In one of the old threads there was two other worlds written up:
>1. Horrorverse-Real World: real-life Ed and Lorraine Warren, Amityville Horror, Ed Gein (who was the inspiration for Norman Bates, Leatherface, Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs), and so on.
>2. Horrorverse Fictionalized Real World: Conjuring, Annabelle, Amityville films. I know that WNU's description for #2 really means that it's still "realistic", but since this is a Horrorverse, a Fictionalized Real World Horrorverse should probably mean the supernatural is more obvious as seen in the films, as opposed to real life where you can easily debunk stuff. I assume this may be where the "real" world of Wes Craven's New Nightmare also takes place
The Ruins of the Horrorverse.
>Ancient cuneiform tells of a squid-headed god called Cthulhu...the same tablet also says that smashing an olive with a rock ensures pregnancy without intercourse...
>Vlad Tepes never died, but underwent dealings with the Scholomance to become a vampire....so said his political enemies and The Turks. Really, he just had his head lopped off and was buried near Castle Bran...
>Victor Frankenstein was arrested in 1795 for digging up corpses, he used his family connections to get out of it. Some still say a Monster lurks the area of Frankenstein castle though...so too at just about every castle in Switzerland-Germany inhabited by nobles who fought in the Crusades.
>Dr. Jekyll believed that the key to becoming a truly good man was to separate his evil side into it's own being, by a mixture of various salts and acids, which he then consumed and...dropped dead.
>Dr. Hawley Griffin, believing he has found the key to invisibility, consumes a mixture of bleach and a powder known as Monocaine...see above.
>Captain Elliott Spencer, traumatized by man's inhumanity to man during the Great War, turns to drugs and sadomasochism, then hears tell of a secret puzzle box, which he opens and...well, it looks nice and he manages to afford some more booze for another night by selling it, until he gets kicked into the gutters, winds up in an East End drug den, and dies from infections brought on by shitty acupuncture.
>Lawrence Talbot is bitten by a wolf on a foggy night near a gypsy camp, soon he starts drooling, gnashing his teeth and behaving violently....sadly, Welsh hospitals don't carry Rabies vaccines. R.I.P. Talbot.
>In 1945, nuclear bombs were dropped on Japan....millions of people were killed. That's about it.
>Captain Lucas of the Black Lagoon tells fascinating stories of a Devonian relic, half-man, half-fish. He even has pictures of it for the cheap, cheap price of $500 Dollars, gringo.
Go on...
Man, we've really got to stop dying.
Who are everybody in the bottom two rows except Pyramid Head and NuPennywise
Guy to the right of Pyramid Head is named Art the Clown, real sick fuck
I know we talked about aliens attracted to Earth because of the demonic presence
Art the Clown is there, from what I can tell. Don't know the other guy.
Last thread was 404'd for some reason
>When you're just throwing shit all over the wall till your final girl shows up
Killer from Power Drill Massacre, Strangers from The Strangers, Adelaide from Us
So should FVJVA: Nightmare Warriors be the definitive end for Freddy?
Lately I've been thinking chucky and scream would fit in a crossover.
But not as a vs sort of thing.
Oh then what do you mean?
I'd rather say that the smart ones are getting the fuck out whilst the getting's good. IIRC, the Foundation developed FTL and decided to explore a hyper advanced, Shkadov-Thruster building alien race which promptly stole and replicated their FTL tech within hours. They left only a simple thank-you note and a strong word of advice for the Foundation to get out of the galaxy as fast as they can.
maybe but anyway he comes back
Sounds about right, i was thinking more Krites or Killer Klowns,
Well... It kinda depends.
Can Dracula control the Predator with his blood-magic-shenanigans? Can he turn the Yautja into a vampiric Predator?
Basically this fight will have to happen at night, for two reasons.
1, Dracula is defenseless and it would be boring if the Predator attacked in the daylight.
2, Dracula is defenseless and the Predator wouldn't want a boring fight so he will wait until nighttime (I think...)
Dracula could probably evade the Predator; I think Dracula actually turns into like a thick cloud of smoke and flies around like that sometimes. He can also transform into a Bat but also a Dog so the Predator could be fooled given that they tend to only attack worthy opponents.
Round 1 should give Dracula enough fodder to overwhelm the Predator when the fight finally comes; maybe a dozen or so Mongolians will be enough to keep the Predator busy and let Dracula get in for a bite. One bite might not do it but eventually that'll turn the Predator into Dracula's slave.
1 and 2 go to Dracula 6/10 IMO, because the Predator could still cut him in half which might be enough to kill him.
3 I am tempted to give to the predator, because Dracula probably will try and overwhelm him immediately and not prepare/sneak up on the predator, which might result in exploded Vampire.
I'm not certain about the durability of Dracula since he only ever gets hurt when he dies, and that's only when he is weak.
chucky in the last movie had the power to be in multiple dolls and currently owns a new human body, i was thinking maybe chucky in this story he's the ghost face killer.
Gotta admit, thatd Ben an interesting as fuck movie
The Klowns may as well be demons themselves. They're only "aliens" in the sense that they travel through space to get to us.
I always wondered why that ended the way it did, he would never gain any of his powers that way.
Here are the confirmed Horror Hosts for this verse. To qualify, they have to be shown to exist in a physical sense and have roles outside of being a horror host (such as origin stories, solo stories, crossovers, appearances in other media) or be shown to manipulate, intervene in or influence the events of stories, or tailor them to individuals (sometimes as a warning).
It’s a time paradox thing, we just don’t have any basis for time travel.
There was talk about the Klowns worshipping Pennywise, similar to the Clown Cult in Stitches
Love this!
Though I'd definitely root for the predator in this fight (love me an underdog), I think Dracula would win this one, assuming all rounds were at night, which is what I think you meant, OP?
In Stoker's novel, Dracula is borderline untouchable when active. Actually, he can literally become untouchable, dissolving into a mist at one point. Even if predator did know how to ward him off with a cross, Dracula's also able to manipulate his surroundings. He could easily hypnotize any surrounding soldiers/civilians to do his bidding. Throw enough of them at the Yautja, he'll drop the cross
The Klowns seem to worship the largest and most powerful amongst their own number, so I could definitely see them doing the same for Pennywise.
There was also the idea of a non-powered Earth, like the way Ennis has the MAX world with Punisher and Fury and no other superheroes. Still slightly unrealistic, but grounded with no superpowers, so the Horrorverse equivalent would be one with no obvious supernatural (and if there is, it can be handwaved away as hallucinations or other things).
This might be where Halloween '78 and Halloween 2018 take place. Maybe the first Friday the 13th but not the sequels?
Sam is cutest monster
Hmm, I remember Leslie Vernon had it’s Jason, Michael and Freddy just be regular guys who use trickery, not sure how Freddy’s worked, could use that
If Leslie Vernon exists in the non-powered Earth, then you'll have to imagine that whenever Freddy or Chucky are referenced, it's about the stuff they did before they died. On the non-powered Earth, the transfer to the doll doesn't work, and Freddy doesn't come back to kill people in their dreams.
Need your help finding this comics in english, horrorbros
>Jason vs. Jason X
>Freddy vs. Ash vs. Jason
>Jason vs. Leatherface
>Marvel's A Nightmare on Elm Street
If we're going with a non-powered Earth then most slashers like Leslie probably get by on Months of planning and preparation to explain why someone like him didn't die in the fire
When you're a slasher in a non-powered Earth then you're essentially playing 4D chess to survive and keep going long enough to not die
unless you're Leslie and that was your plan from the get go
Speaking of Hosts, Alan Moore went and used The Nemesis of Neglect (from a political cartoon) as an EC-style host in the recent LOEG Tempest.
The original Nemesis of Neglect was used for a comic to imply that Jack the Ripper's rampage was created by the East End of London's problems.
I don't think LOEG would fit in the Horrorverse, but it's just something to bring up.
