Holy shit Archer is still going?
I don't think these characters are good enough that they can just freely insert them into any setting.
I feel the opposite; inserting them into new settings is the only thing keeping them relatively fresh in comparison to previous seasons.
Oof. At least it 'looks' good. That last season had no redeeming qualities besides muscle Pam. Hopefully that post apocalyptic show in the same style that they have coming out will be decent. Funny this is the last season and he won't be coming out of his coma.

...The post apocalyptic show ostensibly starring Abajean with a different name got canned in preproduction almost two years ago

I always heard the 10th season would be the end of Coma. Then thery wanted to finish the series with an(live action) movie.

They're STILL making Archer?
Cassius & Clay was shelved two years ago to make way for a Louis CK animated show, that then moved to TBS, and then was itself canned in the wake of jerkoffgate.
I haven't watched since vice. Has anything happened?
They moved to LA, started a detective agency, dicked around a bit, and then Archer got shot and has been in a coma ever since. The last two seasons have been Archer's coma dreams; basically an excuse to put the characters in completely different setting with different backstories. The first one was a 1940s LA noir, the most recent season was a 1930s island adventure, and this one is an Alien-style sci-fi.
Do I need to watch Space: 1999 first?
A sort of agree with this but the reuslts have been hit or miss.
