hell, brat.

I still have this one. I think it's unopened.

Attached: THE-AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-OMNIBUS-VOL1-By-Stan-Lee-Steve-Ditko.jpg (240x400, 24K)

Yeah it sucks, cheapest I could find it online was 300, was lucky to get it at a local shop for less.

Here's my stuff, sadly no Yea Forums related things but I'm eyeing the steve lichman books. no shelf, i have everything still in their boxes

Can't go wrong with Giffen/DeMattis Justice League International.

I'm kinda bummed that this seems to be the case. I was planning to upgrade my 3ssential Spidey and FF to the Epics, but the early ones seem to only.be going up in price. At least they're collected some new Excalibur stories in Epic format.

Haven't retaken pics of my shelf with the panorama yet, so gonna post the 4 pics.

Can confirm. I'm and I got that shit for like almost $40 back in 2014. So worth it. I'm shocked it's so expensive now. It was cheap for so long.

Dr. Slump is so good and I hate how slept on it is by American manga fans or even American Toriyama fans.

Insanely jealous

Why are you buying that Alita release and not the Deluxe Edition with a fucking great translation from Kodansha?

>Galko-chan
How is that compared to the anime? Worth getting?

Definitely. It needs a box set, and is a perfect length for one

I noticed that the early Stan Lee-penned omniboo are being reprinted. A lot of them skyrocketed in price following his death, so you might want to sell your copies now, if you were holding out.

That WW has wonderful art, which volume is it?

This is actually great.
And reminds me that I desperately need #54 to complete my collection.

>But Milligan really had no idea what the hell he was doing
This has basically been my problem with him for the past twenty years. One of the best of the 90s, but he totally lost it over time.

Anyways, I live in Japan so it's hard to find comics. Recently, I've picked up a few 90s tpbs - Death/World Without/Return of Superman trades (which are quite annoying, as they lack covers), and an old Batman Year One and a few 80/100-Pg Spectaculars. Also found these the other day for $2 each, from 1953. Incredible condition, spines are perfect and not a single page is torn.

Attached: DSC_2284.jpg (1766x1037, 871K)

>Anyways, I live in Japan so it's hard to find comics
English teacher?

I mean, I think everyone has trouble finding American comics. It's not really profession-specific.

Viz doesn't care about the series enough to give it a box set

>That WW has wonderful art, which volume is it?
Absolute Wonder Woman Vol 2

Found this at the second hand bookstore for a fiver today. "Probably the finest piece of comic art ever to be published in a popular edition" according to Stephen King.

Attached: IMG_0664.jpg (1710x2643, 942K)

Oh nice. How much did the anime blurays cost? If ya found them for $10 or less fucking point me in the direction my dude.

Love the toys. Just needs a GL movie toy Hal drunkenly toppled over with a lil beer bottle.

BTW some advice for N52 GL, the Emotion Well storyarc right after Johns run is concluded sucks pretty hard. You're better off skipping it until the NewGods or Durlan stories.

Just posting shelves. Question tho.
Do the Simonson Fantastic Four Visionaries have his full run? I'm looking into stuff for when I have more cash

Attached: 20190419_120158.jpg (2062x2134, 2.88M)

This week's Yea Forums and /tg/ stuff. I got the GL omni for just over $50 including shipping, but the box reeked of cigarette smoke and the book still smells faintly of it even after I removed the plastic wrap.

Attached: IMG_20190417_153553.jpg (1008x936, 212K)

Damn, I also have that. Opened it like 7 or 8 years ago and the back of the dustcover and hardcover are scratched. Good thing I'm planning to keep it for now

I think there are materials that you can use that absorb smell and stuff, like foamish stuff. But to get rid of cigarette smell I would assume you would probably have to do it longer and pay more than the book even costs.

I was a bit weirded out by big book worms who would read next to their books, but apparently people who read novels don't care about that smell

For the time being I've just put it in a well-ventilated part of my apartment and I'm hoping that that'll take care of most of it. Thanks for the tip though, I'll look into that too.

A lot of smokers become scent blind to the smell of cigarettes, so perhaps they don't realise how bad it sticks to stuff.

Either it's weak bait or you paid five dollars for a fucked up version of something you could have probably gotten in almost mint condition for the same price

Rub your penis all over it; mark it with your scent.

They're stupidly expensive too

Just try your best to ignore him

Sick bro

Pity bump before I let you die, Shelfy.

This is getting a reprint in July. Im not gonna miss it this time.

The Image trades have nicer paper stock, IMO. Far more suited to the pulpy nature of the book

after a long sleep I realize maybe I should have slept before I posted this

I ment to say I was surprised by how many people smoke next to their books. Then again, I was always surprised by how many smokers smoked indoors, it was never a thing anyone thought of before my generation but god it was and is still disgusting

not a fan of Fraction but what is Cassandra, I like that art.
Nice Miracle Man collection! And how is Violent Cases? I LOVE Gaiman and McKean but isn't this their first book?

Buy Tomie, cuck.

That says Casanova.

That Akira box is so fine.

I'm incredibly jealous of that collection of Slump. I only have the first four volumes so far.

Nice.

Dryer sheets, my friend. Buy a box and layer them between every 20 pages or so and they'll absorb the smoke scent over a week or two.