Well it'd probably be on the same principle on how Punisher is able to survive in Punisher MAX.
it's freddy nightmare part of the horrorverse ?
Mmm, yeah he’s a Horror Host, like a Watcher
I like it a lot, guess we could apply the same to Killjoy and maybe Art, he’s definitely supernatural
And damn, that was nasty
Liking these ruins a lot
>The pig’s blood showered over Carrie...... and she remained shook at the humiliation, crying as the laughter went on
A few threads ago there was talk about how many cape-related characters would be in. Vast majority of Marvel/DC superheroes don't exist, or only exist as fictional comics. There's no Avengers, or Justice League, or X-Men or anything like that in the Horrorverse.
Horror/Supernatural ones like Etrigan, Ghost Rider, maybe Spawn, could be in, though in some cases would be in limited capacity. Spectre for instance got depowered into a horror host. You'll have to vote on the rest, though. But I say that if they're limited to a certain area then it's okay, Like Swamp Thing just hangs around in Louisiana and doesn't venture out much.
The vast majority of known superheroes without supernatural-related stuff are the non-powered ones as seen in Hack/Slash here. Some are superpowered, like Fantomah and The Heap, but that's supernatural related. The non-powered ones are easy to get rid of like it says in the pages, some retired, some got busted, a few kept going. One of the heroes shown in this page is Crimebuster, who hung up his cape in 1950 and just busted crime in plainclothes and then went off to college.
One of the characters in Hack/Slash says that there were people who watched and read The Shadow, Superman, and Batman and got inspired. I'm thinking Superman is fictional, The Shadow is real but he's a horror host and sometimes intervenes in a form similar to the pulp Shadow (but the general public don't know this), and Batman would be an urban legend, there was the idea brought up in other threads where the Horrorverse has Doom That Came To Gotham and Vampire Batman as canon, but happening to separate people who're Batman.
This is hilarious
Has anyone written all this down in one big document yet? Like the forces for good, the hosts, the stuff about Klaatu being an angel, etc?
Hmm yet
I mean other than the links, nah, we should probably get something on pastebin
Good idea
do female predators exist??
Most definitely,
>YWN have a Mandibles GF
So much pain
They do. The Yautja actually live in a matriarchy. Their females are bigger, more violent, and are stronger than the males.
Excuse me, but do you all have a moment to talk about our Lord and destructor, Volguus Zildrohar?
Hey! I was born a Fredhead and I’ll die a Fredhead! And even then, I’d rather join Chucky’s cult
Go
Cute, and New Kink jotted down
We've talked about USA's Monster Squad (A revolving roster composed of Laurie Strode, Tina Shepard, Erin Harson, Buffy Summers, Sidney Prescott, Andy Barclay and others. Maybe ocasional appearances by chosen one Ash whenever they fight things that are too tough), but what about other countries?
Japan's Monster Squad could be fun, mostly because of how we're building Horrorverse Japan to be this place filled with Kaiju attacks, emotional ghosts, fucked up gore shit, a mutant virus epidemic, metal fetishists and iron men, and the entire lore of weird japanese mythical creatures.
So who could be the Hunters in the land of the rising sun? I know we have Ruko from Tokyo Gore Police, I'd like to add Kung-Fu from Hausu, given that we're okay with changing canon stories so she lives at the end.
Any more ideas?
I'm mostly just into this idea because of the potential in "Monster Squad International" team-up stories.
Also Horrorverse Italy is prolly the most kino country.
Aww boy, Am I at a disadvantage here, I’m only aware of Junji Ito J-Horror wise, and can’t think of any heroes he’s got
Ultraman
holy shit did Uzumaki happen in the horrorverse? Just imagine the headlines.
based. But is he horror? I haven't watched Ultra/m/an so I can't argue against him, but Kamen Rider for example toes the line from time to time. Showa-era monsters are these horrifying body-horror people and did try to make some scenes scary.
So yeah, I'm up for horror versions of some toku characters. Horrorverse Takeshi Hongo could be this semi-machine body-horror mess of a broken men who fights other body-horror creatures in desperate attempts to fix his sanity, or something
Does Attack of the Killer Tomatoes count?
Dont see why not, on the same level as Killer Klowns
Yeah, let’s add Ito stuff, would love to see Tomie in this
I don't know much about Japanese horror beyond kaiju but such a team could be based out of the Hausu, like how the Justice League Dark used the House of Mystery as their headquarters
>But is he horror?
Depends on the Ultra, but he occasionally veers into it. Like with shit such as Gan Q, or Bullton.
Why boner?
I'm up for it. Ito has a lot of unique horror stuff that'd make the setting richer.
I just haven't read anything of his besides Uzumaki, so you have the floor if you wanna get creative
BASED
I hadn't even considered a base of operations, holy shit.
Okay, so what if Monster Squads are basically low-level Avengers? There's a Nick Fury type figure who has a list of great survalists and powerful people, and whenever there's a threat he thinks they can face, he calls them?
There's SCP for reality-breaking entities and other weird shit, MIB for alien immigration, Ghostbusters for ghosts and paranormal additionals, and street-level Monster Squads for smaller, more manageable situations.
Too comic-booky? Not horror enough?
I just can't think of a perfect headquarters or character to be this leader/recruiter for Monster Squad USA.
Fair enough, seems to be enough material there to make some horror version of him.
But the real question is, has he crossed over with Godzilla? Do they ocasionally fight together in the Horrorverse?
Maybe a Van Helsing descendant? And no, Ultraman’s never crossed over with Godzilla
Lewd
>But the real question is, has he crossed over with Godzilla?
Not in the main continuity. But in City Shrouded In Shadow, there's a pretty big multi-cross between Ultra, Goji, and Evnagelion. Though in the shows proper, Goji's roar is re-used for many monsters throughout that franchise, and some are blatant copies of him.
>Do they ocasionally fight together in the Horrorverse?
Probably. Most Ultra's would find the majority of Godzilla's incarnations to be pretty good company I think.
S-stop!
crossover with godzilla i guess yes
Does anyone have that horror comic about a giant alien floating head causing body horror on some stereotypical suburban family handy? It was fairly short but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
maybe is pinhead
The one where the little girl gets turned into a monster and rips her dad's eyes out?
Yeah that one
I love Predator logic
>Meet the maker of man
>Deck that fucker
>my favorite isnt on here
get fukd
bump
don't they also have really duck level crazy sex?
What’s your favorite shit?
Based
Nice
Anyway we can add the Addams Family?
Yeah, how does the whole Engineer/Xenomorph/Yautja thing work
We also talked about Gamera being an avatar of Maturin
Wait, what’s duck levels crazy?
In the comics it just seemed that the Yautja are their own thing and want to hunt the Engineers
Some people think the Engineers made them
The only time we've seen evidence of the two races meeting was a Engineer helmet in a Yautja trophy case in AvPR
One of the scrapped things for The Predator was that the Yautja have time travel and that's how they encountered the Xenomorphs
Damn that sounds cool
Other tha Tomie,I’m admittedly not familiar besides Gyo, but that’s rather apocalyptic
We could use stuff like DC’s Earth 20 and Marvel Zombies Earth in the multiverse
It's a shame nobody talks about this series. It's definitely been one of Dynamite's best books in years. The bigger shame is that the constant delays are probably gonna kill any interest in it like Dynamite's John Wick series.
Years before he called them "The Addams", Charles Addams wanted to collaborate with Ray Bradbury on doing a whole book about his Elliot Family characters from the October Country stories 'Homecoming' and 'Uncle Einar', and even produced some art that was used posthumously for From The Dust Returned, and apparently some of the art was recycled for later Addams Family cartoons. Maybe the Addams are relations.
The Addams also once observed The Hudsons from 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?', Gomez once mentioned attending the opening of the House of Wax and Morticia sometimes has an Audrey Jr-style man-eating plant.
They could fit.
