I liked it. I mean, the best parts of anime are the action scenes and the fanservice, and Keijo blended them together perfectly. Sure, I'd never watch it with my mom, but it's ironically fun, once you stop taking it so seriously.

I'd criticize a lack of weight to the motions but it's kind of a common issue these days.

I blame George Lucas' prequels for that. And Dragon Ball Z a bit. I mean they were kind of justified since most of the fights were airborn.

But ironically I feel like the low-frame rate animations actually helped give a sense of weight to some the hits.

My biggest problem with that scene is a better writer would have had titgirl duck at the last second while assgirl flies over her head into the water.

If the show was meant to be played straight. It failed. If the show was meant to be played for laughs. It failed anyway because playing things straight would have been funnier.

It's an ecchi comedy show about fighting that doesn't understand how fights can be funny that covers all the naughty bits in obnoxious glow effects. How do you fuck up that badly?

But the animation quality over in Japan is will never be surpassed and that's obvious enough already.
