Is DC just done with games period, regardless of whether it's console or mobile? They should do Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis 2

Fuck Xbone.

>Is DC just done with games period, regardless of whether it's console or mobile
Yes, they can't afford it anymore

That's not how game production works...

WB wants to keep everything in-house. Montreal is incompetent and just wants to make shitty Bamham rehashes. NR is busy fucking up Mortal Kombat. Rocksteady is doing whatever.

Oh so games don't cost money now? You DC fans get dumber by the hour

You know damn well Rocksteady is juat working on more Batman.
They may as well rename their studio to Batsteady games.

I would genuinely love to see an Aquaman game that were actually good.

>Oh so games don't cost money now?
That's not what I said...

No? Arkham Knight and Injustice 2 both sold really well and they're still supporting their mobile games. If anything, Spider-Man PS4 probably inspired WB to want to make more adventure games with DC characters outside of Batman.

Did they ever release that Future Fight type game outside of South Korea?

Same, you could make a legit beautiful world with current gen graphics

How are these games? I'm asking because part of me still wants to make a game studio and develop actually amazing games for DC stuff.

So bad Xplay made an award called the Golden Mullet Award that they do every year in remembrance of it.

Not only would it be really cool to play as Aquaman and have all the super strength, martial arts abilities with the trident, summoning fish in the sea, swimming super fast everywhere underwater, and super jumping left and right on the surface, but like you said, you could make a bunch of down-right beautiful or otherwise very cool and atmospheric environments too. I've always wanted to play an underwater action-adventure game.

Haven't played it yet but I have Subnautica and I'd like to see how they did an underwater game and if that could apply to Aquaman.

Imagine spending this much time and energy hating a brand instead of ignoring it

DC literally cannot afford to make games anymore.

Also why the fuck are they obsessed with Spider-Man taking selfies? He WOULD NEVER DO THAT. That comprises his secret indentity by putting geosynced data of him being Spider-man on Peter Parker's phone. Fucking normie idiots and they're smearing of normie culture all over everything.

Maybe he has a Spider Phone?

>implying he wouldn't upload the selfies to a different Insta account named TheRealSpiderMan

That would be too compromising as well.

>Implying a social outcast with the DNA of a reclusive creature would give a shit at all about socializing with a world who thinks he's a menace

You don't understand Spider-man.

>being this autistic about a cartoon superhero

Different versions of classic characters exist user, changing things up a bit is good sometimes

Thinking about details is "autistic" apparently. Just like glossing over the details and brainless accepting things without thinking is very cognitive normal of you.

Yeah, actually.

It's not that it can't be a different version, it's that it doesn't consider the original at all. People really don't THINK about Spider-man is my point. They don't put themselves in his shoes, they don't try to understand his perspective. And they're getting lazier and worse with this, this is why they have him taking selfies. No one is considering the stuff I outline, why would someone protecting their identity take self-shots. I know Peter takes pics of Spider-man but he does so in a way that makes it look like he's two different people. A selfie is totally opposite of that. That's what they're not getting...

Also the way Spider-man moves is so bizarre to how he should/would be moving. They literally just have him flying around, like he just catches the spider webs as he's swinging. They don't seem to every think about the physical aspects of swinging, how one would have to move if the air, how strong the webs would have to be, how he's have to hold or climb on the webs, etc etc.

I work a job that involves a lot of coiling cables, slinging ropes and ties. I do a little poi sometimes too. The way you move around with ropes and climbing is very specific and I'd wish some artists would think about that stuff more so it's not just pseudo-flying. He doesn't move like a spider either, which is fast and twitchy.
