Seen this one recently, I love promotional stuff like this.
Would love to own this cel, such an iconic scene.
I love cels that immortalise bad animation.
I'm guessing that he would have had a cel for his mouth but still it's hilarious.
Do digitally inked shows have anything like cels to buy? Because those are the best
I don't know, but if they have physical cels then there's no reason why not

I'd pay good money for a W.I.T.C.H. artbook with all that and more in it. Come on Disney - the vanishingly few storyboards and animatics online aren't nearly enough
Sorry, I meant to say physical drawings.
There are Sonic Underground storyboards for instance.
Also an old image set but it's a selection of some cels I have:
Might as well post the other one from this set in case anyone cares
Interesting shading technique
What do you mean exactly?
Personally what I find interesting about it is that it's bilingual. Wonder if there are other cartoons that did that for their boards
I own a cel of Metal Sonic from Aosth and a cell from DBZ that I got for my wife.
Just the way it's applied in patches, I guess that's why they call it cel shading.
as for your second question, yes.
What's the other language there?
Chinese
or
Japanese
I'm thinking Chinese because that's where Pierre worked, Hong Ying Studios I think
imagine putting that one on direct sight of a door's peephole
I love it
I used to look at Rocko cels and stuff like that but if I ever bought one it'd be from an anime. I fear my house is not a safe location for them and they'd end up being fucked up.
I use portfolio folders myself, good place to keep them
It'd be neat to have a cel from one of their random ads, like butterfingers or for something similarly unique and specific.
Any issues with house temperature?
I live in north Europe so not really.
I use "Rexel A3 24 Pocket Clearview Display Book"s to keep my collection in (I have 3 currently). I don't want to frame mine because I prefer to have them all in one place.
I keep the backgrounds that are usually sold with them separate, most of the time they're not the original so no loss there. I also keep a 50gsm A3 sheet of paper in each plastic folder, that way I can have two cels on each side without the backs touching each other. That's the key point I feel, as sometimes the paint will peel off if you have them 'cel on cel'. Or at least that seems to be what happened to this one.
Really though, any A3 display book is good in my opinion. Though I sometimes fear if I should get some specialist folder that's guaranteed to be acid free or whatever it is that might damage a cel.
As you can see, Scratch has been caught red handed.
If you're curious, I used window cleaner and a cotton bud to clean it off, then reinked the lines with a fibre tip.
