>guy was able to play three different Flashss in his life
Not sure how to feel about this, but he makes a great Jay.
It’s a shame he was so underutilized
After speaking with him over the weekend, he also clearly loves the flash mythos and is a legit fan of the comics
It's a shame we got such a shitty Hank after him
obvious choice.
Dafoe as Norman in the same movie was fucking great too.
God I miss Jay.
Was the last time we saw him “Enter Flashtime”?
Brie Larson as Carol Danvers
>Hank will never have his own radio psychiatry show
I mean she’s ok not a great movie though, hopefully she’ll be better in Endgame
Worst timeline
All of Spider-Man had great casting, but he was the cherry on top.
I love that he has appeared in multiple different shows and Animations as Constantine, really hoping they bring him in on Swamp Thing
Tom Cavanagh was the best Thawne.
While I do find it annoying that they keep contriving reasons to have him back, I do love that he comes back because hes such a good actor.
Also, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold even if he was hamming it up.
>the best beast
>the worst x-men film at the time
>never plays the role again
I hope he enjoyed the role or at least knew people loved him for it.
Both were shit. Do you even read Flash?
I just rewatched Spider-man and Spider-man 2. Nostalgiafags aren't wrong. All the characters are well utilized with great lines. Now, Everytime I watch an MCU film, I'll feel like I'm getting a diet version of what I should get.
I thought Patrick Wilson was a good Nite Owl.
Wesley Snipes as Blade?
I thought he was great in season one, but he's definitely been more of an overactor since then.
He was pretty bad in the Earth X crossover since he was really emphasizing the whisper voice.
I actually think Matt Lescher was a great Reverse Flash and more suited to the openly Eobard than Tom is.
I feel like Tom is more of a sneaky Eobard planning kind of guy.

amateurs
Nah, she's too softspoken for Carol.
Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley
Didn't he show up again at the end of DOFP?
>overbearing obnoxious cunt
yeah, checks out.
Yeah. Rorschach was also fantastic casting.
Overall Watchmen is a weird mix of really good and really poor casting.
Who was cast poorly?
Best casting in the show.
Fouck Yah Brendan Frasier!
Not scruffy enough
My nerd-self wishes he didn't die so quickly, but hey, Quality over Quantity.
Does animated count? Because Jeffrey Combs voicing Queation is fantastic.
JLU has the best voiceactors for cape TV but maybe its because of my Nostalgia.
>Lex
>Joker
>Ace
(From the top of my head)
I think only Devil Ray was pretty wonky, the rest are great.
Damn Jay was based
It's not just your nostalgia. Andrea Romano was a voice directing goddess and the DCAU as a whole stands as a pinnacle of her achievements.
Hmm... What ever happened to Dwayne? Didn’t see him show up in CN anymore.
Pic rel was ideal, yours is uninspired and plain wrong.
Jeffrey Combs is amazing regardless. Dude can probably order a coffee and still come off as strange and menacing.

Combs little stint as The Chief in the Doom Patrol shorts were great as well, I think he’s genuinely perfect in every role he’s in
Rorschach and Nite Owl: great
Comedian and Manhattan: good
Ozymandias: crap
Silk Spectre: whatever, she's just a slut
Shame he doesn't have the face to pull it off live action
>Once famous man whose body broke and he went into obscurity but eventually is trying to find his place again.
Appropriate in more ways than one.
batfleck
Honestly I agree with all these, as well as RDJ as Iron Man, Sebastian and Bucky and Evans as Cap
Those three really are, I can’t picture anybody but them in their respective roles now
Reminder that he wasn't suppose to be in DOFP, but really wanted to play Beast again and asked if he could show up at the end, and went through hours of makeup all so he could show up for five seconds and say "Hello, Logan."
That's how much Kelsey Grammer loved being Beast.
What was wrong with ozy? thought he was okay
Live action:
Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach
RDJ as Iron Man
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
Christopher Reeve as Superman
Ian McKellen as Magneto
J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson
Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock
Animated/Video Games:
Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor
Mark Hamill as Joker
Matt Ryan as Constantine
Alan Tudyk as Green Arrow
James Woods as Owlman
Tim Daly as Superman
Kevin Conroy as Batman
Kahyr Payton as Cyborg
Anyone else?
finally someone mentioned him, feel like most of the casting on that show is pretty spot on
If I can add to this list, I'd say
Chris Evans as Captain America
Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier
Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury (Excluding Captain Marvel, fuck that film for ruining him)
Then voices,
Josh Keaton as Spectacular Spider-Man
How the fuck did I miss Josh Keaton?
Who's the King of Kingpins?
Your missing John Wesley Shipp as Jay Garrick, say what you will about the rest of the DCWverse but his Jay is on point and every time he’s on screen it’s a great episode
Left is the best kingpin ands down, even better than comics at points
Brad Garrett as both Lobo and Bibbo Bibbowski.
Holy Crap Left's the reason I didn't join the army and plays Kingpin like no one else. Excellent casting to be sure.
No one knows how to spell his last name, lol.
Based choices by based anons
This.
Michael Ironside as Darkseid and Ed Asner as Granny Goodness
Good choices
Asshole playing an asshole who is being pushed on everyone even though they aren't popular.
Ok yeah checks out that is really good casting.
Stick man trying to play a person who perfectied his body, mind, and social status to the peak of human capability.
I mean I know Ozy is portrayed in the book as the closest thing man can get to being a god but then who'd be perfect for that role then? Also I don't get the problem with casting of Laurie, girl was pretty hot and in the comic she was just a hot cocksleeve Manhattan and Dan came in. Patrick Wilson and the dude who played Rorshack were phenomenal tho, and the scene where Dan goes ape shit on that topknot when he learned Hollis died was kino
I remember internet forums back in the day. Him as Beast and Stewart as Xavier were literally the castings that everyone wanted. As shitty as The Last Stand was, it was cool seeing Grammar.
>Also, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold even if he was hamming it up.
The Flash S1 rogue gallery was such fucking over the top Saturday morning nonsense that had me grinning from ear to ear. The way Miller delivered his lines were great.
In all honesty, killing him off in LoT S1 was a criminal mistake. Both the Flash and LoT could've made excellent long term use of him.
He did. And curse Logan for making people think that's the non-canon ending.
Yep.
>tfw when that rumored Earth-3 two-parter all about Jay didn't happen
Another thing is Jay won’t be appearing at all for the rest of the season, here’s hoping we get him for Crisis as both Flash-90 and Jay Garrick
LOGAN is the non-canon one, as evidenced by the comic books.
Logan is canon and so is the ending, things went to shit between the ending and Logan
Casein point
Robert Knepper was an amazing Clock King
Really Ozy is the only poorly cast one IMO.
I’m hoping we get Jay showing up on Stargirl.
>Here's a flash fact for you...
>You're not half the Lantern Allan Scot was?
I asked him yesterday at a con, he said he would love to be on Stargirl but they have not contacted him about that and is hoping Geoff Johns contacts him about it at some point
Burn
Find something proving me wrong
Logan takes place way after DoFp
Also Jeremy Renner
what the fuck is that?
theres no way that was shown on TV
Boy do I have a surprise for you.
youtube.com
I kinda love it. Flash to me is a lot about the endless possibilities of time and the multiverse. The fact its played by the same people in different roles kinda add to that.
The shows graphics can be pretty brutal
I do love that DC always finds a way to bring in people who used to play characters in another franchise and finds a way to fit them in, really brings home the idea of the multiverse
How old are you?
This is basically nothing compared to shit in Doom Patrol
Neat
>Ctrl+F
>Ron Perlman