Versions of them could probably exist somewhere in the multiverse. There was also a Hack/Slash crossover with Halloweenman where they faced zombies that were deliberate knock-offs of the Marvel Zombies.
Plus Army of Darkness and MZ crossed over
how does scream fit ?
We mentioned that some slashers get movies made, like Chucky, so the horror stuff mentioned in Scream did happen, they just watched the movie adaptation.
One of the Horrorverse's many notorious serial killings.
Given how Scream is very meta and almost parodies slasher films, maybe the Ghostface killings are considered a product of people inspired by Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees?
I wonder how the average horrorvserse citizen feels about the hundreds of serial killers they've had since the 80s. Are they used to it? Do they celebrate them? Is there a Slasher-con where enthusiasts go dressed as Jason Vorhees and shit?
It may be bizarre and in bad taste, but they need to let out some steam after this week's zombie outbreak desu.
I’d say it’s like the True Crime Community taken to the extreme, guys like Jason, Freddy, Michael get letters or even sacrifices
I think in the Horrorverse they're more openly okay with glorifying "real-life" slashers like Freddy and Jason and all that, compared to how in the real-world real-life serial killers are shunned by the general public even if they have their fans (like for instance the women who write to Ted Bundy while he was in prison). And the idea of doing it to let out steam makes some sense due to the craziness that sometimes happens (and they sometimes lose memory of).
That too. I was thinking about this and I feel like the local multiverse of the Horrorverse would be mainly other horror themed ones, like Earth-13 from Multiversity or the Marvel Zombies Earth or the Chaos Comics Earth. It's like, the Army of Darkness/Marvel Zombies crossover is canon, but not the part where Zombies interact with the Ultimate Universe (or the Ape universe, or Earth-616), and it's some other Horror World that has to fight the Zombie Fantastic Four off.
LIking that Multiverse a lot, you could have other Earths where horror apocalypses did end up happening
Damn, you learn something every day, think we could add the Munsters?
There probably is an alternate Earth where all the zombie apocalypses happen (assuming nothing contradicts each other), like maybe Romero's stuff, maybe Walking Dead, Fulci's Zombie, etc, where organizations like SCP, MIB, BPRD, etc don't exist (and neither do the people involved in them).
Another would be a world suggested in one of the threads by someone where probably 99% of humanity has been replaced by different aliens and beings, like the They Live aliens, the creatures from the movie Society, the aliens in that Twilight Zone episode, etc (if you want you can even throw the Skrulls and Dire Wraiths into it), but the catch is they don't know that most of humanity has already been replaced, and its alien trying to uncover alien in a secret war. In that universe, most overt alien invasions (like in Mars Attacks or War of the Worlds or Independence Day or whatever) are easily stopped within hours because of all the different alien factions knowing how to deal with the overt aliens.
Hmmm, damn this isn’t good, we could also have that DC Earth where everybody is a vampire,I think we talked about adding Supernatural, so use their apocalyptic Earth too
where's Joe Bob?
Yeah, Earth-43 and the Apocalyptic Supernatural universe is probably in that Horror Multiverse, too. Also one Earth under complete control by Skynet, one Earth like the Ruins-style version mentioned by and so on.
There'd also be the Earth with the Marvel Werewolves, that Ash landed on in Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness' ending.
If you're doing a Ruins version of the Horrorverse I think you can throw in the Ruins version of Johnny Blaze as a nod to Ellis. I would've also suggested Island Zero from Planetary but that means that the giant monsters existed before.
Can Dead Space fit anywhere here?
did we talk about sharknado ?
Yeah, definitely can. We'd have to assume that Horrorverse humanity never found the Marker though, as that lies only lies them getting Moon'd.
No, damnit how could we miss it! Along with other fine shark pictures like Five Headed Shark Attack and Sharktopus vs Whalewolf
zombie shark , and the original shark
Ghost Shark, Roboshark, that Mega Shark
Dbd
Oh yeah, we’ve talked about the Entity being a key player in the Horrorverse
I just want a Necromorph/Xenomorph war desu
We mentioned here that the Entity is constantly getting cockblocked by other eldritch beings that have made Earth their home because the Entities goal is to consume earth and that would put a damper on the other Eldritch gods plans
I have an idea where slashers like Myers could leave any time they want as Myers is implied to have wandered in there on purpose and that some supernatural slashers are aware of the Entity and do best to avoid it as they’d rather kill on their own terms and not someone elses
Sounds like a kickass idea, where do we stand on Myers anyway, if we use H-6, do we really have him as an embodiment of evil or should he just be a Samhain powered killer?
Well the Myers in DBD is the same Myers from Halloween 1 and would technically mean the 2018 as well
The fact they refer to the idea that Myers willingly came to the Entity implies the later implications that Myers is the embodiment of Evil
With that being said I’d say lesser slashers would try and stay clear of Myers as even bullets don’t deter him
DBD is admittedly shaky, because you also got Remake Freddy instead of Englund, maybe an alternate Freddy?
Everyone just pretends DBD remake Freddy is Englund Freddy so let’s just do that ourselves
Don't mind us, just being the nightmare beings of southeast asia.
Who’s this?
Merchant resident evil
What of it?
is Merchant resident evil
Hot!
All the timelines except Rob Zombie's use 1978 Halloween as the starting point I think. Is there anything else in the game that hints at him being any other version of Michael?
No, it’s just Myers from the first movie as Laurie strode from the first one is also present
>Be Beholding
>Finally get an Archivist that doesn't suck
>Rival Powers rituals getting sabotaged left and right, methods to stop them being observed and recorded
>At last, the time approaches to initiate the Watcher's Crown and replace all reality
>Get to the cusp of the ritual, Archivist almost completely changed into physical representative
>Suddenly for rolls in, hairy limbs reach out and yank Archivist away just at the height of the ritual
>Fat spider bastard ruined everything completely
>mfw
>In 1951, with the world shuddering at every new report of developments between America and Russia, it seems nothing will stop humanity from wiping itself out, However, a Day comes when all technology ceases to work. A man calling himself 'Klaatu' takes credit, saying he has come from space to issue a warning...He is then killed by a lynch mob who take his claim seriously. Power eventually returns, simply the result of a worldwide blackout. The Cold War resumes.
>In 1958 Dr. Andre DeLambe of Ottawa invents a teleporter, which will break down matter into atoms and transport it, as electricity, to another telepod where it will reassemble itself. He gets in the teleporter with a fly one day and...he does indeed succeed at transporting an electrical current into telepod B, sadly at the cost of electrocuting himself and the fly. Seth Brundle of the Bartok institute attempts the same experiment decades later in 1986 and takes precautions, they do indeed work and he lives...in horrible, burnt, pus-spewing, crippled agony, prompting his girlfriend to shoot him as a mercy kill.
>Teenagers Tony Rivers (who believes himself to be a werewolf), Nancy Perkins (who believes herself to be vampire) and an unidentified youth who was hideously disfigured in a car crash and nicknamed "Frankenstein" go on killing sprees...eminent psychiatrist Dr. Fredric Wertham blames it on comic books.
>Young hydrocephalic Jason Voorhees wanders into the water at Camp Crystal Lake, NJ while the counselors are busy having sex. However, he washes ashore and...is found by his mother, who sues the hell out of manager Steve Christy and writes an award-winning autobiography that is made into an award-winning film starring Betsy Palmer and Ron Howard. However, local old-timer Ralph still claims Jason really drowned, and warns everyone to beware the area's death curse, although local trucker Enos tells everyone to ignore Ralph when he's been drinking.
Predator hunts the Horrorverse
Imagine being Pennywise and you're about to consume some nice children lunch only to be snatched up by the Entity
The Entity tries to nerf your powers so you don't leave but you're a Stephen King Eldritch horror so you beat the Entities shit in and take some of the killers and survivors back to Earth to fuck with it and leave it back at square one
Nice Idea
Both versions of The Fly are already in the "everything that can go wrong does" universe
Knowing the Entity, it would just repair what damage was done, fortify itself, and go back to just being the greatest irritance in all the Horrorverse.
