Imagine the few people who get interested in reading comics, they find out that Rag was loosely based on something called Planet Hulk which led into something called World War Hulk. Thy get pretty excited, see some familiar faces and some new ones, and enjoy the comic for what it is, only to find out that Miek fucked over Hulk’s peace.
Would be glorious when they watch that movie again and have the memories of what Miek did in the comics, they’ll probably never look at that character the same way again.
