If you can select 1 talisman, which talisman would you choose? What would be your reason for choosing it over the others?
If you can select 1 talisman, which talisman would you choose...
Probably monkey, it can fulfill the needs of a few others so that’s cool,
rabbit so i can finish jerking it sooner
t. strong pelvic floor
Rat can bring fictional characters into life with their fictional powers, that's a god like power with limitless potential and any other choice is dumb.
I'll take the chiken
The character that you decide to bring to live will have a will of their own. They won't be your puppet and listen to your every commands. You basically doomed the world with the Rat talisman by inserting a godlike being into it if the character in question decides to go rogue.
Horse so that I can eat dairy and beef again. Miss it so much.
The personality is also the one created for him. All you have to do is create a character who's only power and goal is to make you into a ominipotent god with a 10 inches cock and bring it to life.
Horse or Dog. Leaning Horse.
I can heal myself instantaneously of any non magical ailment and I can heal others I care for as well. Can also use it to get cash
Just for reference:
Rooster = Telekinesis/levitation
Ox = Super strength
Snake = Invisibility
Rabbit = Super speed
Sheep = Astral projection
Dragon = Combustion
Rat = Animation
Horse = Healing/Regeneration
Monkey = Shapeshifting
Dog = Immortality/Rejuvenation
Pig = Heat vision
Tiger = Spiritual balance
A tier - Impossibly useful and powerful
>Dog
>Horse
>Rat
B tier - Extreme utility, but not quite as broken
>Rabbit
>Rooster
>Monkey
C tier - Good in a fight, but not for much else
>Ox
>Dragon
>Pig
D tier - Niche uses outclassed by other talismans
>Sheep
>Tiger
>Snake
Dog living the neet dream for all time
I'd say move Ox to B. Just being generally super strong is pretty useful
Snake should be higher
Tiger can go to E tier. Its current state is basically useless unless you are an interrogator using it on a prisoner.
Sheep is in a "fun to fuck around with tier" so long as you are safe from your body being possessed while you are out
Sheep, so I can spy on people
Some evil spirit is going to hijack your body the moment your spirit exits it.
eh, I can live as a ghost. Wait, can ghosts fap?
That's a no limits falacy. That's like assuming you can use the Rooster talisman to move the planet to collide with the sun.
If Shengu had this power he would create omnipotent minions to protect him.
This
Shit just makes no sense bro.
Its like Bohemian Rhapsody and Put-back from Jojo.
I use the rat talisman to bring the rats to life.
So I actually saw tiger as higher than snake, since it provides a kind of psychological benefit that would even be hard to get from immortality or perfect health.
I might not have a good enough imagination for snake, it seems useful for espionage (which sheep does better) or for personal security (which dog or horse would do better). I guess it does sneak thief pretty well but plenty of other talismans can outclass security systems with less effort.
>move ox to B
I can get behind that one, I see it as C+.
F = ma so you could hypothetically do as much or more damage with just throwing an object at super speed but doesn't quite have the utility of speed (vs rabbit)
It seems less useful to have to directly manipulate objects (vs rooster)
Shapeshifting has a fuckton of application and is really limited by imagination but I could see it swapping with ox depending on the scenario (personally I would rather look like a model than be super strong but I also wouldn't really use talismans for crimefighting)
>Spiritual balance
what does that even mean?
It is how you can use ALL the Talismans at once
Aren't the Horse and Dog Tailsmans the exact same thing?
If we can only have one then I'd go with horse. Pain sucks. If we were allowed to have two I'd go with rooster and rabbit for flying.
Horse is regenerative-healing factor, Dog is invulnerability. Totally different things. Horse can also be used on others besides the user while Dog can only be used by the user.
It lets you split into two people if you split the tailsman as well use all tailsmans at once when whole.
One heals you and stops pain
The other is just immortality, possibly death prevention
No. One is more beneficial personally while the other is more versatile and can benefit more people
Dog = Immortal and vigor. Supposedly nothing can kill you and you will always have energy. You can still feel pain though
Horse = Near instantly heal any injury on both animate and inanimate objects. You can heal yourself or others of any injury or disease as well as repair any damaged object. You aren't immortal however
Then I choose Horse. I'd like to spread the wealth and heal others too.