Neat!
Ralph was aware...
DBD remake Freddy looks like remake Freddy but IIRC is voiced by Englund. If there's nothing else in DBD other than his look that references the remake, then just pretend it is the original.
If DBD Myers is just '78 Myers then making him 4-6 version wouldn't be a problem would it?
What like, he can see into the Non-Ruins Earths?
>Ralph had the powers to be a Horror Host, but he squandered it by drinking and never realized his full potential...
Wait, there is one issue. Quentin Smith from the 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street remake is in DBD.
You could still have him be from the original, Freddy’s had hundreds of victims, there had to be at least one named Quentin Smith
What's behind this door, boys?
Sam from Trick R Treat?
Should the Twilight Zone be a separate Earth or remain a dimension? Remember that kid from “It’s a Good Life”?
>Also Horrorverse Italy is prolly the most kino country.
Could you share some examples?
I think they did Cannibal Holocaust
i checked in the wiki, it is indeed made in italy
also holy shit that plot of the movie!
Not Fun At All Fact: All those animals died for real, and Somewhat Fun Fact: The Director was charged for murder of the actors and had to prove they were alive
What’s the one with Wertham from?
Italian horror movies go places
Some episodes may take place on the main Horrorverse Earth (but you'll have to see if there are any that could fit) while others take place on other Earths. Think of how Uatu narrates What If (looking into other Marvel worlds) but is supposed to be the Watcher of Earth-616. The same probably applies to the other Horror Hosts, except maybe Freddy (since he's stuck narrating Springwood, Ohio stuff).
Michael myers?
More the Addams are more Macabre/Gallows Humor than straight up Horror.
I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Blood of Dracula, and I Was a Teenage Frankenstein
vampire diaries ?
It did have comics, surprisingly.
Damn, I gotta check those out
I still say “It’s a Good Life” could fit in, though the kid would have to be stuck in his town, probably also exclude any of thirds episodes like the one where everyone had a pig nose, or where the guy who liked to read had his glasses break in a nuclear wasteland
[Spoiler] jud ...
that's a good made trailer
Slenderman
I think you could just say that Anthony Fremont just cut off Peaksville, Ohio from the universe and everyone else in the world doesn't realize it's missing, not even the government groups, because they're not looking for it and/or the kid's power is too strong to be detected. You'd have to go through the episode list to see what else could fit in though.
This also probably applies to the other Horror Hosts in and you'd have to go through the old EC Horror comics, the Warren mags, etc to see which could fit in the Horrorverse and which would take place on other Earths in the Horror Multiverse.
Yeah, still not sure what Judy is
Who is judy ?
All the stories from Creepshow could, minus the one with the meteorite
The ultimate big bad of Twin Peaks. She's basically what would happen if you took Satan, merged him with God, blended the resulting horror with some metaphysical commentary on Lynch's life philosophy, and then set the result loose upon existence.
Who the hell is that on the bottom left?
pyramid head
did we talk about dead space?
No real specifics yet though
Who is the miner looking guy suppose to be?
man I wish we had a spring break killer type monster that was just an empty diving suit
Guy from My Bloody Valentine
Is that Amanda?
Since Swamp Thing exists in the Horrorverse and has an interest in keeping humanity around, he'd probably deal with it.
What about Man Thing?
Also exists too, he just mainly stays in Florida while Swamp Thing is usually in Louisiana but sometimes ventures out.
Swamp Thing exists and is trying to protect nature, but so does Nurgle. And Nurgle oh so loves Swamp Thing just as much as he does his various children, and keeps on trying to give him "gifts" through form of plagues.
Shin Godzilla gets the same due to being seen as a true beauty by the Fly Lord. Some of Nurgle's cultists are currently attempting to unfreeze the behemoth.
Killer Party was a slasher about someone wearing a diving suit.
Or maybe the suit was possessed, I forget.
Anyway, it was cut to shit in terms of violence, and I don't think the excised footage was ever recovered. It's also one of the few slashers set around April Fools.
We're not gonna talk about Judy.
In fact, we're not gonna talk about Judy at all
he deserved a better movie desu
Indeed
Yes
is that old it ?
Nicee
Who're the two at the bottom?
Michael looks like
Good
pyramid head ,michael ?
Left one of them’s the guy from creepshow, not sure about the guy on the right
Tim Curry Pennywise yeah
did we talk about supernatural ?
Yeah, we mentioned it, but no specifics either
Me walking in the door.
Both are different incarnations of The Creep from Creepshow (left) and Creepshow 2 (right).
Sweet Zombie Jesus, who made this
Johnny Ryan, I think.
God, this is horrifiying, does he have other stuff like it?
Damn gotta see that
I absolutely love Krueger, but this goes to Slender Man. I imagine the confrontation going as such:
Kruger walking down the middle of the street in a suburban housing development. No street lights, only a mild blue aura coming from a barely visible moon hiding behind translucent clouds. A light fog setting an ominous mood. Kruger stops and feels something behind him, looks to see a shadowy figure in the distance.
"NO, NO, NO, THIS IS MY GAME!" Krueger rasps. "YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAS BEEN STEALING MY CHILDREN! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL DIEEEEE!" Krueger paces toward the figure at full sprint, finger claws ready by his side.
He lunges toward Slender Man with a furious swipe, only to cut through the thickening mist. The air is dense with water, seeming to thicken by the second. Krueger looks to his clawed mitt and begins to feel something alien. Fear.
"COME OUT TO PLAY, FREAK," shrieks Freddy with a higher pitched voice than he intended. He starts walking aimlessly down the road, unknowingly gravitating toward his old stomping ground, 1428 Elm St. As he approaches he notices the familiar profile of the home he used to love so much.
"Heh," Chuckled Krueger, "Home sweet home!" He stepped onto the yard feeling more confident, not knowing he was entering his own tomb. He slid across the yard, now singing to himself, and whatever was stalking him an old favorite; "one, two Freddy's coming for you..." He approaches the door and opens it slowly, mist flooding into the open portal.
Freddy steps through the threshold and shuts the door behind him. He takes a step forward with a feeling of dread. He shut the door, but didn't hear it close. Instinctively he slashes behind him ripping wallpaper and slicing through drywall only to see, and cut, nothingness. As he turns back around there only enveloping blackness, and a man too tall, wearing a black suit
Like the writing here.a few typos but good
I think he's a regular Horror host, not a Horror Host like the other ones. Unless you can find an example of him interacting with a story he's narrating.
Yeah, Slender takes it pretty decisively. Though I don't think it would really put any effort into any confrontation.
What are his powers again?
>Pyrokinesis
>Virokinesis
>Slender-Walking (he's essentially omnipresent when not kept in one spot via someone's observation)
>Timeline manip
>Slender Sickness
>can cause Dimensional Bleeding by his mere presence, merging realities together
>absurd physical strength via his tendrils, which can break and cut through space-time
>reality distortion
>casual transmutation
>other shit I'm probably forgetting
Damn, that’s Big Two Level
I still don't understand what he even does. Like, here's this long list of powers that are probably made up on the spot and he just.. fucks with people?
Pretty much. He's crazily overpowered, but he basically doesn't give a shit.
I also jsut remembered that one theory thrown around regarding his nature is that he's essentially a multiverse unto himself. The only reason why he hasn't naturally subsumed creation by his mere existence is because it's actively rejecting him.
He doesn't care. That's the big theory. Slender doesn't give a fuck about displaying how powerful he actually is, and is perfectly content to just be that thing that occasionally snatches a person or two and disappears. If he wanted, he could end everything, but he's purely apathetic regarding that. Or anything really.
Who is bottom right?
the pig or the clown ?
Could Guys th Dream abilities affect Azatoth?
Yes
What about Slenderman vs Pennywise?