Not Monkey Punch! Damn, man. Here's hoping it leads to Lupin reprints at least.

Got an early birthday present today from my brother that will be hard to top

Attached: Snapchat-833758029.jpg (1427x2688, 1.08M)

Whoa whoa whoa.. action comics #1, the first appearance of superman!!!!!!

Well, that's must have been pretty expensive.

I was just at a barnes and noble today and picked up kingdom come. Anyways, at my b and n there was more marvel stuff compared to DC. So of course theyll sell more than DC, and with endgame doing out, they'll sell more copies of anything involving thanos and the infinty gauntlet. They also have captain marvel prose books because the art in comic books is just secondary to the writing and is only there to show the charcaters talking to each other /sarcasm

Kek

Casanova is cool. Weird multi dimensional spy stories. Art is by Gabriel Ba which is really what sells it. Writing is servicable.

Thanks! Im stoked to finally have Miracleman. Havent read Violent Cases yet but I figured the writer/artist combo was worth the blind buy

Bump

Attached: LokiBump.jpg (3073x2296, 1001K)

Dororo is great and so is Lone Wolf, hope you dig em

I read that when a mangaka dies, his family/estate tighten even more on licensing and reprints, so there's probably even LESS of a chance of it ever coming back now.

I've only got three volumes but they're like fucking gold dust, despite the fact they're actually really shitty reprints

What's that abe sapien book before vol 1?

does that include a happy ending?

Nice. I kind of hate how half of it doesn't seem to make any kind of sense most likely due to translation, but when it's funny it's hilarious. I'm looking forward to getting City afterward.

The new person has been in charge since late february

i recommend the show too.
i watched that before finally deciding to get into the manga. And yeah a lot of times its like grammar and wordplay jokes that really dont work in english.

City's fun, its his absurdism at its finest.

I've seen a few episodes of the anime over the years, too, and it's what prompted me to buy the manga as well, haha.

its so great.
I really hope city gets a show someday

>it was going to be the next thing on the bucket list after finishing my GL collection
I've come to accept that they'll never touch any of Jones' work again. I can cope with Kyle never getting a Volume 3. I can even deal with DC never bothering with post-Adams GL/GA in any capacity.

But they've gone too fucking far this time.

FUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Has anyone read anything by Charles Forsman? Any good?

I just got a #1 of Perez's Wonder Woman

I just got #1 and #2 of Teether

I just got #1 of Man-Eaters

Thank you for reminding me about Teether. Liked the cover but my LCS couldn't get it. I hope I can get the trade.

Pic is from last month when my LCS was selling old issues for $1 each. On issue 9 of Extremity and it is really fucking good, extremely dark but still done in an enjoyable way. DWJ is becoming one of my fav authors. Also just finished The Highest House 4 and damn it got good, bit of a slow burn at first didn't care much for issue one but issue 4 was fantastic. Mike Carey is usually very solid.

It became worse.

If it's a first printing, that's not a horrible price, even in that condition.

Strand Books only has first printings of the Incal lately and they want a 100 bucks each. Just too much for my blood right now. Also would like to get those Thor Visionaries as well.

Oof, I'm gonna need this I guess.

Welp, I'm never getting Hitman now.

I have Revenger, nothing special, but it was fine. Plan on picking up the sequel soon now that I've finished Copra, and maybe Slasher, but hated The End Of The Fucking World.

So much Aparo Batman. What do you suggest I should get from that era? I already have Batman/Outsiders, that's why Aparo's Batman is my favorite Batman.

Starlin's run is easily my favorite stuff from that era. Possibly my favorite Batman run ever, and Aparo illustrates a fair bit of it (also my favorite Batman artist).

Book shelve broke had to get a new one. Left all my Batman graphic novels on the floor and my cat peed all over them.

Catwoman is really sour about Batman 50

I picked up the Judas floppies when they came out. Hit me in the fucking feels at the end.

Wow, such shittily recut and sliced together collections.

Yeah. DC is a fucking mess. They put these old Batman collections in hardcovers that aren't even oversized, not that much material, out of order material, and are priced like omnibuses. But it's the only option for Bronze Age Batman. I'd suck pimpled cock for DC Epic Collections

Dare I ask why the Saga books are scribbled out?

>But it's the only option for Bronze Age Batman
Then don't buy their shit products. Wait until AT&T sells them off

Nah. Gotta have my Batman.

Just put these ikea shelves together earlier in the week.

Quiltfags on Yea Forums? Neat. Where i grew up this older woman fid nothing but quilt it seemed, so she made me 2 baby blankets when i was young, 2 quilts when i was in school and 1 heavy duty camping quilt in grade 12. I still have them all i made a quilt in home ec class, it was a sample cover for the first novel i tried to write back in grade 6 this is the weirdest off topic i have posted in /shelf/

Not that user, just another prariefag canuck but i would much rather have below freezing temp than above.

Do you have any GA/BC to go with that statue? It's beautiful

You people are the worst. I live in Ottawa and if not for these recent days of consecutive rain there would still be snow everywhere, it's almost May!!!

Freezing rain is the fucking worst. But...well i put on a brave face about cold weather and i genuinely prefer it to hot. But Feb here was terrible. 3 weeks of -40C weather. And where i work there was very little heat. I wasn't outside thank god but god i froze my balls every day of February

I have Percy's run and and a bunch of Winick's stuff in floppies.Lacking actual trades beside the absolute. Been meaning to grab the Grell volumes though.

