Both in the show and in the comic, Niles is an old-fashioned fuck who stubbornly hates anything new or innovative. In the Morrison comic, he basically forces Cliff to keep his retro body because he thinks it's perfect and refuses to innovate on it in any way, only allows Magnus (of the Steel Men) to make him a new one under extreme pressure, and only designs him a new one because both the old ones were destroyed and he didn't have any other choice.

Magnus is so underrated.
The guy is a legitimate genius that gets overlooked by most writers. Gods and Monsters did him justice though.

I think it's because he is mostly human with some metal. Most cyborgs are vastly more metal than human, at least on the outside.

Because he isn't a walking Mother Box Maguffin and he has a backstory and motivation that's well-written. Not to mention his part-man, part-machine struggle is done well here rather than being some stupid pseudo-science mind virus.

That was brought up in the show. Robotman could have been better than Cyborg but the Chief is a prick

I had to stop watching. I love Fras-bot, even if it's a stuntman in the costume. But I utterly despise Jane, I hate characters like on Heroes who can magically have any power that fits the plot.

Those two even eachother out, but when (((they))) started pushing their agenda, the negatives outweighed the positives. Started out so promising too :(

I like Henry Pym and Magnus for being mad scientists on the side of good. Gods and Monster Magnus what a evil Magnus could do.

I know it's small touch but I think the track suits help.

I'm just saying that shes mentally ill (which is undeniably true, I mean that's literally what multiple personality disorder is) and that she unfairly blamed other men for what her father did to her (Black Annis literally would't let Cliff pass until he confirmed he didn't have a dick and wasn't really a man.)
I mean fuck, a big part of the well scene is her realizing that Cliff cares and that she cares about him and doesn't want to let what happen to her father ruin something good like him.
I mean hell, the TV show made it even more blatant by having the literal strawman being one of the few people to actually help Cliff out

Being a robot seems pretty cool, you're practically immortal in 99% of situations but can still kill yourself if you really wanted to.

I watched Monkey Bones about a month ago. Even in that movie Brendan Fraser is doing a lot stunts. Looking back, really wasn't worth it for a movie like that