Can we include Control here after it's released. The Oldest House is exactly the kind of thing I can see fitting into the Horrorverse.
Uh, what’s it about?
She hot
The main plot of the game is that an organization known as the Federal Bureau of Control works to contain anomalies and protect the world from malevolent supernatural forces, from within the head of their operations, the Oldest House, a place that defies reality, physics, and general sense. The main character is the current head of the Bureau following her predecessor and most of the org being killed by a vile force known as the Hiss, which has infested the Oldest House and corrupted many of the people within and the functions of the site. It also may or may not be truly run by a giant black pyramid.
Well damn, sounds par for the course, I vote yes
Male ducks are notoriously horny, like almost as bad as dolphins, if not worse.
If Slendy actually takes the fight seriously? Probably him. Him not having emotions, fears, or even thoughts as we understand them makes him immune to much of what IT can bring out, and going full Deadlights is unlikely to work out well either.
Even Donald and Daffy?
good trailer , yes
Damn, is there anybody on Slenderman’s level that’s not on also out of his league?
If we include the rest of the Fear Mythos? Then them. The Magnus Archive Powers have the potential to subsume all reality in one fell swoop, but that requires massive rituals with massive setups, and if those rituals are foiled then it can take upwards of a hundred years for them to reclaim all the strength needed to try again, whilst Slender ruins reality by his mere presence. There's Golden Freddy, but even with UCN, he's not really in that level of strength. And the Entity is pretty much a scavenger trying to build up enough power to fully assimilate reality, but it lacks both efficiency and speed. And so on.
Ol' Fear Dubh is in that position of strength where he's basically untouchable and unstoppable short of bringing in the major upper tiers, which utterly outclass him. Anything less is shit out of luck.
Slenderman 10/10 with absolute ease. While they are probably both cosmic-level entities with various paranormal abilities, Pennywise is proven to have rules, weaknesses and needs. Slenderman has none of those things. He has never been killed, successfully attacked or weakened, afaik. It's safe to assume that no physical form or other means would be able to instill fear in the Slenderman, severely weakening Pemmywise's range of options and making him vulnerable. Killing Slenderman as we know him so far is a feat on the same level as killing Cthulhu. Both, as a storytelling device, aren't meant to be overcome or killed, they're meant to be survived.
>they're meant to be survived.
Even then, this is still pretty rare with Slenderman. You usually either die horribly (or worse), or if you survive, yore essentially so fucked up that you can never function in society again, and you'll always be a paranoid wreck wondering when you'll finally be taken.
Yautja hunt them like anything else, Xenomorphs probably hate them on some level for being the shittiest parent figures ever, and the Engineers are too busy being dicks to care about the other two.
scp could deal with slender ?
They'd just slap a sticky note on his most preferred woods and call it a day. Trying to fight Slenderman is a game you'll always lose, and the Foundation wouldn't want to waste resources going up against something that doesn't make a point of anything overtly evil beyond snatching a bare few people every once in a while.
They seem to hate Yautja

Nice
Jesus, wonder how that kid happened
Did we talk about Satan yet? Which version should we use? And how does he compare to Cthulhu gods?
There are multiple Satan entities, far as I can tell. The Hell God from Godzilla In Hell is one of them, and is basically a Mythos deity already, but it's not the only one.
Should we have like a “true” Satan or...
I've talked about Night Land being the far far far far off conclusion to the Horrorverse, but even that doesn't have a prime power behind all evil. We should just leave it ambiguous.
Fear mythos?
thefearmythos.fandom.com
Basically, it's an expanded canon to try and sorta tie a lot of different Creepypasta concepts together into one cohesive whole.
i think yes
did we make a JL ?
It's also made by the same people who made Alan Wake and its numerous spinoffs, so they have experience in creating unsettling experiences.
I think we should consider all "major" portrayals of Satan, but minor or ambiguous ones to be lesser demons claiming his name. Marvel and DC use that policy too.
The Yanomamo unironically did nothing wrong.
That poor turtle
All of those animals got the shit end of the stick. To the point one of the actors actually broke down over it.
This pic is now just missing The Plague. And the female members of The Legion, if you feel they should be included.
Not yet, as far as I know.
I would rather kill myself than live in a world where every piece of horror fiction was real.
Assuming you get the luxury for that before someone or something offs you

Should we include Fate and Strange?
Yes , and illyana ?
Mmm, yeah, but I forget if ahe’s a mutant or not, and we can’t have too many X-gene mutants. Wrong Turn ones are alright
Freddy, pls.
I don't really think so; if you have them come together then you have another superteam that would assemble on a regular basis. I think they'd sometimes gather to fight off a large threat, but it's an infrequent thing. Non-powered characters gathering together could be possible though.
I don't know if Fate or Strange should be included, unless you avoid giving them the large-scale power they have in the comics and/or are busy with the other-dimensional threats. Plus arguably I'd say Doctor Mordrid is a Doctor Strange-type. So I don't know if you need Strange himself or not.
Illyana, maybe, as long as you come up with a version of her that omits all the X-Men related stuff in her backstory. Like you can keep S'ym and Belasco but remove any connection to Nightcrawler, Colossus, etc. It'd be like Sony trying to omit Spider-Man stuff from Venom.
Well, I think they can fit, albeit not aware of who Doctor Mordrid is. And I like that way of thinking with certain characters, although not sure about Nightcrawer, think he’s a son of an actual demon

Jason, no. Run away whilst you can.
how would fit annabelle ?
Oh, just another demon, nothing too hard to fit in, just another tragic tale that happens in the Horrorverse.
Yaldabaoth and the Scarlet King are actually known to snatch human souls that have ended up in the astral plane. So even death is no escape.
Hmm, liking the use of the Puppet Master guys, any specific lineup or all?

That's a good bame
Doctor Mordrid's a sorcerer tasked with watching over Earth since the 1840's (since they said it was 150 years and the movie takes place in the early 90's), to defend the Earth against Kabal, an evil sorcerer whom he imprisoned back then.
The story about the making of the film is that they originally planned to make a Doctor Strange movie and had stuff written and designed, but then lost the rights. So they just altered it and made it its own thing. Doctor Strange was changed to Doctor Mordrid, Baron Mordo was changed to Kabal, and I assume Ancient One was changed to Monitor. And even then they changed a bunch of things like backstory: Mordrid and Kabal came from another dimension and both were trained to become sorcerors at a young age and took different paths.
I did consider the idea of putting Doctor Strange into the Horrorverse but I figure if you've got Doctor Mordrid around for more than a century you don't have to bring in Doctor Strange, and just pretend that some Strange adventures were done by by Mordrid (not all of them will be possible since they're still very distinct characters).

Isn’t Godzilla more neutral?
It depends on the Godzilla. Showa and Heisei were dicks when they first started for instance, but became closer to steadfast heroes over time (less so in Heisei's case, but it was still noticeable), and Junior is purely heroic when he grows up too. And Legendary is essentially heroic from the get go, but in a "grizzled war hero" kind of way.
Only certain incarnations are out and out malevolent, like Earth.
I know we got Shin and Legendary running around, but what about Classic and Earth Godzilla
Classic is probably out there somewhere, doing his own thing. The factors that led to Earth manifesting have probably been negated here though. Which is likely for the best.
pyramid head looks like he has a huge boner
Best as in for the world or best as in for the Horrorverse as a concept? Because I kinda like the apocalyptic future Godzilla: Earth has, or should that be another Earth?
Best for the world. Earth is purposefully malevolent and goes out of his way to kill all things that aren't either him or derived from him, which is most everything. And he's strong enough that he *succeeds* at this in canon.
Unless some of the ungodly cosmic horrors in the verse came in and slapped him down, or the Foundation immediately hit the reset-button, things very quickly go FUBAR.
Not!Bennings.
let's make the other list
Hmm, probably add the Leviathan and the Entity in there
Slendy too.
Maybe the Wishmaster?

