U.S. Trailer

International Trailer
I don't want to see either version of this movie but the US trailer makes it look like a series of disconnected vignettes about how funny animals are for amerifats and the international trailer actually makes it looks like it has a plot.
>What executives think America wants in a trailer
>A genuine trailer
Why did this get a sequel?
Americans are genuinely incapable of not buying a ticket to a funny animal movie.
Goddamn I hate rap music so fucking much.
What an excellent trailer!
Too bad the movie will be barely passable garbage
so same shit "we gotta find someone" from the first one again?
Am I the only one who thinks this looks like Illumination's best effort to date? It feels more ambitious with it's storytelling.
dont be fooled.
The visuals I'm the first movies are my favorite I've ever seen in any 3D movie so I'll happily torrent this movie
THE DOG ATE SHIT LOL XD
>It feels more ambitious with its storytelling.
That's how they get you. First, they hook you with a trailer that looks like they give a fuck, but it turns out to be uninspired trash. Much like their other films with the exception of the first despicable me.
Maybe it is too good to be true. I'm still optimistic though, the first Pets was cute and I thought their most worthwhile film. The Despicable Me's, Lorax, and Grinch sucked. Sing was pretty enjoyable though.
Why does illumination keep getting money?
unironically really good at advertising
also minions
also safe bright and cutesy
aren't we supposed to get sing 2 later on in 2020.
pls stop illumination
Illumination films are produced with a low production budget and a huge marketing budget (so you see ads literally everywhere), while also being focus tested to appeal to the most amount of people while simultaneously being as inoffensive as possible. Literally all of their films have become hits with normies as a result.
they play it safe
>All the dogs wearing hats with cat ears
>"pussy hats"
Damn
2021 now
Secret Life of Pets was one of the few movies I found so boring I actually stopped watching it because what actually was about 45-50 minutes felt like 2 hours.
I’m pretty tolerant when it comes to these films, as I genuinely enjoyed the first two Despicable Me films and the Lorax, but god damn this movie bored the shit out of me.
Thankfully I was with my family when we watched this movie and we all had the same opinions, so there’s zero chance I’ll get roped into watching this movie.

2B$ soon

>Unk
Hated that faggot over a decade ago when Walk it out was new; I'm amazed someone unearthed it to paste on a movie trailer about animated pets.
This.
Why do old people love minions so?
We’re getting a Minions 2, Despicable Me 4 as well.
That Mario movie is the only movie they have planned that’s not a sequel.
Post the pasta
I liked this movie
can't find it
Wait... who are these two?
Surprised we didn't get much Donna porn.
I might have been interested if it was more about pets in general, than clearly about dogs. I'm sick of seeing and dealing with dogs absolutely everywhere.
>can use so many things to talk about pets in general
>instead dog eats cat poop
>I'm still optimistic though
Now that's a phrase I haven't heard in a long ass time
Trying to picture a "long ass"...
I can spot one difference.
>Used to have Louis CK, the single thing that made me watch the first crappy baby movie.
>Now has Patton Oswald, who degenerated from tolerable to incredibly annoying within six months of him somehow being cast in fucking 2/3rds of all cartoons.
Every slack-jawed mouthbreather who buys a ticket for literally any Illumination movie deserves what they get.
easily recognizable and marketable, people dont even need to like them