Better go fast, I think some went OOP recently.

This. Don't wait

Cause you are an omnifag you may want to grab the GL/GA Deluxe edition that just came out. It is a very nice reprinting on great paperstock, origiinal colours and all. Its quality is second only to Absolutes from DC.

And yeah, grab Grells stuff soon it seems to be getting very low in stock.

That figure is gorgeous

Alright no time like the present. Just looked through ebay and put an offer in for some of the volumes so ill see what happens with that.

Good on ya. I think Grells GA is my favorite thing DC has ever published

It's certainly a standout of the post-crisis period. DC from 85-90 put out so much classic material.

Dont remember me the things we should have collected by now in a decent format

They should break the contracts. Adams and all those old guys can cry all they want, but fuck them. They already got paid once.

I gave up on a lot of that stuff ever being collected so I bought the floppy runs on eEbay: Hawkworld, The Question, and The Spectre. If not for the Arrow TV show I would have had to get the floppies of Grell's Arrow too, lol

fuck you

No. Fuck that, there are still so many stories of writers and artists getting ill and having no money to get the healthcare they need. DC has the money to print all this stuff, Batman will sell if they print it. They just have their heads so far up their own asses they don't know what shit is anymore

>Batman will sell if they print it
Meanwhile they cancelled Batman: The Dark Knight Detective Vol. 3 and the reprint of Batman: Shaman. Thanks DC! At least we got that Bronze Age Batgirl omnibus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy that Adams wasn't allowed to get his hands on it and ruin it like he did to his Batstuff

Thanks for reminding me about the Neal Adams Batman reprints. baka

His wife was the colourist so that could be a factor too

Side note. I just found out he changed some of the scripts in that book. It's why when Roy punches Ollie in his drug arc that Ollie says he will be ok. O'Neil is still furious about that change

>recolors it so his wife gets paid
>reinks it so he gets paid twice over
fuck neal adams

>DC has the money to print all this stuff, Batman will sell if they print it
Lol. So why have they cancelled
>Batman Shaman
>Dark Knight Detective 3
>Legends of the Dark Knight: Michael Golden
>Batman: Hush omnibus
>Absolute Dark Knight Strikes Back
>Absolute The Dark Knight Returns
>Batman Eternal Omnibus
>Detective Comics Faces in the Shadows
No, fuck them. Stan and Shooter had the right idea

>reinks it so he gets paid twice over

ok that's kinda funny. I do wish that they had closer to the original versions available. if only because it's annoying for me to have to find out what issues to download and then find them all and get them one by one

Cause the people in charge of DC are fucking idiots. Not even company waring here but they make so made bad decisions it is fucking nuts.

Do you plan on getting the ASM Volume 2 and 3 omnis?

I would if i could

hey fella why you calm down and read some Batman

I have volume 2 in my bedroom with my reading pile(it takes me forever to get through silver age comics). I was gonna get volume 3 when I finished but its crazy oop now so ill get vol 4 and the jms vol and pray for a quick reprint.

DC from Crisis until about Death of Superman has so much interesting stuff. I wish it was easier to find in physical form.

Keep monitoring. You'll find some crazy deals on eBay if you're patient

Bronze Age comics are the best.

>I was gonna get volume 3 when I finished but its crazy oop now
Oh man, really? It's less than 2 years old, I'm shocked it went so fast.

Not too many Marvel omnis stay in print for that long. They've been reprinting a lot of omnis, but only ones that went OOP years ago. And some you feel might never get reprinted. Thor Omnibus 1 and Captain Britain Omnibus have been OOP for a decade and run over 500 dollars.

Basically what I'm saying is omnis are the new collector's item in comics, and if you're even slightly interested in one, but it, because at the very least it will make you money. And stuff like Uncanny X-Men and Amazing Spider-Man never last too long. Basically, don't wait too long for that ASM #4 coming this summer.

buy it*
Dammit

Are those shelves sturdy? Definitely need to to get some new ones this year and Kallax are ones I'm considering.

Sorry but OOP is such a weird way of saying Sold Out. Why does Yea Forums do this? It is a single print run, maybe reprints if that sells good. Like even the Death Absolute is getting a new print run, and people here were saying it's OOP, it just sold out

>Sorry but OOP is such a weird way of saying Sold Out. Why does Yea Forums do this?
I dunno. Just the way it is. I like it. Oops!

I've seen OoP used in music collecting circles for at least a good 10-15 years, so it's far from a new term.

really? when ever I saw it in the music community it was just labeled SOLD OUT. OOP just sends the wrong message, like that they are printing the books still, but that's not the case. They just print a single run and maybe reorder if they need to

>They just print a single run and maybe reorder if they need to
I guess OOP implies there's no expectation of a reprint. Sold out feels more specific, like sold out at this retailer, but still in print possibly. Then if there are reprints or a new collection it comes "back into print." Idk. This is the first time I've ever heard someone challenge the term OOP lol

Exactly, if something hasn’t been reprinted in two or three years it’s quite clearly OOP. If something new sells out before the store can restock it’s just sold out.

Because it might only be sold out at a few locations, but still in stock somewhere else. Out of print implies that it's completely sold out everywhere and isn't likely to get another printing. DC is good at keeping their stuff in stock with new printings. It's about all they do right lately.