Yaldabaoth and the other SCP big baddies could also be in there. But there's WAY too many to list.
So Horrorverse Ruins Earth is like Marvel’s Earth-1218 and DC’s Earth Prime?
It's based off Warren Ellis's Ruins series where Marvel's heroes and villains existed, but their powers all failed and resulted in their deaths, monstrousness and disease. Here, since horror is built on death, plagues and monsters already, there simply was no working supernatural element, but yes, all the characters did exist, things just turned out even worse for them.
Like, there was a Freddy Krueger, but his story ended with him being burned by a mob. No dream powers, nothing. Cthulhu was an ancient deity who was believed to be real eons ago, not an invention of Lovecraft's, but he still wasn't actually real.
If this was like 1218 or Earth Prime, they would simply be fictional characters.
No, the Earth-1218 and Earth-Prime would be more like >1. Horrorverse-Real World: real-life Ed and Lorraine Warren, Amityville Horror, Ed Gein (who was the inspiration for Norman Bates, Leatherface, Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs), and so on.
Where supernatural is either not real or extremely limited or at least not measurable enough.
The Ruins one would be more like a world where things went horribly wrong for supernatural stuff.
Also Lorraine Warren passed away recently.
Oh really? Well, at least she’s with Ed.
>Necronomicon ?
Should we add the Mother from Stephen King’s Revival?
Speaking of horror movies-
Brahms did nothing wrong.
Hmm what does she does?
She’s the master of the Null, a form of the After Life. The Null is a dimension where human souls go to be enslaved by Lovecraftian deities
could would fit jaws ?
I guess Jaws probably might, you'll have to decide if the sequels do.
I see no issue, you could probably fit any of them
Yes
This brings up an interesting topic:
How fucked is the ocean in the Horrorverse?
ness monster , shark-nado and all other types of sharks
>In 1989, a prom queen named Laura Palmer was found dead on a beach and FBI agent Dale Cooper went on to investigate. The culprit was determined to be her father Leland, who claimed to be possessed by an entity known as BOB... which did not hold up in court. Cooper went insane soon after, also claiming to be possessed by BOB, but died from head trauma and bleeding after slamming his head into a mirror.
>At some point, a secret organization known as the SCP Foundation was formed to contain anomalous threats to humanity... and were disbanded soon after when they couldn't find any.
>Rumor has it that there exists a sexually-transmitted curse, where a being will follow the afflicted before killing them and moving on to whoever passed on the curse... Of course, this urban legend was created by fundamentalists to encourage abstinence.
>In the 1980's, a group of teenagers, including Ash Williams, went to a cabin in the woods to party... only to be found dead a week later, murdered by Williams before he chopped off his hand in a fit of insanity, dying from blood loss.
extremely fucked, but consider them isolated incidents in which they all happen months or years a part
Someone probably found SCP 3000 and had a most unfortunate fate. The Balkans are also probably a no-go.
can freddy enter slender mans dreams? wait... does slender man sleep?
severe autism ITT
I don't think Slendy even has a mind as we understand it. In EverymanHYBRID, his greatest proxies are basically extensions of him, facets of his mind and will, which is fundamentally alien and incomprehensible even to them.
Kraken
Slendy and Freddy are such different entities that its difficult to imagine a confrontation between the two of them. Freddy would try to get into slendermans head with snide comments, witty catchphrases, and terrible one-liners, but slenderman probably would be totally unaffected. In confrontation, Freddy would slaughter slenderman, but slenderman wouldn't fight him head on in any circumstance.
How's tromaville deal into this?
I know right? So much fun
the average street-level survivors? Who are the ones most likely to survive almost anything the Horrorverse throws at them?
>In confrontation, Freddy would slaughter slenderman
If Slender even decides to use any of his more fucky abilities, Freddy dies. He has no counter for an opponent who can suddenly decide you are now imprisoned forever within an eternal torture timeline, or that you fall out of reality entirely.
This thread has reminded me how much it used to trigger my autism when people called him just Slender instead of Slenderman after the game came out.
Reminds me of how I get annoyed when people call Ghostface “Scream” or “Scary Movie”
Eh, I've seen people shorten it to Slendy before, or refer to him by any of his other innumerable titles (some of which are stupid weird or obscure) so I'm used to it.
Like Sunnydale, Sleepy Hollow, Vasaria, Arkham, Burkitsville and many other cursed towns, it has a Hellmouth that attracts the demonic. However, this particular Hellmouth leads to the Hell of the Comedyverse, so things, while grotesque, are of a more comical nature, and it's laws of sitcom good luck and rubber-reality physics allow for things like all the slapstick in those movies and Toxie not being considered a slasher villain himself.
Or maybe it's just Jersey.
Yeah, Slendy as a term has pretty much been around since the original Marble Hornets days so I know it's a dumb pet peeve. It mostly stemmed from people just considering that his name due to the game being titled that. Then again Marble Hornets was originally going to be called "The Slender Tapes" so it was inevitable.

Totally fucking underrated. How fucking terrifying would a necromorphed predator or xenomorph be?
A shit load, have you seen those Lurkers? That’s just with a baby
Should we add that Sabbac guy from those Shazam comics?
Not sure about that.
By the way I saw someone finally had Brightburn spoilers in and assuming it's self-contained like the thread implies, I guess it could be included.
Yeah, given the fact Brandon’s species is already dead and other aliens killed them, I’d say yeah
How powerful would a Predator be after harvesting his autism?
Should any of these demons be excluded?
Jeez. Sounds like everything I feared it would be.
Gunn peaked with Citizen Toxie.
They would not be able to harness the limitless autism without incinerating themselves. CWC was created at the birth of the universe, and can only die when it ends*. Planets with blue rings (arms) have been wiped out by him in fits of pique. Every day, the Cult of the Kiwi grows larger.
*See Jose Chung's "The Shadow over Ruckersville" Weird Tales, June 1936.
Well Etrigan is already in. I think a few posts ago someone asked if Illyana was in, and I guess we're not entire sure yet? I assume Mephisto or a version of him is in because of Ghost Rider. Blackheart as well if you want to make it like the Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider. Shuma-Gorath, Nightmare and Dormammu would only be in if you go with the idea of Doctor Mordrid fighting them instead of Doctor Strange.
I'm not sure about including Trigon. Neron I don't think should be in because his whole thing was empowering supervillains (and some superheroes). With not that many superheroes and supervillains there's no reason to do that. I also don't think Blaze and Satanus should be in because they're supposed to be Shazam the wizard's children, and I don't think we need to include Shazam either. I don't know about including Surtur. I also don't feel like the Marvel version of Norse mythology needs to be included unless someone can give a reason. Set is a maybe if you limit it to just the Conan and Kull stuff and do a different modern day thing instead of involving Marvel superheroes.
I don't recognize or remember the rest, you got any names for them?
Squid guy is Shuma Gorath, Guy with Horns and symbol is Sabbac, Shuma Gorath is squid with big eye and I honestly forget the rest
Yeah, I mentioned Shuma-Gorath. I didn't recognize Sabbac since I didn't read Outsiders, I was thinking of the one from the old Captain Marvel comics. Anyway reading through, I don't think he should be in because he relies on the original Sabbac, and his origins/backstory involves either Captain Marvel, or Captain Marvel Jr and Sivana. That ends up bringing up the question of who would be his opponent if there's no Captain Marvel or Outsiders to oppose?
Mmm, true. Sorry Sabbac
Oh wait, there's another take on Neron from the New 52:
dc.fandom.com
The idea there is that he faced John Constantine (and also Apollo and Midnighter, but you'll have to ignore that for the Horrorverse). I guess if you want to use Neron it'd have to be that one.
Slenderman, because Pennywise is fraction of bigger cosmic being who is dying.
Constantine is ded.
He's either trapped in a limbo as 40 year old bartender serving alcohol to hipster comic book writers or is retconned into mediocre comic book antihero.