Horse is healing, Dog is immortality.
With Horse you can still die if something kills you fast and hard enough. With Dog you can get fucked up hard enough that you'll wish you were dead.
Gives you acrobatic balance
Gives you emotional harmony
If split can be used to cause physical or emotional imbalance in target (either splitting their emotional state or their entire body into two diametrically opposed good/evil versions)
Lets you use other talismans together effectively
regeneration doesnt mean you dont feel pain.
also, arent if I remembering the show right, isnt Dog a better version of Horse?
I haven't watched the show in years and only recall it being used to turn things into animals. Does the Monkey let you be a cute girl?
>spread the wealth and heal others too
thats is how you get peole kidnapping you to figure out your secret
I'd pick Rabbit. Super speed would make getting to and from work a lot easier.
Yeah but I can get rid of pain fast, which is the next best thing. Ever had a tooth ache? That shit is debilitating as hell.
I specifically remember a talisman fight where someone had Dog and got hurt badly. Then right after, their talisman got switched with Horse and felt immediately better
what number?
Probably Finn, Ratso, or Chou.
Hak Fu refused to use half of them, I remember that his justification for not wanting the Dog was "No man can kill me".
The show had conflicting descriptions of dog which makes that question hard to answer.
On the one hand, dog was shown to not prevent pain sustained by the wielder but it was also shown to give a kind of invulnerability to certain attacks (where the attack doesn't phase the user at all and doesn't even scuff up or burn their outfit).
Not really. Horse is far more versatile in its power but let absolute extreme.
Dog is just a straight up "you pretty much can't be killed and have energy" benefit. Problem is if you get fucked up its still going to HURT like a mother fucker and that'll linger for some degree of time. Though you do appear to heal faster than normal. Like one time Uncle Chan got fucking smashed through a concrete wall whiel wielding it and was down for the count but was back on his feet shortly later in the episode or one of the goons who had it one time, took a bad hit, and went "Being immortal still hurts." while groaning in pain
Horse is basically near instant auto heal. If you are hurt that shit is gone in a snap and you can use it not only to cure yourself of any disease, injury, or ailment, but you can also use it on others as well and repair objects. Problem is you don't have the safety net of dog so if you are overkilled you will most likely die unless there was some instance where its auto heal saved someone from something that would have killed them. Either way you aren't straight up immortal with it
Wasn't rooster gravity based IIRC?
Unfortunately no [read: probably not]
Its shapeshifting was limited to turning anything into an animal (also animates inanimate objects with the transformation). It DOES however have the option to turn into an animal of the opposite sex so you could hypothetically try for human female and hope it gives you a cute one.
Gives you speed-limited flight, lets you lift and throw objects with your mind. It had nothing to do with attracting objects by mass and it seemed to amplify your strength psychically (jade struggled to lift a room full of boxes but adult characters could throw around toru and heavy vehicles without much issue). It was often used to resist gravity I guess but it definitely didn't seem to follow any kind of adjusted version of F = G(m1*m2)/(r^2).
I've said this in the last couple of threads on this topic we've had, but it'd be a lot more interesting if we chose 2 or 3 Talismans rather than just 1
>I'd say move Ox to B. Just being generally super strong is pretty useful
agreed especially since it does confer at least some enhanced durability
What are the limits on Monkey? Am I taking other forms, or am I Plastic-Man?
Only get to turn into animals
Not sure if you can even turn into extinct animals
Eh. Does Ox come with some invulnerability?
That tattoo episode woke up something inside of me. Anyone else?
No but you can give ghost blow jobs.
It made fucking Quetzalcoatl real
Monkey lets you turn anything you direct it at into an animal
So you could turn a stone into a statue. So it's slightly more useful
Jackie's attacks seemed ineffectual against el-Toro when he was wearing the mask, but jackie also struggled against Tohru in the early episodes so idduno
You are extra durable by virtue of having super strength I think
I kinda wish this show had a wider selection of superpowers, to be honest.
Warframe has spoiled me.
But did it give Quetzalcoatl giant tits?
Rat