Marvel has trouble keeping things in print.
DC has trouble getting things to print.

Marvel does it on purpose to inflate prices. I'd bet they sell way out of print books on ebay and other places to make a nice profit.

Yeah. We (rightly) give DC a lot of shit, but their omnibuses are basically evergreen. And ever since a few years ago are actually good products, versus the glued shite they had before.

There's something to be said about selling out through. I panic buy a lot of Marvel omnis because those fuckers go and sometimes stay gone (and even if I don't like it I can turn a profit), but I never have a reason to panic buy a DC omni since they'll always be there for me. Who ends up selling more? Food for thought.

>I panic buy a lot of Marvel omnis because those fuckers go and sometimes stay gone
I'm fucked because I want to read Claremont X-Men but I can't get those omnis. So I can see why you do this, user.

Marvel’s issues don’t affect me because I just buy everything I want as it comes out.

DC’s gun shy method of getting things to print completely infuriates me, if you aren’t sure whether or not you can print the material DON’T FUCKING ANNOUNCE IT! Don’t solicit it for 4 months and then just pull it two weeks before release date.

OOP has been used since forever, that guy just doesn't want to admit he hadn't seen the term before because he doesnt' wanna look like a newfag

I like some of JMS' Spidey run like Happy Birthday, but will the omni be worth it? Or should I pass? I might skip out on that and just get the ASM Omnibus Volume 4.

Attached: Spongeboob.gif (500x338, 464K)

Even if Marvel omni's aren't reprinted, they cycle through the different formates so you can still get them. Like Uncanney X-Force got floppied, trades, omni and then oversized TPBs. They will probably cycle back and do an omni again at some point.

DC on the other hand just doesn't care about printing some of the most desired runs. Cause they can milk Sandman and Watchmen forever and not give a fuck about anything else

Those I can see getting a reprint. Uncanny, ASM, and Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four are all omnis that have been reprinted and I can see continuing to be reprinted. Uncanny 1 was reprinted 3 years ago and is still available, so it's a matter of time. It's the stuff that's been OOP 5+ years I'd worry about. Like Silver Age X-Men omnis, those are never coming back.

Will the Untold Tales of Spider-Man omni ever get a reprint? I forgot to get that shit and now it's gone.

The fans are their own worst enemy. They only encourage those speculative shitty moves like the one you described by Marvel, who know that whatever they put out will sold out 'cause people will rush to buy either for fear to be left out or to speculate with ebay sales. That way, many people who just want to read those books get shafted because they were bought either by hoarders or by people trying to push them for much higher prices later on, and Marvel doesn't give a shit 'cause they already got all their money.

>Marvel’s issues don’t affect me because I just buy everything I want as it comes out.
Naturally, but many of us got into comics post-Omnibus so there will always be some that went OOP before we were into the hobby. Thor Omnibus #1 for instance, been OOP for ten years and I wasn't into comics in 2009 so I missed it. That thing is White Whale status, running 1000 dollars. And since Thor Omnibus 2 (which I DID buy at the time) came out in 2013 but is still OOP, that tells me those Thor omnis are never coming back. So fuck me.

Yeah that's true. Marvel keeps the material in print, but not certain products, and if you're like me and Marvel Omnibus-pilled, that's the format you want every time you can get it. Nothing feels so good in your hands.

I doubt it. I bought a copy second hand for a good price.

Yup. Marvel is really slimey, or good at business, depending on your perspective. If they understand the /shelf/ crowd like I think they do, they're playing us like fiddles.

>everyone bitching about Marvel/DC not keeping things in print
>a fan of Bande Dessinée
over privileged fucks!

Does French stuff struggle to stay in print? Tell us your plight, Claude

>I bought a copy second hand for a good price.
Fuck me. I've never personally read Untold Tales, but I heard it's good.

I’m sorry but... that the fuck are you talking about? You act like Marvel prints an extremely limited supply and then just disappears into the night.

The fact is they saturate the marketplace for a few months, if not a year+, and then let the books fall out of print. If you missed out it wasn’t because of hoarders or scalpers it was because you dragged your feet for months or you just weren’t buying comics at the time. Don’t create boogeymen that are stealing your books right out from under you, if you want something buy it.

>That thing is White Whale status, running 1000 dollars.
How the fuck? An omni going for that price is wild. Is it glue binding or sewn binding?

It's arguably the best Spider-comic of the 90s. The bar for that is very low, mind you. But I like it quite a bit.

>Does French stuff struggle to stay in print?
if it even gets printed in english at all, yes. Humanoids is ok at keeping their major stuff printed, like Jodorworsky stuff, but Soliel has totally dried up since Marvel cut their partnership. Very few publishers of that content exist in North America

It's the same shit as when Brevoort came clean about the working the outrage angle. These companies have no principles other than making money, even more so that they belong to larger media conglomerates so it doesn't matter if they do things like seeking to outrage fans on purpose, flooding the market with unwanted copies to take over shelf space or keeping shit out of print as long as it brings in the money. And the fans are more than willing to get played over and over again.

>These companies have no principles other than making money, even more so that they belong to larger media conglomerates so it doesn't matter

i feel like if Yea Forums would accept and understand this they'd be less angry.