Really?
That'd probably have to be another Earth since Earth Godzilla surfaced during the 2030's.
Scaroused again
Yeah, let’s just have it be another Earth, should we keep it relatively infinite, the amount of Earths?
Yes
Because some earths are too far gone to say “it got better” later on
did we talk about the animatronics ?
Not really, anybody have a quick easy recap on the animatronics of FNAF?
who is the blonde ?
I think Illyana
Illyana
In the first few threads, yeah. A bit of it was regarding how ridiculous Golden Freddy is.
Who wins?
Depends. Is there a small boat within Godzilla's reach that he can lightly bump Cthulhu on the head with?
Depends on how you interpret Cthulhu. Is he just some (fuckoff huge, mind) monster that can be brought down with physical force? Or is he an eldritch force whose mere awakening signals man's end?
>Captcha: boats
Us
Hmm yes
.eldritch force whose mere awakening signals man's end
Both; his awakening signals the apocalypse, but Cthulhu himself is merely the strongest of the Great Old Ones, not an actual Outer God. The main challenge for Godzilla would be finding a way to get around Cthulhu's healing factor.
her belly or feet
What’s Yaldabaoth?
soul children animatronics
Unholy multiversal demiurge, and the God of Flesh. Created the physical bodies of mankind, but didn't give them minds or anything, as mindless flesh horrors rutting and cannibalizing themselves without a care is what Yaldabaoth thrives on. Eventually, Mekhane, the god of knowledge and technology came in, granted mankind minds and understanding, went to war against the Demiurge and imprisoned it using its own body.
There's more stuff, but that's the gist of it.
so how powerful are the fnaf animatronics ?
pizzeria and old animatronics , it was about that animatronic were possessed or something like that
There probably are. For the Horror Multiverse, the local Earths are generally horror-related so that usually, when there is some sort of Crossover between Earths it's typically horror vs horror. There are probably infinite Earths and non-Horror ones, but most of the non-Horror Earths get pushed out far from the immediate area.
Think of it kind of like how the Multiversity Map has a local area called The Gloaming which covers the area where Earth-3 (Crime Syndicate), Earth-10 (Nazi Earth), Earth-13 (supernatural Earth), Earth-43 (vampire Batman), etc were at. They're all in the lower left quadrant, and some of the Earths are closer to Hell.
I think the Horror Multiverse works kind of like that, where the Universes in close proximity to Horrorverse-Prime are ones like the Horror Ruins-style Earth, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, the Marvel Zombies Earth, the Chaos Comics Earth, the Dark Tower Earth, the Supernatural apocalypse Earth, some Twilight Zone Earths, and others.
Damn, we really need to find a way to make our Horrorverse version of that map.
Godzilla easily wins with fight.
Cthulhu may be the great grandfather of powerful gods of the Lovecraft Mythology. But Godzilla has defeated monsters much more powerful and bigger. Also, Cthulhu is not as big as many H.P. Lovecraft fans think. Cthulhu is actually 50 meters tall or less, and let's not forget he was defeated by a boat, yes... a boat. Godzilla survived Hell, survived a meteor that destroyed an entire city, survived a black hole, survived nuclear weapons, defeated the greek gods easily and many, many other things. Godzilla has shown great durability like no other kaiju.
OH WAIT! Let's not forget about Godzilla Earth! That huge thing is literally 300 meters tall, his atomic atomic breath can easily destroy ANYTHING. If Godzilla Earth somehow encounters Cthulhu, Godzilla Earth would easily step on him like a bug.
Cthulhu's abilities are basically telepathy, creation of portals of different dimensions and powerful strength. Godzilla has deal with these type of abilities before.
The closest thing to see Cthulhu winning is if he fights Showa Godzilla. Meanwhile all the version of Godzilla after the Showa Era can easily beat Cthulhu.
i think 2 gloves are better
how would hex girls fit ?
They’re just a band, nothing special
Physically? They're basically Terminators, with the added benefit of being fueled by wacky supernatural fuckery on top of being physically ridiculous. Foxy for instance, is fast as shit and has jaws powerful enough to easily crush a man's head, and with cases like Mangle or the Funtimes you have abilities like being able to stick to ceilings and move about like a spider (Mangle can do both, Ballora off her stage creeps like a spider to get places), being utter physical powerhouses (Baby most notably, with her utterly dwarfing her fellows in sheer size), the ability to dispense chemical mixtures (Funtime Foxy), and more.
Those are just for the more physically oriented bots. Blatant supernatural bullshit like the Puppet (casual necromancy, teleportation, levitation, and other abilities) is also fairly common, but the real kicker is Golden Freddy. Once the youngest kid of the primary big bad of the franchise, now he's...something else. A something that has Death Itself on payroll, along with ruling his own Hell realm.
So you people the coding of "others" is intentional on writers, or simply the influences what they don't understand or have felt influencing their work?
Not sure what you mean
Like how many works have a foreign monster appear and harm the livelihood of the regular human characters, or various characters live in fear of their own feelings turning them into a beast that will harm their friends to homosexuality. Is that intentional, or just writer's applying their personal experiences to characters in different situations?
Obviously it varies from author and author, and in some cases they may not even know what they wrote came off like that, but deep in their subconscious they do.
Rivals with Scare Tactics.
Hi all.
A few years ago, I found a web comic on lit that I've been trying to find again to no avail.
It was about a man who gets peeped on by a bug monster, goes through hell, and ends up becoming that very bug monster that peeped on himself from the past.
Does anyone here remember that? Anyone have a name? Thanks
Fug, when i said Yea Forums i meant Yea Forums.
Sorry, haven't been here in a while. Also did invader zim come back? Was it as good/creepy as before?
Uh, no, well the TV movie has been made and is ready to go, we just have no info when Nick will release it
That's fucking it, thank you so much man!
Got it, thanks for the information. Hopefully it turns out decent. I loved that show.
Happy Easter to you both.
And a happy Easter to you!
band of the hororrverse or something like that
infinite cycle...
Would you read a Dream Warriors ongoing with them existing in the dreamworld/afterlife like in the Innovation comics?
it's a silly matchup. Cthulhu's power in this dimension isn't physical for the most part. We've also never seen cthulhu fully awoken from his slumber.
terminators? hardly. The puppet and golden freddy are pretty powerful, but the rest are literally just possessed animatronics. A car could take most of them out fairly easily. Add this to the fact that they're only active at night, and they're not quite as intimidating as all that.
The standard animatronic are still physically, quite horrifyingly strong. And with the Funtimes like Baby, even before they made Ennard, they had all kinds of fucky shit to let them kill someone (or in Baby's case, just tear them apart with brute force). It's not really inaccurate to compare them to Terminators.
Damn that sounds good, yeah Iwould
Damn this almost as dark as that alien head one
we should made one
We kinda need a set number of Earths though, how many are there now?
not yet but let's do it
>Main Earth
>Alien Infiltrated Earth (They Live, Body Snatchers etcetera)
>”Based on a True Story” Earth (Conjuring, Amityville)
>Ruins Earth
>Walking Dead Earth
>Romero Earth
>Godzilla Earth’s Earth
>Resident Evil Earth
>DC’s Earth 13 (The one with Superdemon)
>Marvel’s Earth-2149 (Marvel Zombies)
>Marvel’s Earth- 7085 (Werewolves)
>DC’s Earth 43 (Vampires)
Any others?
Also maybe have the Twilight Zone be a form of the Multiverse within and of itself, or at least its alternate worlds, and any TZ stories that can fit on the main Earth be like leaks from the Twilight Zone, similar to that Comedyverse idea.
Okay so what can the Golden Freddy do
Hm yes
Should we include the Nightmare Before Christmas?
At this point I feel like there should be a comedy/horrorverse, for more lighthearted stuff like nightmare before christmas, the addams family, gravity falls; even scooby doo and ghostbusters.
Probably as an alternate world.
