Preservation of digital media intimidates me. Over time all the drives you own will be inoperable, which means you'll be copying stuff over and over for quite a while in the future. Data can be corrupted, backups can fail and in the end not everything you care about will survive.
I guess paper has similar limitations as it can burn and it does deteriorate over time but then again we have old photographs and ancient manuscripts that are still legible. How can computer data compete with such longevity?

I read an article about the election that gave Sverige Demokraterne a lot of seats and the tl;dr of it was that if UN inspectors had been present, they'd have voided the election because it was arranged in a way so anyone with more than 2 braincells would know wether you voted for SD or someone else.