It's not a boogey man, it's obviously a business practice that works for them. Why wouldn't they reprint books that obviously have enough demand to justify it?

>Is it glue binding or sewn binding?
I don't think any Marvel omnis are glued. Anyway some OOP omnis run near 1000. Thor 1, Iron Man 1 and 2, Silver Surfer 1, Silver Age X-Men 1. Just go to Amazon or eBay and sort omnis from most to least expensive and see for yourself.

All that material is or will be in epic collection form at some point, so it's not all for naught. But all of us have omnibus white whales. Thor 1 is mine. I got Omni 2 and 3. It's just not right having paperbacks in place of 1 on in my Thor section.

They can't do it forever. There just aren't that many new comic fans, certainly not enough to supplant the ones that lose interest or die. They'll just keep bleeding comics dry until there's nothing left.

Better than 2099? Because Peter David kills it on that book. I'll try and keep an eye out for it at a good price.

I've never read any 2099 title so I can't comment

Good news, bucko. Someone has Thor Omni 1 on amazon new for a cool $600. Which, despite knowing nothing of that omni, seems like a good deal.

I was referring to the comments calling other people buying the books as hoarders and scalpers...instead of y’know fans.

I'm not saying forever. Like that other guy mentioned, there are books that have been OOP for over 10 years and go for many times over their original price on ebay. After all those years, you bet there's enough demand for a second run but if people see things stay in print, they don't rush out to buy them.

Oh wait, I understoood your post wrong. Ignore

storage. printing say 50k books and then storing them costs. so they want LCS and brick stores (and now Amazon) to buy their stock so they don't have to keep it in storage themselves and pay for the space (and possible damage), If a book is SOLD OUT to them, that is good cause they no longer have to pay any storage, they don't necessarily care if it's on the shelves of LCSs or not. They want to push all of their product out the door a quickly as possible, let the LCS inventory hold the books instead of them

As I said, many of those "fans" are actually just that and people who just want to read comics get shafted. It's the same mentality of what happened back in the 90s only that it'll never get that big again so it won't crash that hard either.

>But all of us have omnibus white whales.
Motherfucking Eternals.

I don't know about an omni, but that material is sure to get a new collection with the release of the movie. God damn do I love the MCU era. SO much material for a /shelf/er.

What a bargain, thanks user

Why do I always see disgusting comments like this in these threads? Yeah, fuck those guys getting money for something they worked on, I just want to own these funny books I can put them on my shelves.
Bill Mantlo is suffering while the corporations are making hundreds of thousands of dollars off Rocket Racoon plushies. Fuck you, faggot, there's more to life than your fucking superhero comics, people have real problems not just the fact that the spines in a series of funny books don't line up perfectly. Get your head out of your ass.

>What a bargain, thanks user
The price of a PS3 in 2006. You can't go wrong.

There you go reminding me of old memes. I was on Yea Forums back then for all that shit. Fuuuck what a nostalgia rush, I'm getting old.

A simpler time.

I sold them so I can get the big hardcovers later down the line

Pathetic

>Marvel set to release JMS Spider-Man omni
>it contains all of JRJR's work
>they decide to tack on Sins Past

What did they mean by this?

>if you aren’t sure whether or not you can print the material DON’T FUCKING ANNOUNCE IT! Don’t solicit it for 4 months and then just pull it two weeks before release date.
In their weak defence, some stuff is never formally solicited. We (the more dedicated shelf readers) know to search the Random House publishing catalogue's on edelweiss, and those have to be published three times a year for the print industry. That let's us know what DC is hoping to print almost a year in advance, and a lot of production plans can change in that time. There have definitely been times that something pops up on that, but never gets put in their solicitation releases.

>even more so that they belong to larger media conglomerates
One of the rumors from after AT&T bought WB (recounted in a recent Brian Hibbs "Tilting at Windmills" post) is that AT&T was shocked that DC was still printing stuff. Don't be surprised if they suddently stop physical floppies (and subsequently irreparably harm the LCS industry)

DC’s own website has solicited some of the as well, here’s a link to B&tB volume 3.

dccomics.com/graphic-novels/batman-the-brave-and-the-bold-the-bronze-age-omnibus-2017/batman-the-brave-and-the-1

Still showing an August release date, despite Didio announcing it’s cancellation.

And here’s JLA volume 3 still showing next month as the release date despite being pulled from Diamond.

dccomics.com/graphic-novels/justice-league-of-america-the-bronze-age-omnibus-2017/justice-league-of-america-the-1

So, again, don’t solicit items if you can’t get them to print. If it’s a creator rights issue why are you going so far as to solicit on your own website that it’s a done deal when it’s clearly not.

Look into Akrham Asylum Living Hell. Also Joker's Asylum if you can find the two volumes for cheap since I think they're out of print now.

>dccomics.com/graphic-novels/justice-league-of-america-the-bronze-age-omnibus-2017/justice-league-of-america-the-1
This is shocking. With the Detroit omnibus, they are so, so close to having a complete run of JLA. Why let this opportunity slip?

I really don't think anyone maintains that website. It has a lot of books that were cancelled but never removed on it, including ones that claim that they have come out.
I don't think it's a creator's rights issue sometimes. They do their math, think that they can make a good profit if stores buy their stuff, then stores end up not buying copies because they don't think it will sell.
And we don't preorder either to show them that some people want it because it's cheaper to wait a week after release

Didio's cancelled the words "bronze age"

It’s worse than you think...