We talked about stuff like Tromaville being leaked from a Comedyverse
Like they replace Azatoth’s or?
indeed
Boats how ?
In one of the stories, he got pierced by a boat
is that the lady from "us" between pennywise and pyramid head? why didn't they yse the red jumpsuit and scissor version? I know the twist ending but still.
>No love for Dolls (1987)
>No love for Puppet Master
fuck this gay earth
Yes
We mentioned Andre Toulon, idiot, maybe check the thread you’rn on, as for Dolls, it’s rather self contained
what doeS golden freddy do ?
He can essentially shut down people's minds (He crashes the game in FNAF 1), turn into a giant head to eat people, and by the time of UCN, he's essentially ascended to become some kind of Hell god.
Hmm, that is rather impressive.
The various universes where Mars Attacks Martians fucks Earth up, like the Topps comics or the movie or the original cards.
Also since there's an Alien Infiltrated Earth, there'd also be one where there's constant overt alien invasions, so not just attacks from Martians, but also like Idependence Day aliens or whatever.
A Fulci Earth
I think some things from the other Universes are similar to the main Horrorverse, just not all of it. The Comedyverse and Horrorverse share Toxic Avenger and Scooby-Doo, but may take different paths.
Think of the DCU and its Multiverse post-Infinite Crisis, but pre-Flashpoint. Billy Batson is Captain Marvel in the main DCU, but he's also on Earth-5 while most DC heroes don't exist there. The main DCU's Batman has Batman: Year One in his history just like the Millerverse's Batman, but took divergent paths before and after Year One.
Always felt it was weird they added Phillip and Jennifer in that series.
Should there be a Purge Universe or should that be in the main universe
like silent hill ...
Not sure how, it’s a government program, actually probably a separate Earth, already got enough government shenanigans with the Tethered
the remake is more serious , and less dark humor
Yo what the fuck is the "Horrorverse"?
Like before it was a universe full of all stuff that is horror, but now it’s kind of a Multiverse
horrorverse prime or 0 ?
Are you guys trying to connect every piece of horror media? Kinda dope
Yeah, we got some slasher stuff, some Lovecraft, Universal monsters, even a few Cape properties, like Etrigan and Ghost Rider, Twilight Zone, King
Slasher Earth. One which only the slashers (Krueger, Jason, etc) are the only horror thing and maybe include the goriest versions of PD horror characters (like for instance that Phantom of the Opera movie starring Robert Englund)
Hmm, I like it, we could do what was suggested here And also have versions in the main universe
i think main
Fitting enough bad future, could see it as being made given the amount of serial killers and murders
which pennywise design is better ? old or mew
So freddy level
Kinda like the old one better, not a fan of 2017’s Victorian look
If we go by Bram Stoker rules it can happen in the day.
If we go by Predator 2 rules. Predator would goad Dracula into a fight. He kill all of Big D's bitches and minions, burn all his shit to the ground, pile up dead vampire babies(if going by Stoker's rules) in his carriage and parrot sayings like " languorous ecstasy and waiting" or "There are kisses for us all"
Also if we are going by Bram Stoker rules Dracula would fucking love the challenge of fighting a Predator so the fight would happen sooner than later.
The fight would likely end in a draw of wristband nuclear explosion
Is there a wiki? Is this like SCP Foundation? Is there an overarching point to these threads? First time poster, lurked a couple but was puzzled.
Nah, so far it's a bunch of threads putting together stuff.
But Buffy and Ash are chosen ones.
Purge would probably be one of the possible timelines. But Possible Timelines are also alternate Earths, too.
>”Based on a True Story” Earth (Conjuring, Amityville)
This World is interesting
It'd be the Conjuring Universe, as depicted in the films. It'd also include the Amityville Horror films, the Haunting in Connecticuit films, Wes Craven's Serpent and the Rainbow film, and others:
en.wikipedia.org
I was also thinking of adding in New Nightmare to this world because it was supposed to be a "real world" that The Entity/"Freddy" invades.
Reminder that one of the biggest threats to evil entities in the Horrorverse is an orange slime
Why does all fanart give 999 eyes? Nowhere in his page does it mention eyes. This shouldn’t bug me as much as it does.
Fits well
Damn, like that a lot, always was trying to figure a way to add NN Freddy
Sort of like a parallel of our world, but with any of those urban legends being actual fact
999 is best boy.
They probably give him eyes to make him more relatable and easily understandable. It'd be difficult to tell what the little guy is thinking otherwise. I've seen a few that have him without eyes, and whilst you can still tell it's 999, it's hard to gauge how happy or caring he might truly be if not for external factors.
What does 999 do?
Causes intense joy and happiness through touch. And if you believe the New Job canon he’s also a child of the Scarlet King and the result of letting 110-Montauk procedure not happen. So once 999 becomes an adult he’ll be able to defeat the Scarlet King.
I think it's best to keep SCP to it's own Earth, same goes for Godzilla and some other properties. Scooby Doo and shit can stay in a universe where most paranormal shit is easily dealt with with little casualties and SCP should just stay where it is because bringing it in opens up over a trillion cans of fucking worms with different gods who make no cohesive sense. Same goes for Mortal Kombat, possibly, as well as shit that's just plain Grimdark like Darkest Dungeon or Warhammer, though The Sleeper and the Ruinous Powers may at least have a little bit of influence over the universe as much as Leviathan.
>teenage 999 is something the Horrorverse might have to eventually deal with.
Unless his biology naturally negates the typical fuckery of teenagers, that's gonna be hell in a handbasket.
I do agree with this. Perhaps the behavior of the Chaos Gods is dependent on whatever universe they're in and how noble/grim it is, so perhaps in one universe (such as Scooby Doo's) entities like Khorne or Tzeentch could be purely benevholent, while in others they could be like the ones we see in 40K.
Thing is, the Foundation has tech that enables it to bridge any number if universes or alt-realities,and there are some indications that in some form, EVERY universe has its own instance of the Foundation, facing off against anomalies. Relegating it all to one Earth wouldn't work. Same for Scooby Doo due to Annunaki fuckery.
not all scp stories are canon lol
We can just ignore anything that causes a lot of fuckery. SCP has tons of crazy shit but we’ve only included Mehkane, Yaldabaoth, and Scarlet King because honestly they’re the only ones that matter. There is other shit like Brothers Death but they rarely ever show up that there’s no point in bringing it up.
They're canon depending on what you take to be canon, along with individual canon hubs being separate realities from mainline. Kinda like Warhammer's own canon policy, but not as fucked.
Fixed your cosmic being alignments
>Ones that won't fuck with you on first sight
Morte Mamme
The Light
Mantorok
Mothra
Mekhane
Maturin (RIP)
The Fireman
>Ones that want to kill you and everyone in existence
Leviathan
The Heart of Darkness
The Ancients
Nurgle
Gozer
The Scarlet King
The Sleeper
>Ones that will kill you, but don't wanna kill everyone at once because they enjoy suffering
Nyarlathotep
King Ghidorah
Pennywise
The Ruinous Powers minus Nurgle
The Entity
I want to suggest a wiki but that might be legit too autistic.
There's no real point besides a fun creative exercise of "what if all/most horror ips happened in the same universe?"
I think a version of SCP and Scooby could exist in the main Horrorverse, but have a modified history compared to the traditional stuff. SCP would be moderately effective in the Horrorverse because there's other organizations doing their thing. You'll just have to choose which entries and things happened and which didn't. With Scooby-Doo you'll have to decide if Mystery Inc (and the subsequent timeline change into Scooby-Doo, Where Are You) fits in.
At the very least, we could have a pastebin
Ugh. Definitely stay away from a Wiki. Those things get ruined so quick or filled with entries for OCs it would make the worst moments of these threads seem preferable.
That could work.
You'd probably have to go through the list of movies to see which ones would be included, though. Like I wouldn't include the original Nightmare on Elm Street because the source is really far removed from the movie.
