Are you sure you're not thinking of Superman Beyond? >During the San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Morrison announced that he is currently working on a follow-up, tentatively titled Arkham Asylum 2. Described as a Luc Besson-esque thriller, the sequel will take place in the future timeline Morrison created where Damian Wayne, Batman's son, has grown up to become an adult Batman of his own. Comic book artist Chris Burnham, who collaborated with Morrison in Batman Incorporated, is attached to work on the project. While the graphic novel is described as a 120-page effort, further details or a release date have yet to be announced.[28]
I know this will come off as overly bligatory and obvious, but Spider-Man is probably the most nerdiest superhero out of all superheroes of today. I know it's stupid, considering he IS a nerd, but when you look into it, all of his rogues deal with science experiments (Electro, Lizard, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Venom) or having spider-related motifs (being a predator (Kraven) to a spider(man), or just cryptic chemistry and science bullshit in general, it's no wonder why Ditko was such a Randian in his day and age. He loved spending time cooped up in his apartment reading Atlas Shrugged because it was THE ONLY THING HE COULD DO.
You know there is something that I really like about The Riddler in batman comics, even in his more simple versions (the game version) he is a character who can defy the intelligence of Batman, sometimes Batman loses his track even when he is so notorious (I mean, have you seen his fashion tastes? Hehe...). In a certain way I think that Riddler games help him to be a better detective because he needs to keep investigating and expanding his knowledge to keep his track.
Sometimes I feel like Batman isn't fair with Riddler, he practically does cheat with all that future like gadgets and he can always see all the details. A real detective is very different, a good detective most likely will see the biggest picture of a case but the small details will remain in the unknown because not all of them can be seen for someone who was never in the crime scene at the moment. But even if Batman weren't a cheater he will keep trying or at least that's what I think of him because hey he is the hero of the story.
>Question. Why do people think being part of the nuclear family gives them a greater right to live?
This page surprised me, because Riddler is very smart. The answer is: Because in the deep down it's the human nature to like that kind of things, it doens't matter the time or the place, or even country it will always be attractive to the people, because most part of the world wish or even covet. It will never be out of fashion even if some people think that need to change.
The inner nature of the people will never change and in fact it's always subconsciously in people, that's why less nuclear families such as gay matrimonies try to emulate a straight relationship, there is always a man and a woman in the relationship, they take the roles, a man is weaker than the other one or more delicate or he copies certain female characteristics the way he walks, the tone of his voice, her gestures, the kind of clothes that she wears.
It's the same with women (lesbians), in the media they are portrayed as a woman-woman (a delicate and beutiful girl) and a woman-man (a toughter version of a woman, usually bigger and less beautiful and more masculine)
As consequence, gay characters feel unnatural and forced to act according a cliche but there is not other way to write them because they don't have their own "dynamic" in the real life.
Romantic relationships between men are hated for straight men because they consider them ridiculous or disgusting. Imagine a man treating delicately, gently a dude the double of his size hehe
Batman comics's philosophy is something that I really like, because it offers a different perspective of the bad guys that our hero confronts. Batman's villain aren't the typical "hahah" villain, long time ago they used to be normal people with different lives, talents, ideas and qualities until a certain of their lives in which something began to go wrong. Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Clayface and of course the Joker himself, they are all tragic characters with their own personal problems, stories and tragedies. Most part of the people don't see like that because they don't know and most likely they don't want to know about their origins, they only see the monsters and their masks and the consequences of the directions of their lives, they ignore how a bad day can transform completely the life of a person in a bad way, as if it was weird to see two people being killed in the street and they keep thinking "that man wouldn't be me, I am better" and keep thinking of them as ugly and depraved creatures with no feelings which need to be exterminated.
Batman is a different hero of the superman, he wasn't someone with a big destiny, he was just a boy who watched a movie in a night of winter and he said "I want to be El Zorro" so he practiced and he practiced how to use that mask but not much time later the circumstances attacked him too and that boy discovered that it was just a fantasy in that way he was forced to be Batman. But because he experimented such situation when he found a bunch of people disguised just like him he began to notice how similar they were to him except because the circumstances and origins were different. Then Batman said "How can I judge them? When I was so close to be like them." quickly he understood that life is never how you dreamed it "Was he really so unlucky?" he said himself and he felt bad for the monsters. [part 1/2]

Then Batman felt even sadder for the monsters.
Then he decided that he just wanted to say to the freaks "Hey you guys are cool".
Batman is weird as a hero because he has a peculiar weakness, he can emphasize with his enemies at a different level than other protagonists. As consequence the real problem of the narrative in his comics is that even Joker (his main enemy) is absolutely safe of being killed someday. Batman knows that he will get nothing from kill him, because there is not a victory in the death of a person. He understands it very well, it will not bring any kind of benefit to him or the society so... who cares? [Goofy mode on... sorry]
Joker doesn't need to feel worried about Batman, in fact he won from the very beginning of this story. In that sense it means that Batman and Joker are simply playing a game without a great ambitiou. He was just having fun playing with Joker and Riddler.