Not only would JLA volume 3 be great on its own, and not only would it nearly close the gap before Justice League Detroit but the final missing piece (volume 4) would have collected the entirety of George Perez’s legendary run on JLA.

Even worse though...the third volume of Brave and the Bold would have collected the series in its entirety. Done. Collected and preserved in hardcover for all who want it.

What are those Judge Dredd books? Surely they can't be the Complete Case Files.

Is the Dark Horse Tomb Raider comics actually better than the Top Cow stuff? The creator line up for the Top Cow stuff was far better from what I saw, and what I read was pretty good though I'm a Top Cow shill, and am proud of it

Attached: tomb raider jusko.jpg (779x1224, 148K)

Judge Dredd the Mega Collection.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judge_Dredd:_The_Mega_Collection
I have not read the Dark Horse TR comics, i went into the Top Cow comics completely blind and i'm so glad i did.

The dark horse TR volumes in that picture are the Top Cow issues republished under Dark Horse.

>Well...it’s not DC’s fault other websites report their future releases!
>Well...it’s not DC’s fault that DC reports their future releases!

Dude seriously? They are aborting series in the middle of what would be a complete run. They are abandoning publishing formats that they committed to less than a few years ago, after abandoning their Showcase and Archives formats. They show no concern for overlapping issues, just look at their Batman hardcovers...there are single issues that show up in 2 or 3 different books and they were released over a two year span! They had to be told that glued binding for 600+ page books was not exactly ideal.

They are a mess and have been for some time. Stop making excuses for them. I’ve bought all of the Batman hardcovers (rough as they are) and over a dozen Omnibus books because I want to support their efforts but I won’t blindly support them them when they fuck me over.

This isn’t company wars but when Marvel can sustain the Masterworks format for over a decade while simultaneously offering a wide range of Omnibus and the more affordable Epic Collection softcover formats with almost no problems well...props to them and shame on DC.

DC claims it can’t maintain interest in JLA and Batman but Marvel has an Epic Collection coming out for Tigra of all fucking characters?! Goddamn!

oh shit, so Top Cow lost the rights to even publish the stuff they did for Tomb Raider or something? Anyhow, Dark Horse makes nicer books so I guess I should look into that

Attached: tomb raider Mag.jpg (400x612, 44K)

>Well...it’s not DC’s fault that DC reports their future releases!
He neither stated or implied this.

It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

DC has a habit of dropping series mid run, fans/stores become leery of new releases and wait to see if DC sticks with it. DC cancels the series due to “low preorders” or “lack of interest.” Fans and stores lament that once again DC has left them in a lurch.

Just for fun here’s a few of the issues that would have been in volume 3. Volume 4 is much sadder, I don’t want to post what we’re missing out on with that one.

Attached: 005461DD-1108-4A5D-B32D-0BA3788FD2D4.jpg (1800x1800, 1.65M)

So it's every Dredd title and other 2000 A.D. tie-ins collected up until '96? That's neat and all, but it must be hell on someone's wallet, especially if they aren't in the UK.

Follow the train of logic please.

Statement: DC shouldn’t announce things if they can’t get them to the market.
>DC can’t be blamed for 3rd party sites releasing the info because it wasn’t FORMALLY solicited.
Response: DC’s own proprietary website formally announced the titles.
>That website is not properly maintained.

So...what’s the defense here again? DC has to formally solicit something but their website isn’t good enough? Previews isn’t good enough? Amazon doesn’t qualify?

Does Didio have to attach a handwritten letter to every issue of Previews before you’ll acknowledge that DC has formally solicited a product?

At what point can I state that DC shouldn’t solicit something if they aren’t sure they can land the fucking thing?

>Marvel has an Epic Collection coming out for Tigra of all fucking characters?!
You literally had to sign away any rights and art when you wanted to get paid by Marvel. They have literally no obligations to pay any living creators anything, so they can print whatever they have. It was the same for 2000AD. Creatives get fuck all from their work-for-hire stuff, so Rebellion can print whatever they feel like. Alan Grant started working for DC because he wanted royalties for his work.
And isn't Tigra part of a new show they are doing for Hulu? Gotta have a trade out for that release.

There’s a Tigra show now?

yeah, Tigra and Dazzler of all people. Who would think that the first X-Men cartoon is fucking Dazzler?

The Offenders

>So...what’s the defense here again?
I don't think he was defending anything but rather stating an observation. Not everything is am argument.

Magdalena is an underutilized Top Cow character

The DC logo change in the middle of no mans land gave me an anuyrism

I have no dog in this fight but I will point out that: Yes, Marvel is scummy for not paying creators better BUT the fact that DC in 2019 is refusing to release books because they would be forced to pay creators what they are owed is also kinda bad no?

Wouldn’t this be like the 6th X-Men cartoon or something?

>Not everything is an argument.
Oh really? What if I said it was?

What's your defense again?

I ment first in a decade. Last one was Wolverine and the X-men in 09. The only reason there hasn't been one since is Ike, but now that Marvel owns them they can finally make X-men cartoons again...and they go with Dazzler?

I never learned the futility of online debates.