I'm not mad, Yea Forums, just disappointed.
I’m just saying for a show on National TV it is, yeah Doom Patrol is more graphic but there is also a pay wall behind it and they have the ability to be as graphic as they want
Silk Spectre I was pretty solid casting. Laurie was awful.
Kevin Nash as The Russian from that shitty punisher film
No, the other one
he may have been an absolute fucknut regarding the role but Jim Carrey in kick-Ass 2
Best part of the GL movie
Lynda Carter as Bronze Age Wondie
eh, its not a good Russian without dialouge
but Thomas Jane will always be a perfect Punisher, the guy can really pull of that ''dead inside'' look
i liked Rorschachs acting but i didnt like his voice honestly, i always imagined Rorschach with a less gravelly voice
I like how even made it work by having Jay Garrick be Henry Allen's doppelganger from an universe where for whatever reason his mother never married into the Allen family, thus allowing you to presume Earth-90's Barry was just born earlier than Earth-1 Barry and looks like his dad.
Christopher Daniel Barnes as Spider-Man.
Josh Keaton was also great
Daredevil is available on DVD and is way worse
Also fuck you for saying 'the shows graphics'
Are you an idiot? DVD is not the same as being shown on Primetime television on a non cable/satellite station also Graphics is another term for Special Effects
>cast RDJ, an actor with real ass experience with addiction, as Tony Stark: Alcoholic Man
>Proceed to half ass a sudo-Demon in a Bottle story for a mediocre as hell sequel
I will remain mad until I die, they had an actual chance to not only adapt one of Iron Man's most defining stories, but also let RDJ tap into his personal experiences for some genuine acting to take place. But no, instead we got Iron Man 2.
Calling shit graphics when you mean CGI or special effects makes you sounds really out of touch and dumb as shit
What about shit like Legion?
It is extremely unlikely that RDJ would have gone along with such a thing, considering his ego.
he's just playing himself. It's no different than Sam Jackson as Nick Fury
I'm with you, my brother.
Legion is cable, are you not from the US? The regular network stations are NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX and CW there are other networks sandwiched in between but those are the big 5 everything else is either cable or Satelite which you would normally pay for and is in a different category of what they can get away with from what Network TV can
I can get behind this. The hype for him in Endgame is palpable.
Mark Strong as Dr. Sivana wa surprisingly good
Fury is different. Fury was Sam Jackson long before Sam Jackson was Fury. It's quite literally the role he was born to play.
Im not from America no
Name a role Jeffrey Combs does that he isn't fantastic in.
He was in Elseworlds, albeit barely
fuck no
I loved him him in Hurt Locker and other stuff but nah
Not the user you are arguing with but shit are you an idiot
Cool as Sinestro too.
Should've given him a better suit though.
David Warner as Ra's al Ghul.
Feels good man. I love it when perfectly cast actors love the characters they play. It's like they were born to play that character.
Not comic book related, but I know that James Woods loves playing Hades so much he insists on voicing him in every appearance and that Vincent Price considered Ratigan one of his favorite roles.