>because they would be forced to pay creators what they are owed is also kinda bad no?
It is bad. They probably have more accurate stats compared to what we have, but the industry is in a very weird place. Brian Hibbs hasn't posted his big breakdown of the 2018 Bookscan numbers yet, but some information that we do have is that adult graphic novels are down around ~7% compared to 2017, and the kids stuff had a huge increase. DC specifically had a very rough year with releases, and that might force them to focus on stuff that is free from any other reprint obligations
publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/industry-news/comics/article/79818-what-we-know-about-2018-graphic-novel-sales.html
The completed (well, outside of annuals, and the Shado miniseries) Grell GA books sold very poorly. The known sales for them to LCS's were pretty low (around 2K for the mid volumes) and none ever placed on the Top 750 bookstore sales (which was around 4K).

It’s just Hulu. They probably want to save their big guns for Netflix or TV would be my guess.

Well hopefully you've learned the futility of seeing debates everywhere at least.

Never! I enjoy futile endeavors like arguing online and collecting DC hardcovers.

Speaking of Cancellations, Is the third book of Byrne's run on Wonder Woman still coming or did it get cancelled too?

Attached: 81sDbqHU4qL.jpg (1400x2153, 324K)

>IST order from last Saturday is still waiting on one book to ship
Mother FUCK. They need to rework their picking warehouse.

I feel for all my brothers who didn't get Hitman. I feel lucky that I got the old editions but I would've liked to see them back in print.

I really wish they'd reprint Hickman's Avengers Omnibus v1 but knowing Marvel, it isn't likely.

from what I've heard 2018 was stagnant, not real growth and no real shrink. But every store is looking forward to this year for sales cause Raina has 2 books coming out and both will probably sell 5 million each, at least

I wonder how DC's OGN line for kids will pan out. They weren't ready for 2018, but there's quite a few aimed for release in 2019.
I didn't see any copies of the Mera one when I was last at a bookstore, so either it sold out, or stores weren't interested

It's #1 on Amazon US's " Young Adults Romance Graphic Novels" which is, uh, something.
It's #17 in the full Graphic Novels selling list.
The unreleased Raven OGN is currently #5 (pre-orders)

*Young Adults specifically.

I got all 4 for $40 so I couldn't care less about the spines

My Suicide Squad trades have 3 different DC logos I love it

The Hitman shit sucks. I was waiting to read it with the new trades, but my LCS seems to have new copies of most of it sans the first, so I'll wait for the FCBD sale and nab them.

sad thing is those trades are sitting in a damn warehouse somewhere going to be shredded

So while we're talking about cancellations I'm still mad that they just up and cancelled the LSH 5YL collection in addition to everything else.

Did they ever finish Rucka's Checkmate?

Will they ever reprint Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus?

Rucka's, yes. He wrote like 25 issues, and that was all collected in two trades.
There were 31 issues total in that volume, but he didn't write the last arc, so it wasn't collected (that was Bruce Jones)

>cancelled three weeks before release

The fuck? How late do they print shit before they start sending it out?

There's a chance that it was cancelled for a while, never printed, and that they just didn't tell retailers until this week.

You paid for that pile of cancer Iron Man comic. And you bagged and boarded it. You should feel ashamed.

Do I get the Aquaman or Darkseid War omnibus?

The comics you think they should be printing are not good sellers. End of discussion.

darkseid war sucks dude

50/50 for that one imo

Anybody here got this?

not a fan of weebshit but Witch Hat Atelier has really good art

Both are around the same price where I live it looks like I'll get more enjoyment out of Aquaman. I was really only interested in Darkseid War for the scene with the Three Jokers.

a cat ruined my dad's CD collection he kept stored in a chest
rare boomer rock CDs all ruined

That just the art book? Is it nice? I plan on reading LW&C for the first time soon but the art I've seen looks great.

>That just the art book?
yeah
>Is it nice?
that's what i want to find out. pic is not mine
i know it's fucking MASSIVE and im worried about the binding
and yeah, Koike's art is amazing

>tfw you work in comics for a living and wouldn't trade it for anything
>but you broke as fuck cos comics is a fool's game and can't afford even half the shit /shelf/bros have

Attached: 1351916932698.jpg (248x267, 12K)

I'm a 27 year old "graphic designer" and "aspiring artist" who has recently found a passion for the comics medium.
Is it too late for me, bro? Can I make it?

Batman and JLA are bad sellers for DC? Yikes!

illustrate a short story for me for free and we can submit it to anthologies

Are those canon? Believe it or not, the bookstore market loves NEW things

Yeah! New things like Watchmen, DKR and Batman Year 1 right?

>LCS has the orginal Marvel years Star Wars omnibus
>had it for years
>not sure if it's worth it or good
Should I go for it?

Do it....I fucked up and waited to long before getting 2 copies of Absolute Promethea from my LCS and now I will never own it

>for exposure!
Eat shit and die.

What's the best place to see comic values?

Amazon

No I mean for key floppies

That was a joke/shitpost. Sorry to waste your time.

Check sold Ebay listings.

The runs you are talking about? yes.

Mycomicshop or Ebay

Is any of Hellblazer post Ennis worth it?

Delano > Ennis

Buddy of mine gave me this. Has some wear, but the color is fantastic

>picked up a still in the tattered cellophane copy of starman omnibus vol 5 cheap. going to see if i get 20 bucks plus 5 for media mail shipping

>got three outta four shadowpact trades 3 bucks each

Carey

>supporting that shit company

Nice. I need to get the BP Epics before they go OOP.

What, aside from their current crop of books, makes them any worse than Marvel?

I hate to get into company wars on Yea Forums but as much as like DC for some of the cool weird books they do, they always seem to fuck up so much more often
>Batdick handled so badly that instead of doing a press tour to advertise that "comics aren't just for kids" they censor themselves and put the entire imprint in jeopardy.
>Vertigo relaunch was a total disaster and they couldn't even stand up for Second Coming. High Level and American Carnage are the only books that really made their way from Vertigo and no one reads them
>killing Hanna Barbarra
>canceling so many trades/collections
and yes, they've been fucking up their current line of superhero books a lot too. Giving Gaiman the Sandman Universe and keeping it away from Didio and Lee seems to have been the best idea

this hardcover was 25 dollars on Amazon the other day for some reason so I scooped it up. never liked Abe Sapiens ongoing that ran concurrent with Hell on Earth, but these short stories are pretty good

Didn't like Lemire's GA?

who /conan/ here?

I'm STILL bitter about the New52 rebooting of him. But I'm getting over it, hence Noccenti (found it for cheep) so yeah I will end up picking up the Lemire omni eventually.

I'm considering selling my entire library and just collecting the Conan/Savage Sword omni lines from Marvel. I've kinda lost interest in standard capeshit.

Well if you're going to do that don't wait tooo long, those omnis won't be around forever before that material gets shifted over to ECs

Barbasedian and savagepilled.

>Giving Gaiman the Sandman Universe and keeping it away from Didio and Lee seems to have been the best idea
Unfortunately Lee's still co-publisher, which is what gave him the power to say that anything after Sandman #75 is "apocrypha" at NYCC. That means as far as the new line is concerned, Carey's Lucifer and the older Dreaming series never happened.
But that could also be what Gaiman wanted too.

You buy them when they come out.

I ordered a Mouseguard set, but it hasn't arrived yet, so here's a pic of a 1200-page gekiga manga anthology (for Garo's 20th anniversary).

My guy.

>so here's a pic of a 1200-page gekiga manga anthology (for Garo's 20th anniversary).
Very nice. I started reading Push Man and Other Stories today and am really enjoying it. Yatsumi's art is really resonating with me.

Guys do you put anything between pages or below them to protect the binding in big books?

Lads I’m drunk at a party in the bathroom right now and I’m
Thinking: I love you shelf. Only reason I use this shite board.

dawww! we doing another drunk weekend late night posting again /shelf/? not going to lie, they warm my heart

I myself have a bottle of Johnny Walker in my hand, not happy with my life.

I got beer and watching Star Trek Discover...not happy with all three of the things we talking about.

but cheers for tonight anyway

Bretty gud. You probably know this already, but don't get too attached to the idea of Modred as a hero/anti-hero.

I'm drinking champagne alone while listening to a comics podcast.

Attached: 1547019058936.jpg (665x1080, 69K)

what podcasts do you listen to? I listen to
>Deconstructing Comics
>Off Panel
>Jay and Miles
>Unsourced Wall
>Imaginary World (not strictly comics, but quite frequently)
>Thor Lightning and the Storm
>Wolverine the Long Night
last two are just small runs

>Work at a LCS
>Product awareness via diamond, sideshow, funko, etc.
>Even with employee discount to retail and salary all the floppies, trades, statues, and merch still murder your wallet.

I know that feel. My shelf is some anemic stack of books at best. I envy peoples' budgets but I still enjoy my work.

Mostly shows in spanish. haven't found one in english that really captures my atention. I could try with some of these, which one do you recommend the most?

if you are indiefag who can handle people shitting on your fav mainstream comics, then Deconstructing Comics cause they get some really nice candid interviews with creators. Off Panel is probably the best cause it explores every aspect of the industry, from writers/artists to comic shop owners to distributers. Oh and Strip Panel Naked on youtube is a must watch

God help me. I've been on an Ebay floppy key issue binge this past week

Hash oil, regret, my dog and 80’s Micheline/Simonson Star Wars.

I'll download a couple of chapters and try them in the week, thanks.
Yeah I follow a bunch of youtube channels
Strange Brain Parts
Near Mint Condition (only the guy who shows comics)
Cartoonist Kayfabe
Comics Tropes
spanish and portuguese too

>Strange Brain Parts
i keep forgetting about that one for some reason

the rest of them are 20 on instocktrades

God damn it /shelf/ I always look for things I can never get not just in comics and holy fuck I stumbled upon the most beautiful comic I have seen in a a while. But it is in French only and will NEVER be translated so I can read it. Same artist who's doing Requiem Vampire Knight but I think this stuff is even better

Try making some noise on Twitter about it; get enough people behind it and Udon or Dark Horse might pick it up for localization with a bit of luck.

more likely to be something in Heavy Metal, but I'm not entirely sure Morrison is up for publishing this kind of stuff. He has seemed to step away from euro-dominant Heavy Metal and just straight weird stuff. Which I enjoy as well but it leaves some things untranslated

>Mouseguard set

What kind of set? s there a slipcase witht he main or Legends books?

who Yea Forums?
